please help me!

My dearest friend in life, is a KU GRADUATE. HE is going to see KU Play in Tangerine BOWL in orlando,FL on Dec 22,2003

At this last date, what Can I do to help him with DVC??


Probably OKW?

should i try for a studio,intead of a 1x1 or a 2x2?
more likely to get a cancellation?

should he get a cash reservation at a Marriot property with a 72 hour cancellation?
can I wait list with DVC, hoping for a last minute cancellation? 72 hours?

I wnat to help this family very badly.

or am I totally wasting my time??

You never know until you call. If you are open to any size accomodation -- tell MS that. Anything from a studio to 2 bedroom at any of those resorts. Then tell them you want to go on the wait list as well if there isn't anything. In the meantime, they should also book a "backup" that can be cancelled.

You might try the 407-DISNEY number to check on specials. We got AP rates for those dates. We are staying at BC for $194 including tax, which is 1/2 price. I just called last week to add nights, and had no trouble getting them, so perhaps there are still accommodations available.

I tried for those same days on Thursday for a studio without luck. They did have I think a 1 bedroom for a couple of those days. We ended up using the AP rate and are staying at Port Orleans for $264 for the three nights. We're still going to try to get back into a Villa studio or at least try for AKL or WL but at least we have ressies somewhere.
