I am doing some last minute "summer clothes" shopping before all the stores are sold out. There are already have coats and sweaters on display and its hotter than heck over here :confused3 :rotfl:

I have been looking for summer clothes on sale while doing school clothes shopping. I have found some great deals. It has been hotter than heck here and I never did understand why they sell parkas and boots with felt in them down here in Fl. Geesh we get a couple weeks of cool weather. It's not like we live in Alaska. :confused3

Were getting closer, DH is getting so anxious he asks me almost every day how many more days we have until we cruise. :teeth:

PenskeSth1: That is great that you are finding summer deals :thumbsup2 they seem to have cleaned up on summer clearance here in San Diego :confused3 and yeah, what is up with the parkas and boots? the stores pulled them out over here too :confused3 doesn't get that cold here unless you drive up to the mountains in late winter :moped:

I also like your pictures in your post :thumbsup2 cute family :grouphug: and we are also can't wait till cruise time! :Pinkbounc

Have a great weekend everyone! we are off to go to the movies to see "RickyBobby" :rotfl:

We are a big group, 8 in our family, my parents, sister, other sister, her husband and their two kids. We had our reservations linked, and today we got bumped up to first seating for dinner!! We're all so excited. Either way would have worked, since it's cruise food and dining either way, but we prefered first seating, like we had on our first cruise. Plus, with the kids (8 kids ages 11 down to 1), we prefered earlier seating. We got it!!

Not only that, but I am working the night shift on September 2, so I don't have to stay up all night to do our reservations at 3 am on Sep. 3rd!! My dad's glad, because he's just going to give me his info and sleep the whole night away!

OK, back to reality, but now that school starts next week, time is going to FLY!!!!

That is great news about the early seating :thumbsup2 Nice to have that pixie dust happen :cool1:

School starts next week for us too...sure was a fast summer and now the cruise will be here in no time pirate: :yay: :hourglass

We are going to WDW a few days before our cruise. Can't what to see the world decorated for the holidays. Anyway, reservations opened up today for Epcot's Candlelight Processional and I got the time slot, day, and restaurant we wanted. WooHoo! :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 Wahoo! way to go! that is going to be so fun :wizard: I wish my family could go a few days early but we will be going to the World for a few days after the cruise and I am looking forward to seeing on the decorations! I love the Animal Kingdom lodge at Christmas time

Princessdaisy: Thank you for the comp. on family...They are a wild bunch! :teeth:

We got a packet in the mail with all the excursion stuff in it along with activities on the ship! Of course that made the wait so much harder..Then I got in touch with TA to see if we could add the REAS package on, when we added that on Disney sent us a second packet with the same stuff only this time they sent a letter stating we would be able to make ressies for excursions etc. at 105 days out. I guess that means Sunday at 2 am I can go on line and try to make ressies for Palo and any excursions we want to do. We have never did the online reservation thing so this could get interesting. ;)

:woohoo: My ticker says 99 days from now we'll be there!! Hooray!
:cool1:  :cool1:   :woohoo:

:cool1:    :cool1: How are everyone's plans going? I still need to find some transportation back to DW after the cruise :wizard: otherwise, I think we are all set!

I just made my last cruise payment! :cool1: :cheer2: :Pinkbounc Now I'll be able to try and do online Palo and Spa reservations on 9/03/06---if I remember to get up at 3:00 AM! I feel like I'm in the home stretch now.

Hi everyone! We are getting so close to our trip! We have booked our air, our pre cruise night at the Residence Inn and our 3 night post cruise stay at the Animal Kingdom. We are so excited! The only thing left we have to do is our rental car, Palo reservations and excursions. I think we are going to do the Sting Ray city on Grand Cayman and maybe 7 mile beach. Would like to do a beach in Cozumel but not entirely sure if we are going to get off the ship there and if we are not sure which beach.....thinking about Paradise beach. Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the end of summer. I am sure some of your kids have gone back to school.....mine do not go back until after labor day.

We finally hit the double digits...YEE HAW! I made our Palo Ressies and all Castaway Cay ressies. We aren't doing any excursions at the other ports. We may take a taxi and do Paradise beach on our own.

Most likely we will just get off the ship, check out the port a little, then get back on the ship. DS and I don't do the heat real well, so all that walking and running around just doesn't work for us.

We are staying at the Residence Inn the night before too!

Now it is just waiting to get to the single digits...

Alright guys!! The plans are coming together!! great job on getting the Palo resssies! I still need to make final payment this week and then I can go ahead and make Palo ressies too :cool1:

We have Animal Kingdom Lodge for post cruise (then we switch over to Beach Club Villas - gotta swim in Stormalongbay!!)

Looks like we will be seeing alot of ya'll at Paradise Beach! we plan on going there on our own too. :sunny:

I am making some cute magnets for our cruise...would anyone be interested in doing a "tag" game of passing along magnets to each other's stateroom door? I know sounds corny but some other Dis'ers had done it on their cruises and I thought it sounded kindof fun :teeth:

:wizard: Steph

Princess Daisy: I have read about people making magnets for their doors but I am not very crafty. How are you making them? If I can make them we would be willing to play.

Good Morning Good morning. My countdown clock (set to my depature time from my house to hotel #1 of the trip ) states 3 months 6 days - woahhhh babe - that rocks.... I am paid in full - DSis is paid in full - Dsis-in-law is not and Dbrother may not be going - right now his plans are up in the air.

DD and I have made our costumes for Pirate night - SWEEET!! and we ordered DH's from Ebay - pirate:

The only excursions we are planning is Stingray City - all the rest of the time will be getting off the boat and just exploring. Last cruise we went excursion crazy - trying to get it all done - not this time - DH wants to just walk and explore and stuff like that and I am with him on that one!!.....

I still need to order his tux ( first he has to be fitted here in our home town ) and then I can get that off my TODO list.. DD and I are all set there as well. We are packing very very light this time. So that will be easier.

We are going to go to get Water and Beer and Drink mixes when we get to FL the day before since I am going to be renting a van when we arrive at MCO.

So plans are getting firmed up and verry verryyy exciting times are coming.

DD starts school on Wednesday and Dnephews start on Monday. BOY did this summer fly or what!!!

Everyone TGIF and have a blast of a day!!!

Ohhh, that reminds me that I still need to make a choice for the Stingray City excursion...who are you using? I was thinking Captain Marvin or Byron or whateve their names are :rotfl: I don't know if my ds, 4yr, will be going...he says "no way" hahahah!

Good evening all~
I am just planning on booking the excursion through Disney - not sure who / what / when and how.... :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 just know I am doing it :cool1:

Princess Daisy: I'm planning some door magnets too---my brother's helping me since he's much better with the computer :) Sounds fun to do a pass it on game. Count me in! My kids have been in school a little over a week now but today they only had a half day due to a high heat index---their school doesn't have air conditioning! Looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend. Hope everyone else is doing well.
Teri

Luvmykids: I am not too crafty either but I did make some door signs for my last cruise that came out cute and the buttons I am gonna just print out some Disney Clip on magnetic paper and also some Mickey shaped paint chip/paper from Home Depot...the free ones that are for paint samples. I usually write our names on them and attached magnets to the back (nothing too fancy).

Is anyone interested in a Dis meet? and maybe getting a roster together with our cabin #'s and family names, so that we can do the magnet tag and plan a Palo Tea? just thowing out some ideas.

oh, yeah, I just paid off the cruise this afternoon :Pinkbounc and ready to make my ressies too :wizard:

:sunny: Steph aka Princess Daisy

TeriandCB: I would love the see the magnets your brother is helping you with. I am looking for some ideas for mine (mine are not too crafty  ). My daughter started school this week but would love a half day off...how hot is it there? must get very humid? She already got lots of homework for the first week but she is okay about it cause she gets to be in her room with all her ORLANDO BLOOM posters  :lovestruc her latest crush. heheheh!

Have a wonderful weekend everybody!!!! :grouphug:
