Dec. ressies?

Why are people talking about making reservations for December? Reason I'm asking is I'm starting to put together a plan for my family, parents,and brother plus his son to visit WDW in early December. Now I'm wondering if I need to decide where we will stay and book now? It's still soooo far out !!!!!!! Any sugestions from someone withe experience in WDW and DEC reservations?

I don't know about early december and crowds. But last year, my family went for Xmas. We booked in September and the resort we wanted was already booked. I think that even most of the Values were also full. So we went back to POR. So if you're dead set on a specific resort or you really have to go "value", It might be best not to wait til September like I did.

Guess I better get started with my DEC. trip. ........which mod or deluxe resorts are decorated with that extra "disney" feel?

We have gone two different Decembers and have booked way far in advanced, plus when they came out with a deal I went back to AAA and got that deal...I feel the sooner the better were going back this December and we booked it in February...The crowds are not bad at all...Have fun hope this helps you

bhillier, I think that the resorts decorated with the most Christmas theming are the Wilderness Lodge, Grand Floridian, and Animal Kingdom Lodge. Every resort decorates in keeping with its theme, so it's really fun to tour the different resorts to see what they have done.
