Dec. weekends vs. Aug. weekdays - crowds about the same?

We'll be at WDW the weekend of Dec. 11-12, and I'm wondering how the crowds will be compared to a typical weekday in Aug. (we went to WDW for the first time this last Aug. 11-13 during the week).

I get the feeling everybody is tired of the "how crowded will it be" posts...

My guess is the crowd levels will be about the same.

since I've never been during that time of year, but will be there Dec. 9-13 and don't anticipate it being too bad. Mousefest will be going on with lots of different activities - here's the link from Deb's site:

Also the holiday season tends to bring more locals on weekends in December.
