Dec. 2, 2010 3 day Wonder

I've had this cruise booked for about a month, and the anticipation will drive me crazy . This will be my first Disney cruise, and only my second cruise ever. I will be going solo. A meet would be fun, and would take a bit of the anxiety out of my first solo cruise. May I ask, are you all choosing the first or second dining? I've actually chosen the first at this time.

Hi - This will be our first Disney cruise. There will be seven of us - DH (60), me (60), DS (41), DD (36), DSIL (38), DD (28), DGS (2). We are looking forward to this cruise as we LOVE anything Disney!!!!! We are planning to spend another week in WDW once we get back from the cruise.

:dance3:

Looks like it will be a great time!!!!

We have the second dining time.

Hi - I just was reading the thread about FE's. Anyone interested in doing a FE exchange group for our cruise? It looks like lots of fun.

What is the FE exchange? I saw you are spending a week in disney after the cruise. Where are you staying? We are at BLT from the 5th-12th.

@disneydonnam - We are actually staying at the Wyndham's Bonnet Creek (we are Wyndham members).

HI everyone, we are going on this cruise also. My husband and I and another couple. We have 2 staterooms booked. No kids this time! We would like to join the FE. We have done it in the past and its so much fun! If you want I will start a list and organize it. Please let me know if anyone is interested.

Hi Tweet - Count me in. Sounds like fun. I do have to warn you, this will be my FIRST FE exchange.

Father-Daughter (8) cruise this time. We wound up with too many DVC points and were originally planning to go on a seven day in January, but DW has to prep for teaching a new college course, so she can't make it. We decided to catch this one instead since it gives us a chance to see the Wonder at Christmas time. We had done a New Year's Eve Cruise on the Magic and it was still decorated, but CC was not. Also, this gives us a chance to see the parks decorated since we will stay at WDW before and after the cruise ( along with Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on Sunday when we get back).

This will be our fifth Disney Cruise and the shortest: Three on the Magic and one four day last January on the Wonder (Kids sail Free was just too tempting). I will need advice as to how much gold by the inch I will need to buy for DW for Christmas to make up for leaving her behind while she teaches.

Wow ... you can just walk down to Chef Mickey's ... how cool is that!!!!

My mother and I are going on this cruise! We always wanted to see the ship decorated for the holidays! My husband is NOT coming with us -- it's a ladies cruise. We already got our orders for what to bring home for him. When the cruise gets a little closer we will all have to plan a meet onboard. Can't wait to go; just hope we can also get onto CC -- we love it there!:santa:

We're in for the Fish Extenders and a DISmeet, too! This will be our 5th DCL cruise, but our first during the holidays. Can't wait to see the decorations and special holiday events! Is it time to start packing, yet?!!!

I'm getting real excited about the upcoming Disney cruise. If we are doing a FE exchange, I guess I better get busy and start making mine (ours). We are actually in two rooms so we will be doing 2 FE exchanges (or participating twice -- does that make sense?). I looked for some fabric the other day but I only saw one Disney fabric in the whole store. I'll try another store. Keep your fingers crossed for me. The threads on FE exchanges are really helpful. :hippie:

We'll do the FE too! We have 2 adults and 3 kids: boy 6 (It's his birthday!), boy 4, and girl 22 months.

Has someone volunteered to organize this? We'll need a list of participants with cabin numbers, number of adults, number of kids with gender and ages in case some people want to customize. We'll also have to set a cutoff date for participation so we can all prepare.

I'm also wondering...
Can anyone post important dates, such as when we're able to reserve Palo, etc. This is only our 2nd cruise and I haven't quite got it all figured out! :rotfl:

Tweet had mentioned she could start a list. Are you interested and able to do that? I'm not sure what is involved in organizing a FE swap ... but it sure sounds like fun. :rotfl:
