Dec. 2010, free dining??

I am wondering if anyone out there knows the possibility of there being free dining next December. I'm pretty sure they did it last year and this year. Does that mean it will be a pattern for the future like Sept. is? What do you guys think? That is my next scheduled trip, so here's hoping!

Last year it was only offered to Disney Visa holders. I think it'll be offered this year if they're having trouble filling up rooms. They'll start with AP and FL resident discounts, move on to DV discounts and then if they still don't have enough rooms filled they'll offer public discounts. It really does come down to how much trouble they're having filling rooms.

Well really anything is possible. We are going late August, but I am not 100% counting on free dining, because you never know when they will change the promotion or even do away with it. I am hoping for it, but not counting on it. Although my DH keeps telling me it will be offered, but that is just to shut me up about it.

Maybe it was just a pin I received for free dining in Dec. last year. I got the same pin this year before free dining was offered to the general public, but already had a trip planned for Sept. and couldn't use it.

Anything is possible...BUT last year the Dec Free dining promo was NEVER offered to the general public.It was first sent out as a pin then to Disney Visa holders only.This year was the first year it was extended to the general public, and my guess was because of the economy.Dec 2010 is a long way off yet, if the economy has not stabilized it is a good bet it will be offered.Disney never offers such things unless it NEEDS to.
