DH laughed at me when i told him we need an excel document to keep excursions/dining/nursery/spa times and themes organized. i have no doubt he'll be the one asking me, "what's next?", once we're out there.

lol sommer, I need one too!!

1char- I have two "adopted neices" both named Katie, when they are here it really is crazy, but I use their middle names unless I am mad and then its "HABEL!!" and even the old man will perk up then lol

ty for the list Andrea! I have an envelope coming your way hopefully tomorrow, I somehow ran out of stamps and forgot to get them!

Tomorrow is Caseys face biospsy, keeping my fingers crossed!

So does it mean I need therapy if I already HAVE an excel spreadsheet and that was how I knew this info?(Mandy asked where I got it like it was some official document...Too much time on my hands...)

No rush, take care of Casey, still praying everyday for him!:grouphug:

I have a question for those of you who have done brunch at Palo before. What is the dress code for this? Is it casual, Like capri and button type shirt? We have never ate at Palo for brunch before but, I am hoping we don't have to dress all fancy like we do at dinner time.

yes, capri and button down shirt, in fact, i have a photo from 2005 post brunch and i'm wearing exactly that, capris and button down shirt!!!

i wore khaki capris, which i think are a little dressier than denim...

Lucinda, thinking of you and Casey today, hope everything goes well. take care, Charlie

thanks all

He had it done, Docs have changed their opinion once they got in there, it was much larger than they thought, it was over 2cm( almost an inch) and now they think it might possibly be a cyst but said to be prepared as it might be a sacrinoma( sp) which is a really rare cancer, but he is leaning towards the cyst. It is going to be a long week waiting for the biopsy. He got 7 internal stitches and 5 external and he says he feels like he got a face lift lol

thanks for the thoughts and prayers all!

My 11 year old son and myself will be going on our first Disney cruise. We have been on others (ie., Costa, Carnival, Norwegian) and love cruises. However, there is alot of focus on singles and things for us to do there. Will it be the same with Disney? I know my son will ditch me for Mickey and I can only do the spa so much....Any thoughts?:cool1:

I hope it is a cyst and you all can get on with life (and Disney planning!)

Welcome, I know they have a singles meet and specific activities listed for singles but I haven't attended so I can't attest as to the quality, etc. I know there are TONS of things happening at any time on any day though so I'm sure you won't be bored! I myself plan on finding a nice lounge chair next to the adult pool and enjoying it for a good portion of my vacation!:beach:

Has anyone ever done a State Sticker exchange? These would be great for a scrapbook and easy to carry. Let me know if anyone is interested. Charliebeth

Welcome to the boards. I don't know much about the singles activities, but I know there is so much to do that you will keep busy (as you probably know from your past cruise experiences).

You can only do the spa so much huh? I wish you'd talk to my wife. I think she would spend the entire 7 days in the spa if we let her.

i could see how the spa might get old...bingo is always fun, DH went to an art exhibit last time on the magic and enjoyed it. i might go for one of their culinary type events if i didn't have DS, 22MO, to keep me busy.

I have two little ones who are in bed early, and a wife who was more than happy to sit and read a book at night so I ended up spending evenings going out by myself and had a great time. Maybe if the whole cruise was by myself I might have not liked it as well, but for a few hours a day I managed fine.

If we do this, I claim California, The other four or five from this state are out of luck. ;)

oh my gosh, I was lying in bed and it hit me, midnight is our 75 day mark! I can't remember what anyone said dining rotations are or anything and frantically searching lol...ackkkkkkkk! This is sooooooo not like me, the consumate planner!

Well all I got was our Palo dinner, only time available on Thursday when we planned on doing it for my birthday is at 9pm, I took it, but will probably cancel it. No teas or brunches available. Didnt get nursery or anything, site crashed lol

Yeah!! I got my ressies :woohoo: . Boy you guys, I was really stressed out about that. I'm sure glad that's over with.

I just have to share a HUGE faux paux I made that will make some of you laugh and some of you recheck your reservations (thanks for not ratting me out Andrea). As I was preparing for tonight I was making a log of sorts to help me keep track of the "where" and "when" of it all and I went to enter my outgoing airline information and realized I had scheduled my outgoing flight to Orlando (made it back in Feb) on Sat Dec 13th not to arrive in Orlando until 5:54pm  . Well duh! guess I was planning on missing my cruise all together :sad1: . Suddenly I went into panic mode and called the airline and finally got it all taken care of. Thank God I was trying to write all that info down or I would have been really up a creek when I showed up at the airport on Friday Dec 12th to find I had no reservation.

Anyway, all is right with the world again.:cheer2:

Oh wow Mandy, glad you caught that!

I got my nursery done for Carrie, and nothing else left to plan!

I'm claiming Arizona.

We reserved Palo for Sun. 8:00, DD reserved for Tues. 7:30. Not very many choices for Palo's. Had a hard time with registration, system kept going down. Still trying to finish with DH's info. Kids are set-up for kids clubs.

I recall seeing info a while back about possibly having the kids email each other, get to know each other a little before the cruise. What ever happened? My GD's would be interested in doing this, Katelynn (9) 10 in May, Hailey (4) 5 in Jan. Charliebeth
