Morning All. Well, we made it thru Isaac yesterday. Turned out to be just another wind and rain event for us here on the west coast of Florida. Isaac was far enough out in the Gulf that it didn't impack us the much. I our thoughts and prayers go out to those in New Orleans, where Isaac is suppose to go ashore.

We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers as well Mills family.

See page one for the current list of those wanting to meet up for a CHAMPAGNE GIRLS gathering at Oh La La! Closer in to cruise time I'll hunt you all down for cabin numbers in case you need to be contacted about revised plans once we are on the ship.


Got about 4 weeks till Platinum booking day. Better make sure my cabin mates are ready to pay in full by then! Guess I need to discuss some stuff with my gang regarding Palo and port activities too.

You guys are weather wusses.....118 here yesterday! Welcome to August in the Sonoran Desert!​

I'm LONGING to go on one of the Disney/Pixar California coastal cruises in September. They are offering the super discounted IGT/OGT/VGT rates for these four cruises and I'm trying all kinds of ways to rationalize spending the money (no air fare required, special on board events, for example). Guess I'll pick up another lottery ticket today....​

Have pink boa will travel. Not sure the tiara will travel it may not have survived the last Champagne Girls event on the Fantasy. I figured you would include me but in case you didn't ... yes, count me in. Ooh La La is a great venue. Bigger than Pink. They did some great champagne things for us, sadly I don't recall exactly what it was, there were a few glasses before we got to them.


As for the Pacific Coast cruise ... I could be persuaded

That means I have to pack up between cruises. Sigh.

Anyone on here have 5520 and is willing to trade?

On the postitive side of things. Both rooms are on exact opposite sides of the ship so we could learn which side we prefer once and for all.

I moved my 'dummy' date to this cruise and got a GREAT rate!

I still am waiting to see what will be announced for the Magic & Wonder (possible Hawaii). That could be the only thing that would tempt me away.

I think we'll have some DISers showing up here soon as word is getting around about this itinerary.

Booked, paid and ready to set sail! December 15 cannot get here fast enough!

This will be our 7th DCL cruise and 4th to the Caribbean! We are in the concierge area and I am curious how to do the FE if the gates are closed?

Is there a FE list going on this already? I'm sure there probably is but I am too sleepy to read back over hundreds of pages of posts! LOL!

The FE list has been updated on the FB page. Remember the cutoff date is October 15 and the groups are being kekpt to 20-25. WE have two groups going at this time. WE are also doing Secret Mickey which is one family that send send secret gifts to 2-3 times throughout the week limit to 25-30 dollars. Assignments are going out for those that have signed up so far. If you are not on the fe list or sm list, you may pm me. The cruiser list I have on FB is the most updated. If you want on the FB page, just pm me with the info that I need to friend you.

If you are not on FB, please pm me and I will send you the document by email. Please send me the room updates via pm or facebook private message. Also if you are celebrating birthday's,please pm me with the person celebrating. Last but not least, if I do not have ages of your children, please send those as well. Most are trying to prepare age appropriate gifts.

Updated Champagne Girls info on page one....looks like we have about 25 people so far. When we get much closer in I will be needing cabin numbers in case we have to change plans once on board, so I can get messages to you. I'm thinking we should use first sea day and maybe a 4PM meet time (I know, an hour before official cocktail time, but we want to give the early diners a chance to vist for a while). I also chose 1st sea day as I like to make new friends early in the cruise, so there are more people to say "Hi" to in the halls later on!

Once the first San Juan itinarary returns (11/3 sail date I think), we can see if any DCL activities would warrent a change to our initial plans (and get verification that Oh La La! is open that early).

Secret Mickey is very easy. You are assigned one family to surprise with gifts 2+ times during week. Like a secret pal. You are limited to 25-30 dollars per family. You will deliver the gifts and sign the Secret Mickey, Guess Who? Etc. Likewise a family will be assigned to do the same for you.
Any one got any good ideas on how to reveal? A meet?

Just stopping by to say hello - Yes, thankfully we did make it through Isaac here last weekend... I went to Sam's club and bought about $200.00 worth of hurricane necessities-ugh!!
So glad it swept by us again. Man St.Pete/Tampa Bay area has been so lucky -whew!!
Gettin' really excited about our trip!! I work in childcare-with teenagers and havent had any "real" time off in over a year! -We always run holiday camps too...But I truly LOVE what I do *Will be sure to ck bk after 11/8 for Oh LaLa updates ! Take care all !!!
