Just wanted to say HI, I read your last trip report and also I am reading Reese's tr. I also will be in Disney the same time as you guys. We are going down December 1st and comming back home on December 13th. My husband will be having a birthday while we are down there too....
I also have been debating the whole croc issue myself, still haven't been able to buy a pair because I don't like the way they look. But keep hearing how comfortable they are and want to buy a pair. I have 2 boys who both have a pair and they love them, so I was having the same delemia?????

ericamcl All I can say about scrapbooking is jump in. I had no idea what I was doing when I first started but it all just seems to come together, a lot of times I will sketch out on paper what I want to do as far as a layout, but I mostly stick with a few of the same ideas, like a border down one side or across the top and then just add pictures. Have fun with it.

njdisneyfreak Countdowns are what keeps me going, I try and always have something small to look forward to that leads up to something big to look forward to, it's endless. And once the kids are back I will be so busy with Reese and her 2 cheerleading squads and gymnastics, Jim with guitar lessons and he wants to get a job. Disney will be here before I know it.

AGPrincess Strawberries and whip cream yum!!! Yes I am hungry again. At home here, I mix a box of strawberry jello with a tub of whip cream and it is perfect for dipping fruit, especially strawberries.
I guess if anyone knew about a summer with brothers it would be you.

m11dolphin Oh my gosh we could so be twins. are you going to MVMCP? We are going on Dec 6th. I am so excited. Hopefully we will run into eachother while were down there. That would be so cool.
I have to say I hated the look of the crocs, but I wanted the comfort and now that I have them, I think they actually look cute on my feet, they make my feet look smaller if you can believe that. I want to get another pair.

ILMICKEY My sister lives a half hour away from my parents but only sees them maybe once a month, she tries to see my brother more but they have such different schedules. But when we are all together it's totally mad fun.

Matt IS coming for sure. the dates were pushed back a week, he will get here the 26th of July and stay until the 29th. I am so excited, then it will only be 2 weeks from there that my kids come home.

I thought I would share a few of my purchases with everyone.

One of my dilemas was I didn't want to bring my big ole cannon camera into the parks. It takes great pictures and can do so much to enhance pictures, but it's just too big and I was afraid I would break it or bust the flash off, (I have already done that twice) they are expensive to replace. My smaller camera doesn't take great pictures, just ok pictures, but if I break it oh well. But what do you do when you want great pictures with no worries.
You buy a new digital camera that has all the amenities of the big 35mm camera and get the 2 year warranty that covers EVERYTHING! I debated long and hard, I have been going around in my head with this longer than I was with the crocs, I really like 35mm but now that I have been playing with my new digital, I can see why people like it. I will still use my cannon around home, but my new digital will be my travel companion from now on.

this is a picture of the box it came in, I couldn't take a picture of the camera because I was using it to take a picture of the box. But I will post a picture of it in my hand so you can see the size difference between the two. but I have to wait and get that film developed. Which is another thing, digital is so convenient.

I also got another scent for Disney, I had to. It was on sale!!! I got all 3 bottles of "Beyond Berry" for less than 10$ at Bath and Body. Love that smell, trying hard to not use it all up before my trip.

I am gonna be smelling good!!!!

This was the first pair of crocs I purchased, and I must say, I used my digital camera to take the picture, it takes nice shots, I tell you what!!!

the next pair I bought were the flip flops, love flip flops

Oh my gosh, but they are comfy, you don't even feel the thongy thing between your toes.

So that is it for now. I know there will be more purchases soon and later probably right up until the day we leave. But it's all in the name of Disney.

Great camera! I love the picture of the crocs in the pines . Wow you are really going to town on the crocs. The nightmares and sweats must be gone huh?? I still haven't worn mine in public.

I know what you mean. That's DH's job when we go. He doesn't seem to mind toting around the big camera but I find it so heavy and such a bother. Love my little digital baby

SwansLove Disney I love my new camera, I was able to test it out and see how well it does with fireworks, they turned out great, so I know I will get good pictures at "Wishes".

If you are a flip flop kind of person you cannot go wrong with the flip flop crocs. I say get a pair.

ILMICKEY You could almost call the picture of the crocs in the pines "Artistic" aint? I have done much public wearin of the crocs, I am afraid I will wear them out before me trip. But yeah, the mightmares and sweats are gone. now I just have the giggles.

blue river I could never trust my DH with a camera, not even a disposable. He takes horrible pictures anyway, I never know what he was thinking when I get the pics developed and their are 4 pictures of the back of someones head. I put him in charge of picture taking for my Mom's 50th birthday party, and all the pictures were taken from behinde, Mom blowing out candles, opening presents, eating etc... all the back of her head.

Lovemy3babes VACATION SHOPPING RULES!!! I just got a tiny 4 inch fan for the trip. I need white noise to sleep, I have slept with a fan since I was 7 years old, so this one is small enough for the suitcase, but still loud enough to lull me to sleep and keep me there.

I like your new camera it does take pretty pictures. A fan? you bought a fan to fit in your suitcase? I thought you were nuts when you hauled your big fan to Myrtle Beach.

Is Jen going to have a baby? I hope it's a girl if she does. I will help you change her mind about Disney.

I dragged Fred and Sport into Bath and Body this weekend just to try the Frosting.

Well, I don't know about dragged, I couldn't lose them!

WOW! That even smelled too sweet. I got a sugar high just putting it on my hands!! I liked the banana smoothie!! That was yummy, but didn't buy it.

I just can't break away from my Avon hand and nail cream. My nails have never looked better!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!

Yeah, it is sweet smellin. I wonder if it will make me gain weight when I wear it? I just bought another lotion, Jessica Simpson's "Bubble Gum" it smells just like bazooka gum, I love it!!!! I really need to slow it down on the lotions, I can't use them up as fast as I'm buying them, there is so many flavors I want to take to Disney with me, I need to narrow that down or I will have no room for clothes in my suitcase.

I should be cleaning the house right now, my brother Matt, Lola and Hyde all get in at 4:00am tomorrow, it's just a wake up away. I am so excited big party here Friday night, everyone on the Dis is invited!!!

I wanted to post a few of my purchases, I mentioned my tiny fan.

I set it next to a bottle of water so you can see just how small it is, I have tried it out, it has the lull me to sleep ability, so that will help some at Disney. I love my sleep time, I hold it dear to me.

I love the muppets and fell in love with this shirt. I got it at Kohl's in the mens department.

I got this shirt at Walmart, you can't really see it, but the image is made up of tiny rhinestones.

This is my Disney planner, I had wanted to get the passporter, I was even in line at the checkout stand with it and then changed my mind, I decided to make my own planner using the unofficial guides on line trip planning papers that are free to print out. I am still working on my itinerary right now, it's nothing hard core yet, just jotting things down here and there, I have my ADR confirmation #'s in there and points of interests etc...

This is the Animal Kingdom page, I like to fun things up with stickers.

This is the MGM page, see? not much on there yet, but I guarantee you that come 3 months out that book will be filled to capacity and over run with plans and stickers for fun.

And everything will be packed into my new luggage set, I don't think I will be bringing the whole set, probably just the 2 bigger ones and then a carry on.

So there it is, just a glimpse of my plans.

What does this picture have to do with Disney? Absolutely nothing. This is Coach T's son, the dirty pirate He asked me to shave his head and trim up the mohawk, I loved that! It was fun, I had never shaved any thing but my legs, this was cool and I wanted to share, that's all.

So I will be signing off now and will be gone for a bit. Hope to see you all at my party, it's gonna be big, if you are away on vacation and can't make it, we'll miss you, but I was serious about wanting a post card!

I loved your last post. I'm so glad your brother is coming. I know you weren't sure if it would happen. I love all the pictures you posted. The shirts are great. I love the Mickey one. I might have to go get that one for myself. Is that little fan from Wal Mart too? Now that the Bermuda trip has come and gone, I have to get myself into Disney mode. Won't be hard to do!!!
