Hi everyone!

We have been booked on the cruise for awhile now but I am just getting to this thread. It has been a busy & stressful year for us so we are looking forward to a relaxing cruise!

It is just DH & myself as we are trying to cap off our 30th anniversary this year with a cruise & a visit to WDW for the holidays. We actually spent our 30th at Aulani back in May.

We loved Aulani. The resort is terrific. To me it's in a perfect spot. I am not a Waikiki fan so being away from downtown Honolulu was perfect for us. We spent 10 perfect days there relaxing at the resort and enjoy the different areas of Oahu. The spa is wonderful and there is so much detail in the resort and yes we are planning to return in Sept 2013.

This will be a special cruise for us since I will be celebrating my 60th birthday on the ship. I have not read through all the posts so if someone could give me the Readers Digest version of the cruise I would appreciate it. We did the inagural Hawaii cruise in April and it was great--and a real amazing group of people in regards to the FE. So please get us up to date--and we are looking forward to sailing with all of you....and seeing the new Fantasy.

Welcome! We are all going to have such fun on this cruise! Are you on Facebook? If so, on page 17 of this thread is a "how to" on how to join -- also on that page are instructions on joining the Fish Extender exchange group too
Where are you from? DH and I - along with DS12 & DD10 are from Maryland and this will be our 4th Disney cruise -- the first one for us on the Fantasy. We sailed on the Dream last summer and the two previous times were on the Magic.

This cruise will be our 10th Disney cruise. We love everything Disney!!!!

Your September cruise...is it the NY/Canada? If so you will love it. We did that cruise in June. Halifax was our favorite port!!!

Welcome aboard! Hopefully this will be your first of many Disney cruises. People tend to get addicted to these ships! So beware! We love cruising with Disney and it's just the 2 of us these days. Just 2 big kids enjoying the Disney "fantasy".

How was your cruise? I know it was not Disney but hope you had fun!

Sounds like a fun Day for you on Castaway Cay. My husband and son are doing the jet ski. I will be taking pictures.

The cruise was great. The Monarch of the Seas is a beautiful ship, and it's a shame she will be leaving the Royal Caribbean fleet next March. But, we laughed and we sang and we laughed some more.

The food was really good, and we were seated with the most delightful folks. One couple were celebrating their 50th anniversary. Since the gent of the couple was the only male there, many jokes were made. And all my friends got along well, which was one thing I had been worried about.

Also, RC decided that we should not have been allowed to book 4 adults into our cabin, so they gave us an extra one (also ocean view). I'm thinking the mistake was originally allowed because we changed the date and added a person while staying in the same cabin.

Coco Cay was lovely, but the snorkel vest they make you rent is horribly gadgety and heavy and has a long snorkel like tube attached which whacks you in the arm. But I got some great footage of a sting ray, so I forgave them.

Speaking of snorkeling, is anyone planning to snorkel at St John?

My DW won't be snorkeling and plans to relax on the beach. I'm looking for a snorkel buddy or two. One of the tips I heard is not to snorkel alone. My DW can watch our valuables while we're in the water.
