Dec. 4th MVMCP DIS Meet - HELP !!!!

OK everybody who is attending the DIS Meet at MVMCP on the night of Dec. 4th, I need your help.

I had originally planned on having everybody meet in front of "Ye Christmas Shoppe" in Liberty Square for the the first parade. Then watching the fireworks from "Dan Murphy's Spot" which is also in Liberty Square.

However, now I'm not so sure that's a good idea. The reason is that "Wishes" is best watched from Main St. So now I'm thinking maybe we should meet at the "Hub" in front of the Castle. The only thing I'm worried about is how crowded it will be. Liberty Square traditionally is much less crowded during parade time than Main St. We will have little ones in the group, so meeting for the 2nd parade is probably not a good idea.

So dear DIS'er friends here's how you can help. Please post here your thoughts and ideas on where the meet should be held and the majority will rule.

Remember that there will be a group of 25 of us that will be having dinner at CP, so we will already be in the park at the start of the party.

BTW........So far we have 46 people who have signed up to attend the meet.

When I was at MNSSHP on October 3rd, we migrated from Liberty Square over to the hub to see the fireworks without too much problem. We were able to see the Halloween version of Tinkerbell quite clearly and the view of the fireworks was quite good. The fireworks show for MVMCP in 2001 and 2002 was quite different from the ordinary MK fireworks. I wonder if "Wishes" will be shown or if it will be a special MVMCP show. I still think that it's better for us to gather in Liberty Square because finding people at the hub could be a huge problem.

Don't fret Linda. Everything will work out fine.

Of course I'm going to fret John. I want everybody to have a great time. I don't want people to leave the meet and say "Boy what a crummy Dis meet that was. That Linda dosen't know what they heck she's doing when it comes to organizing" I always want things to work out perfectly (even though I know they never do ).

Anyway, I checked the Disney.com site and they do say that it will be "Wishes" that's shown during MVMCP.

I tend to agree with you about staying in Liberty Square. I suppose we could try and make our way to the Hub after the parade.

I know, I worry too much about these things - sigh !!

Linda, never fear, we will have no matter what!!!! With the group here, how could you have anything else but fun I think what John said was good... I think it would be so much more diffcult to meet at the hub than it would be where we met last year!

Linda... I know you are worried.. I am not sure if Tom and I signed up for that night... we did it last year and have not discussed whether we will attend again this year... if we do.. we know where to find you all..
