Sorry Michael I couldn't come to your help sooner. Glad to hear you had a great time south of the border.

Marc, this is pretty rough, but is it what you had in mind?

Hi all,

I hope evreyone is doing well and is getting ready for the big trip in 3 1/2 months. I can't believe how close it is....:cool1: Michael and Marc.. we hope you had a great and relaxing trip to Cabo.

I am sorry that i haven't written in a while and I don't mean to have abandoned you, but this last month has been very busy with the new baby and taking care of the other 3 children. Yes we finally had our little guy on July 15th. We named him Isaac and he was 9 lbs 2 oz---a big little guy.:)

Thanks for the nice e-mail Marilyn on my other post:) It was nice to hear from you! We look forward to meeting you too.

Vicki

Isaac is a wonderful name Vicki. :) Are you beginning to get organised? :santa: pirate: Will soon be here.

Congrats Vicki!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Real wet in Michigan, yet to hit 60 today. Well I guess I have work to look forward too. LOL

Tom

Been cold yesterday and today - seems like Autumn has come early. :confused3 We had the heating on last night too!:sad2: Never mind, we have this cruise and the rest of the holiday around it to look forward to.

Hope you're all ok.

Heat!!! I dread the thought:scared1: I guess I can live with a little rain. We had some today, and yep, more tommorrow and with the hurricane who knows what the rest of the week will bring. I can't begin to think of turning on the heating yet. Come on cruise, I need some sun.

Tom

Have a question for those that have cruised this time of year before.

How warm/cool is it on the ship especially on the upper decks?
Is it warm enough to swim on Castaway Cay and the ship? How about sun bathing?

I am just trying to figure out what kind of clothes to start thinking about.

Thanks
vickie

That sounds fun. We are doing something for our next year cruise, but hadn't thought about this one!!

How cute. I hadn't even thought about anything like that.

Hi! That sounds like fun and we would enjoy participating too. That would really get the kids and adults :) into the holiday spirit!

Vicki

Hi Marilyn,

I have started organizing some, as in getting my packing list ready and motel stays booked, etc. It's always fun to make out the packing list. My daughter asked me the other day when we could start packing:) The cruise can't get here fast enough. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have you started getting organized?

Vicki

How are things with the new baby? I hope life is becomming more settled for you.

The cruise is on my mind, but at the moment it is the 7 night stay before that is taking up my time. WE are booked at POFQ, but can get the new package code at POR. We have not stayed at POR, but love FQ, so it is a hard decision.

I think clothes for the cruise are ok. I have bought a few new ones in the sales, and of course there isn't a formal night, just dressy, so I don't have to worry about formal wear for the 2 of us. That is a worry for next year's big cruise though!

Hey Vicki,
I think I forgot to wish congrats on the baby! Love the name, can't wait to meet you and your family.

Hi Marilyn,
If you may have seen in my sig, I was forced to switch to the CSR from POFQ, because of the same reason. I'm okay with it though, I really wanted to stay at either. I saved over $200! For me it was well worth the sacrafice.
I have stayed at POR and I liked it. It was not my favorite, but it was still nice. I'm secretly excited about CSR:rotfl:

Okay everyone, lets do the double digit countdown dance!!
 :dance3:
99 Days till the cruise!!

Hi, y'all! We're back from hot, sticky, WONDERFUL Cabo San Lucas. We just love this place. We do absolutely nothing but stumble out of bed, have a bite to eat (breakfast cassaroles are still a hit, even on vacations!), throw on the swimming suit, head down a few steps to the pool, slip into the water and feel it envelope you, turn over and look at the bartender and say: Un margarita en las rocas, con sal, por favor!

Somehow he knew what we wanted! (I really should break open that Rosetta Stone language program!)

I can't believe we're under 100 days from sailing! We're fortunate enough that we were able to book Palo and get a few things taken care of for Castaway Cay (when you see two guys weaving around on bicycles RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!!!!)

I do have a question for any of you who might have done parasailing at CC. At this time it says that it's not available for reservations. Is this something that they only do closer to time as it will depend on weather (think Dorothy's house from the Wizard of Oz)? I do enjoy a nice twirl every now and again, but that would probably shake my rafters.

Also, do you launch from the boat or do they take you up, up, and away from the beach? While in Cabo there were 5 or 6 of us on the boat and they winched you up as the air continued to fill the sail. In Puerto Vallarta we've always seen them put the harness on while standing on the beach and then you see the fool - sorry, customer running down a short expanse of beach once the rope goes tight and UP they go. Coming down in that situation is always amusing to watch because you're never quite sure if the rider remembered which arm he was to yank to come down and many times they come VERY close to beachfront properties, like 6-story hotels!

Any previous parasailers here???

Michael
