Dec 3-14 PTR - D23 & Reunion2010! updt 1/3/11

I haven't really gotten into Vinylmation. Though I saw where someone got a big white one and a sharpie and used it for a wedding reception "guest book." Love that idea!

I thought you might also like some pictures from the more recent July 11 Disney meet at Menlo Park Mall in NJ.

I need to rent a car to go out to my College Roommate's Wedding in Chicago at the beginning of August. Prices are ridiculous.

Chicago is one place that I only once rented a car, but I was visiting outside Chicago itself. The few times I stayed in Chicago, I didn't rent. I need to go back soon. :goodvibes

I went last year, it really was great. The parade alone makes the admission price worth it!

I'm hoping! :woohoo:

I don't need to go to MVMCP again, though. I've done twice and I'm good. maybe I'll feel differently in a few years. :confused3

Ooohhh, I loves me some Vinylmation! but the small ones, not the big honkin' ones. They are super cute and relatively inexpensive Disney-wise. I don't really do the "series" - I don't care if I have a set/series, I just like the ones I like.

A friend of mine got a big white one and had the characters sign that. That was cool. :goodvibes

I called today and booked a Wishes Dessert Party for October!!!! :woohoo: :yay:

I don't think I'm going to book one for December. I also changed times on the Tony's for MNSSHP night with the neice & sister to 40 minutes later. i want to make sure I'm in the restaraunt for the parade to come by. :goodvibes

I decided to take a trip to Paramus, NJ (not exactly far... :laughing: ) since I heard there was a Disney Outlet in Bergen Town Center mall. Not a store but Outlet.

So, after driving and getting my road rage on, I finally got there. Argh. :headache:

The mall is very nice, and I did visit Century 21, Whole Foods, Payless and Target besides the Disney store...outlet.

Now, it's definitely not an Outlet. It's a store that has a marked down section. At first, I found nothing I wanted, but eventually picked up these at pretty decent prices. :goodvibes

Originally $24.50, marked down to $.99!

It will serve to remind me of my December 2009 trip, plus I like snowglobes!

Not marked down, but I love car toppers! $2.50

I like this pattern rather than other characters, will bring this with me in October!

updated my 2nd post with this as well....

For October trip ....

** booked a Wishes Dessert Party for October!!!! :woohoo: :yay:
Hopefully this will be a great time for the birthday girls. The reviews are either horrible or excellent. This also means adding on a park day to Disney ticket & canceling Ragan Rd ADR, but it also means more time in MK.

** also changed times on Tony's ADR
for MNSSHP night with the niece & sister to 40 minutes later. I want to make sure I'm in the restaraunt for the parade to come by. Good idea? Should I keep the orig earlier ADR?

** thinking about canceling my solo Tony's ADR
on my solo MNSSHP night. do I need more time? Is it too much to have a dinner ADR? thoughts?

** also changed Cape May ADR on departure dayfor a later breakfast time; a sleep-in might be needed. :goodvibes

~~~~ Still haven't made any decisions either way for buying separate tickets or an Annual Pass. Chances are prices will go up in first weekend of August.
for the December trip
** I don't think I'm going to book a Wishes Dessert Party
I'll be solo and...just don't think I want to do it
** Hopefully Candlelight Processional info will be out soon; I really want to do that. Hopefully with BFF in NJ Mary
** Still looking for decent airfare for Dec
Disney announced there will be a new Animal Kingdom Safari tour for this fall, but no other information than that, so we'll wait and see....
And I really really really have to make an informed decision on Disney tickets. AP or not to AP? If I do get an AP, but haven't used it yet, can I still get an AP discount on a room ressie? :confused3
for December trip
-- So, the Candlight Processional information for December should be out soon. I hope we can make reservations soon, so I can finish that part. :thumbsup2
It does look like Steven Curtis Chapman, will be the narrator for my dates. this is fine by me, since I've never seen him before.
-- no change for December flight yet :headache: I may have to look into using my miles. I can't believe the flight I want costs $560! If i leave 2 days earlier, it's $158. Double :headache:
I just booked Delta for $100 one way, I was surprised at the cost!
For the AP...as long as you can produce an AP during your stay, you're ok to book with the AP rate.
I think my airfare problem is that I'm leaving on a Friday...if I leave on a Wednesday, I can get a $158 r/t airfare. :rolleyes: As it stands now, it is $565 r/t. :headache:
If I decide to get an AP, I probably will get it at some point in September. If I never used the AP yet, I can still book the AP rate??
..and got these fab purchases!
you find Disney at the most unexpected places! $8 for this canvas bag *and* it's lined inside. Awesomesauce!
-the B&W blouse $12
-the red blouse $15 (a Van Heusen!)
-the white underblouse $8
-the brown rose skirt $20 (was $130, a Jones New York!)
:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
for a frugal shopper like me, I was very happy with these purchases.
This was not even planned, we were planning to go for a boat ride in Pennsylvania, but it got cancelled due to rain in the middle of driving there, so we stopped here. As it happens, it stopped raining and we strolled the Village, then headed back home.
Yep, you can. October 2008 I purchased my AP during the stay and I had the AP rate booked. I had to go back to the front desk later on in my stay to show them I did indeed purchase the AP, otherwise the price reverts to the rack rate. Oh, and you'll have to book over the phone, not online.
Love the tote! So cute! Nice purchases :thumbsup2
Thank you! It was quite the thrill! :laughing:
I'm *probably* going to buy an AP, especially with $168+ of parking staring at me. Oiy.
So, I got tickets for my sister & niece today. I bought them from AAA since they are very near, I can get them in hand and a preferred parking pass. It ROCKS.
$168 for parking?? :eek:
Hopefully DisneyGirlNJ and I convinced you to get the AP yesterday :)
Yep! I'm off-site and I *think* I have a total of 12 parks days between Oct & Dec trips (if not more??), at $14 a pop = $168! :sad: :faint:
I guess I can find ways around it, but it just isn't worth it.
You're kat228, right?
Yep, that's me! That's my normal name that I use when I need a "nickname." I just decided to go more Disney for this site:)
