Can someone find the other posts with the names of the 2 families who volunteered to have message boards on their cabin door?

It is so cool you are trying to surprise the kiddos with this. I searched back thru the posts and found that DisneyCruisin' is FWD in 6014 and Rowst3 is MidShip in 2560. Your are the 3rd one, Aft in 2120.

Scot--we would be happy to have you dine with us. I have almost asked you before. That said, we will not be in the least bit offended if you would rather not dine at a table with kids (they will be 11 and 13 Christmas week). We like them, but you may not! They tend to behave themselvs and look forward to dinners on the ship almost more than any other part As far as cash goes, we don't spend much at port (maybe $50 total on taxis). We like to eat on the ship--but even if we do get soemthing most of the shops and restrurants take credit cards. Other than that we like to have about $50 in small bills to use to tip porters and room service. We usually have plenty left over, but I would rather have too much than too little

Hadley - if you guys (and Scot??) want to request to be in the same area of late dining room as Amyngary, Piratemaiden, Carmie3377, and myself, I can PM you my reservation #. The 4 of us have linked our dining and are probably getting 2 tables together.

I was one of the beta testers for this business. The owners locker is a big storage bin that you fill with things that you use in your villa while staying at Disney. Each time to travel to WDW, your owners locker meets you at your villa (at Bell Servicers) and then is picked up again and taken back to the warehouse when you check out.

Some people have more than one locker so that they keep clothes etc in Florida and don't really have to pack anything. They can travel without luggage at all, even carry on.

We haven't gotten to the point where we keep clothes in the locker but I do have shoes/lanyards/ears/hair products/ detergent/ sun visors, drugs, wine glasses/etc. in our locker. We can usually pack just one suitcase for the two of use when we go to WDW because so much of the bulky stuff is already there waiting for us.

If anyone is interested in getting more information from Owners locker, please let me know. They have a $25 gift card program for referrals. You just need to give them my email address and name for me to get credit for the referral. PM me for that info and I'd be happy to give it to you, I just don't want to post it on the open board.

I am missing my brother this week and it will be 4 months to the day that he left us .... FAR TOO SOON ... when we depart on our Magical Cruise

mommyoftwinfants: When are you staying in the concierge at AKV? We'll be there on the 3rd and 4th. We get in late on the 3rd and are planning on doing MK on the 4th before MVMCP (we aren't doing it that night). We stayed in it one night before our August 3 day cruise and really enjoyed the amenities. I know that there are very few rooms up there so we may run into you if you are staying there before the cruise!

What was the deal at Target? We have 2 Super Walmarts with in 5 minutes of our house but we have to drive 30 minutes to get to a Target. We were supposed to have one open last summer but they delayed the construction due to the economy. I can't wait until they open one and hope never to set foot in Walmart again. It's crazy and gets even scarier crazy the closer it gets to Christmas. I'm serious when I say I'm afraid to get run over in the parking lot by someone cruising for an empty spot! Luckily I did 99% of my boy's Christmas shopping on Veteran's Day when I was off and they were in school. I even got things wrapped and hidden in the attic!

We will stay at AKV on the 12th, doing the safari on the 13th, then flying home in the evening.

The safari is the same as the one you go on when the park is open except you do it very slowly and the vehicle stops often to allow you to take pictures. Then you get a nice breakfast buffet at the end of the safari. Here's a tip: on your way past the entrance to the safari on your way to breakfast, stop and get fast passes to do the safari again after breakfast. The park will be open by then and the fast pass time is likely to be around the time when you are finishing breakfast.

There are behind the scenes tours to show you that kind of stuff. They do show you on the safari where food is hidden for the animals to keep them close to the road for guests to see. If you're staying concierge, you can eat breakfast in the lounge for free. It's actually pretty good- cereals, fruit, oatmeal, etc.

I found a scanned copy of the navigators from this same cruise that sailed in February. It doesn't state that there is any signing up for it. I assume you just show up. The class is going to be in Studio Sea. I'm planning on attending these classes so I'll probably see you there.

I hate to say we are not Yankee fans, being originally from Pittsburgh we would cheer for the Pirates win or loose, mostly loose. We are however huge Steelers fans and our door will reflect that on the cruise.
