Anyone out there who has been the first week of dec.
Can you tell me what kind of weather you had?
Thank you

Hi Joelle,

We have gone the second week of December of 2000, 2001 and 2002. 2000 and 2001 the weather was absolutly perfect!!!!! 80-85 during the day and 60-65 at night. Last year was a little cooler with rain for about 2 days, each lasting about 1/2 the day... One of those days we were at Discovery Cove so we were planning on being wet anyway. We were going to go in December again this year but with my DD skating competitions it did'nt work out so we are forced to go earlier in the year:p

I went Dec. 3-8 last year. The weather was quite nice, actually. It wasn't too hot or too cool. I wore jeans with a short sleeve shirt most days (if not all), and I took a jacket or sweatshirt for the mornings and evenings. It could get a little chilly in the evenings. There was one day when it was a bit cold, so we just layered a bit and bought these cheap gloves they sell in the parks and resorts to keep our hands warm (don't worry though, it really wasn't that cold, it was just drizzling too, which made it a bit colder). We found that wearing a baseball hat with our ponchos kept us dry and kept the drizzle off of our faces. Generally speaking, I think early December has very nice weather. :)

1st week of December is a great time to go. Nice and warm during the day but it does get a little chilly at night. Crowds will be very very low during that Thanksgiving - Christmas break!

I went mid-november in '98, it was warm during the day, shirt and jeans. Light jacket for the evenings. Pools are heated, so you can still swim. Kind of cool for the water parks, but do-able. Have fun!

So glad you asked that question! I have been worrying over the week of Dec 3-11 weather....even though I know it's down the road a bit and can change at any moment it's good to go with an average. Hope to see you there!
