When you send a message you can insert an image. There is a picture of mountains at top to insert. I'm not sure if that is big enough for a shirt though. You could e-mail the actual image if that doesn't work. Someone else may have a better idea of how to do it.

On the magnet page, the DISsigners save it in photobucket and then post the link.

Oh, I am more clueless than I thought--I can't even make sense of the instructions Okay, how do I get the image to start with? Can I jsut click on it in someone's signature an copy it somehow? If Marika feels up to working on a computer when she awakens I will ask her if she can figure ot out (she is no longer coughing or feverish--but was still very dizzy with a bad headache all day yesterday and is sleeping about 15-16 hours a day--I am trying not to think about how much school she is missing; we are up to day 8 with the flu plus the 10 days we will take for vacation).

Mine are still being made by my Saint of a Sister-In-Law - it will be two sided so we can be prepared for Pirate night!! We are so so excited, Thanksgiving is not getting the attention it usually does around here!!

Hoping all the kids feel better soon! On our last 7 day cruise my oldest son started complaining of a terrible stomach ache at dinner, I was planning to take him to the ship's doctor when he announced it might be the apple juice drinking contest he and another boy had earlier in the day. He drank 12 glasses of apple juice! When I relayed the story later to another passenger, she told me had we gone to the ships doctor, we probably would have been quarantined for the rest of the cruise in case it was the flu! So check for any juice drinking contests prior to taking anyone to the clinic on the ship!!

AMY--I keep forgetting to ask, since the area that is easy to describe for lanyard pick up is, apparently, now roped off to have photos taken (these are new since our last cruise in September 2008), do you have some way you can give us to identify you? Perhaps you have a distinctive hat you can wear, or something? If you come up with an idea. please let me know and I will add it to the post on page 40. Thanks.

Seriously though, I am planning to enlist my kids to make a MouseSurfers sign on a small posterboard (think 11x14 size). Keep in mind it will be made by kids, so, while charming, it won't be graphically pleasing. We will only hold it up once in a while, but if you keep an eye out for it, you'll spot us with it. What if we try to congregate by the model of the ship? I think I've seen pics with a model in it???

Regarding the logo, it was MommyofTwinfants who created it, so maybe she can add it to our roll call posting instead of Hadley.

When we get to the port, maybe Hadley can convince Dave and myself to hold the signs up occasionally. Everyone be aware, and watch for the 2 tall guys (6'5") with 2 beautiful wives beside them.(and screaming kids running all around). Then again, just be on the lookout for at least 1 tall dad who will do what he can in the kid chaos. I'll have a Tilley hat on for those who know what that looks like (www.tilley.com)

I don't know if any of you are interested in having gifts/flowers delivered to the ship before you get there. I just ordered a dozen roses for our cabin as this is our anniversary celebration (even though the anniversary isn't until 12/23).

We got buckets from Shirley for the kds a couple of years ago. They were nice. I am toying with getting something this cruise. Shirley and Norm are some of the most genuinely nice people you could ever come across

Just got an email back from a travel medicine immunization place that said they are allowed to give H1N1 shots to those traveling internationally soon ... so I just got dh signed up (I already had one due to asthma).

Also, for those who don't mind digital reading - the Kindle for Iphone app is not too shabby, & it can hold thousands of pages of books, without the hassle of lugging a bunch of books around (of course, your "book" will need charging every now and then ).

I just ordered sand buckets for my boys and nieces/nephews yesterday and some flowers/champagne for my MIL from Shirley. I ordered one medium sand bucket per room and hope there wont be any issues with sharing! I've ordered mediums and larges from them on about 5 of our cruises and everything has always been great.

For those interested, the price quote I got for buckets was:

$28 for a small bucket--includes 4 drinks, 1 temp tatoo, 1 fruit snack, 1 bag of cookies and 1 pack of snacks with what she said would be beach toys for a very young child.

$40 for the medium bucket--includes 6 drinks (I could choose between gatorade, water, caprisun or juice boxes), 2 temp tatoos, 2 fruit snacks, 2 bags of either oreos or famous Amos choc chip cookies (or one of each), 2 snack size bags of our choice of chips, doritos, fritos or cheetos, and some sand toys.

$48 for the large bucket---included 8 drinks and 3 of each of the other snack items.

I asked for $20 worth of flowers in a vase and a medium priced bottle of champagne which they said was $20.


Each item also had tax and a $14 DCL delivery fee since I had them delivered to 4 rooms. I could have had 2 tied together and sent to my room for only 2 $14 charges, but I really wanted them in their own rooms since it's their 1st cruise and I wanted them to get them when they 1st see their room.

Our flight does not leave until December 3, but we're leaving on Dec 2 to drive to Buffalo for the night in order to catch an early flight and clear customs with lots of time to spare. I'm booking off Dec 2-12, so my customers think I'm gone already and my vacation starts the evening of December 1.

So for me, it's 12 days to our vacation!

Ok, I hope you've tried on their Christmas outfits as well. Now you make fake plans, like a phony hotel reservation for Dec 5 so the kids can go swimming at a hotel for the weekend. They then think they're going someplace totally different for just one night rather than the real excursion.

Does anyone have a clue how to make the logos bigger? I asked this weeks ago when the logo was posted but no one seemed to know. If I'm going to put it in a shirt, I'd like it to be big enough to cover the front of the shirt. But I have no clue how to do that.

I can't wait for Dec 1 either! That is when we are flying to Orlando! We're spending the day at DTD before hitting the parks the next day. Yesterday in the car, Haley asked me if we could just go ahead and go. She knew we couldn't but we are both so excited. We ended up singing part of the song on Splash Mountain.

We did start packing a few days ago. Cameron found his little Mickey suitcase and starting loading it up with toys! He rolls it all over the place now and says he is ready for Mickey Mouse's House! We are all ready Well, not packing wise but emotionally we are !!!
