Dec. 2, 2010 3 day Wonder

Welcome aboard and I'm so happy to have another family joining us! Yes, FE gifts can be as simple as a few Hershey kisses. Or, you can go ALL THE WAY like these http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1980639. Personally, I'm somewhere in the middle--a little crafty and a little "shop at the dollar store". :rolleyes1

OMG I checked out your link and boy there are some crafty people out there!
I got an idea while on there, that I think may be nice. So thanks for the tip!

Woo-hoo!! :cool1::banana::yay::cheer2:

OK, yes, I might be a little excited. :lmao:

OK, so the approval came today...So excited! We are in for the FE....don't have my cabin yet (obviously) but soon soon soon!!!!

 :dance3: :yay: :woohoo: Yippee and whoo-hoo!!!! So happy for you!! Good luck with your booking tomorrow and don't worry about the early seating for dinner. If you get late dining, when you board the ship, you can go down to Wavebands and see about switching. As of Sept 5th, the Navigator for embarkation day shows dining changes at Wavebands between 1:00 and 3:30pm. The earlier you get there, the better, of course!

You are most welcome! Especially glad that it was helpful to you :teeth:

We have a room! And yes, second dinner with no shortlist available for first dinner at this time. But I don't care... because I am going to be on a Disney Cruise and I will happily eat anything.

Now to be thinking about a fish extender and FE gifts.... :goodvibes

Is there a formal night on 3 day cruises? Just wanted to k now for packing....

This is from the DCL website.

On 3-night cruises:

* One cruise casual night—no shorts, swimwear or tank tops
* One pirate or tropical night (deck party)
* One "dress-up night"—jacket for men, dress or pantsuit for women

On our 7 night cruise some folks just showed up in cruise casual and they were fine. If you want or like to dress up you can every night. The only place they strictly enforce the dress code is at Palo.

Thanks for posting. I hate to say it but I get most of my info from these boads and not DCL. Guess I should have looked there. Thanks

Our kids do not know, and we are going to keep it a secret. When we pick them up from school on the 1st and leave for the airport, they will assume we are going to WDW...which we are. BUT, when we get up in the morning and the car arrives in Port Canaveral at the Disney ship and NOT at WDW, they will know the truth.

We may give them a 'Christmas' gift the morning of the 2nd to open at the hotel before we leave, we just haven't decided yet how to do the surprise.

Either way, they will be totally excited!

Don't worry about it. We do the same thing. Our first cruise was in 2007, and some of this stuff has changed over the years. This will be our first 3 day cruise.

This sounds so neat. I hope you can keep the secret.

First Disney cruise for me and my husband. we had originally booked a 4 day trip to Sanibel Island and then hubby went behind my back and changed it to a Disney cruise as a birthday surprise. I am totally not complaining ;-)

We would love to participate in the FE gift exchange.

We arrive the night before the cruise but are staying at some bed & breakfast near the port. After the cruise we are staying at the Contemporary for one night so we can attend one of the Magic Kingdom Christmas Parties.

Hello Everyone,

Anyone staying at Disney before or after the cruise?

We are flying in late the night before and will stay at an airport hotel (any suggestions?), then head to Port Canaveral Thursday morning.

On Sunday we will drive to the Contemporary for 7 nights! We did Port Orleans in 2008, in 2009 with the declining dollar opted for Pop Century (although the dollar recovered before we actually travelled, but Pop was just fine), but the Contemporary....for a convention rate....very exciting! We will do MVMCP one night (not sure which one) and are doing the Candlelight Processional, dessert reception and Illuminations with VIP seating on Friday. Going to do the Osborne Spectacle of Lights on Tuesday I believe, and just have FUN!!!

:cool1:

The FE sounds like a lot of fun. It will be me and my husband Donna & Curt. My reservation still isn't showing our room number.
We are flying in on the 1st. I think we will stay at the Radison. After the cruise we will be at Bay Lake Towers until the 12th. We have tickets for the Christmas Party on the 7th.

SO exited! Just booked our cruise! We're celebrating my 40th birthday - the only way I could get my oh-so-into-Disney-but-afraid-to-cruise-Husband to agree to a cruise.

Could you please add us to the FE?

Christine, Frank, and Isabella (age 3), Room 2058

This is my 2nd time on the Wonder, but it's been a few years - SO EXCITED!!! We have 2nd dining, but it sounds like that will be OK if we can get Bella potty-trained before the cruise (we're close).

Only 50 days to we set sail!:dance3:
