Love the Valentine you got! My online Old Navy shopping bag is still stuffed with clothes but I am going to buckle down and make some actual purchases soon. I think the shirt you ordered from Disney is cute! Were you planning on that as your travel day shirt?

I'm not sure about the shirt. To me it seems kind of big so I'm going to let my mom try it on and see if we keep it or not. I'm just afraid that the size down will be too small as it seems that disneystore.com seems to run small sometimes. I just wish the image wasn't the whole darn shirt! I typically wear a hoodie for the travel day anyways so it would be covered so is $28 worth it..I'm not sure

I can't wait to go to Old Navy but I have no clue what I'd buy. My work is very casual so I pretty wear Jeans and Ts to work and capris, shorts, and ts/tasteful tank tops in the summer. I'll have to scope out what's new! I do need new white flip flops..those are a must very year!

great day at Epcot. So which D&B were you eyeing? i love mine, but i want to get another one. I have the sketch tote (courtesy of my mom!, gotta love her!). i want the green sketch letter carrier or i might get a 40th anniv letter carrier. i think that is my splurge next trip.

Thanks!! My mom started it when we were in college. It's nice to have your own spending type money for food or whatever. When I lived in FL it was all food + Target/Walmart (groceries + health/beauty). I guess since I'm currently living back at home, she thought of other things

Thanks!! I have no idea what it was called but it was $200+ and it had like the WDW characters on it. I think the ones I remember seeing were the balloon type bags and princess ones but this had just standard characters and I think it had a zipper. I spend enough on Coach but I get those at the outlet..I wonder if WDW every puts the DB bags on outlet w/weekly 30% coupons like Coach?!

WILL WE EVER GET TO MK?!

Hi Dis Friends!!

I hope everyone had a good week! I'm sooo glad it's the weekend. My kids at school were nuts all week. Between having crappy weather this week = no outside playtime, a bunch of kids coming to school sick, and behavior issue after behavior issue, I was so glad I was only working a 1/2 day Monday and wish I was only working 1/2 days the rest of the week

Hopefully next week will get better!

I go in for blood work tomorrow to check sugar levels and all that jazz. My new MD suggested that everyone do it after they turn 20 so I'm 5, almost 6 years off so oh well. I'll pray I'm like my mom since she has zero sugar issues..my dad on the other hand My appt is at 10:45 so no food/sugar/drinks after 10:45pm. I'm hoping I sleep till at least 9:30 so it will cut down on my awake/hungry time! I hate needles and only had blood work done twice in my live (I'm considered lucky by many) and the first time I nearly passed out, and the 2nd time I cried lol. We'll see how tomorrow goes!

MONDAY DEC 13, 2010 CONT

When I left off, we were frozen and decided to go back to our lovely lodge to thaw out and get ready for dinner and EMH at MK!

When we got back to the room, I was sad to see that we did not get any towel animals that day. I'm almost 100% sure it was not the same mousekeeper as the level of cleaning was not as high as it was the previous days. Oh well. Swimming was out of the question since it was cold out so we explored the gift shop for the millionth time and mom FINALLY got some cold medicine since she was coming down with a for sure sinus infection (which turned into Bronchitis a few days later!).

When we got back to the room, I took some more room view pics!

Bro headed to the study area to do homework, dad sat down by the fireplace, and mom and I began to pack. Dad called to say a music group was performing but by the time we got to the elevators, they were done!

Our plan was to leave by 5 or 6 to get to MK but we left around 7. We were pretty much packed and it took some time to decide how to bundle up and with what!

Boy was I glad I bought the $3 hat at Old Navy and brought it with me!

A bell group was setting up to perform when we were leaving so we didn't get to hear it!

Bro and I took our famous pic that we take every stay at WL. I think our total count is 7 pics now from years 2000, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010.

This by far is the worst one!!!!!

This was the one from last year..much better IMO!

After taking the famous resort pic, we headed out towards the bus for MK. There would be no boat that night..too cold for us!!

When we got to MK, we decided to ride JC since we could never remember if it was open for EMH. After that we stopped to debate:

Columbia Harbour House
or
PVH

I deep down wanted CHH. It is my fav CS restaurant in MK and we had not eaten there in a while. Everyone else wanted PVH so instead of being the odd ball and eating alone or walking food to PVH, I caved and went for PVH.

We were in a rush since the fireworks were about to start in 20 so we ordered. Mom, Dad, and Bro got pizza. Not me though, I'm not really a pizza fan. I went with the chicken parm which ended up having wayy too much sauce. I'm not a sauce girl either. I ate a few bites + bread sticks that I ordered and paid for OOP and we all got some strawberry dessert thing which I didn't care for either so PVH was an epic fail for me!

We finished as the fireworks began and everyone rushed out to watch. I told my rents/bro to stand right outside the restaurant since they had never seen them from behind the castle before....

Would they like the view from behind the castle??!!!

You will have so much fun!!!! We've stayed 7 times now and loved every time!

That is good too! It always seems that our DME stuff always gets messed up, even when we add it online when we book but this time it was spot on, FINALLY!!

It took me a few minutes to figure out what PVH was, but I did it! I don't think I've ever eaten there - at least not in a very very long time. Looks like I don't need to worry about it though! Sorry about your icky dinner! I hate when that happens. I love pizza but I have to be in the mood for it, and I'm with you on the sauce thing. A little goes a long way.

As I'm typing this, you are probably at the dr., so I'm thinking good thoughts that it is pain free and the results are good! If you are overdue, I'm 10 years overdue It'd be nice if my dr's reminded me of these things when I go when I'm sick

It is really really cool! I took my parents to the cast parking lot the one time to let them see the fireworks from back there. It's a non-restricted area since you are a 1/2 mile away from MK but they really enjoyed the show from back there and you can kind of hear the music from MK but you can hear all the car alarms too!!

And I'm dreading March because it's like, the last of the winter months before spring gets here and it always drags.

How were your blood tests, did you get your results? I'm so afraid to get everything tested, that's why I keep putting it off. Not the best strategy, I know, but I figure I'll lose some weight first and then maybe things won't be so bad!

I'm going to update later I think but the blood test went fine. It was just a pinch but let me tell you, my arm was sooo sore and achy by that night, it took 3 IBP to finally knock me out. It seems better today and I know they say you should use your arm after or it will be sore so I'm not sure if I didn't use it enough or what?!

I don't know the results, but I'm pretty sure they checked for sugar, high blood pressure, and cholesterol all of which my dad has (except sugar but his mom has that problem!) so we'll see if I'm doomed or if I follow after my mom!

HAPPY SUNDAY DIS FRIENDS!!!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I hate how weekends fly by I'm praying that my kiddos will have a better week. With our weather in the 50s, 60s, and some high 40s, it looks like we'll have a lot of outside playtime!!

I keep telling myself that after this week, it will fly by. Next week, I'm taking a 1/2 day on the 11th to drive to Pittsburgh for my Praxis on the 12th. I'll get home on the 12th, work the 14th, 15th, 16th, and 1/2 day on the 17th because it will be Disney Day!!!

The blood work went well yesterday. It was just a pinch and that was it! I couldn't believe how quick it went and we were in and out within 5 mins! My arm wasn't too bad until last night and then it ached and the same again tonight. After 3 Ibuprofen, I finally fell asleep just after 3am! After we left the dr office, we went for a late breakfast at IHOP. Of course by that point I'm like low on sugar, my arm has been violated, and I'm starving after my last meal at 8:30pm and now it was 12pm. Just my luck, the server messes up my pancakes, trys to fix the situation by giving me blueberries on the side which were supposed to be inside, finally takes it away and brings back new ones with the blueberries inside without an apology..go figure.

I found out on Tues that I have to have surgery to remove my tonsils and adenoids..I'm sure some of you read that on FB! The anesthesia scares me the most to be honest! I was told I'd be off work for 2 weeks and on a liquid diet too so I'm hoping that will help the weight loss but according to reports I read online, most people gain their weight back grr!! figures!

Oh well, time for some Disney March Trip news!!

I got this in the mail the past week! I've had my AP since late Oct but never got my Mickey Monitor but this past week, it finally came with some surprises!

THE BEST SURPRISE OF ALL!!!

I got a drawing like this done for my brothers bachelors graduation and my college roomie's masters graduation with the custom frames. They were like $50 each but I still had my CM discounts so I didn't pay that much! I'll have to put this in a frame!

I already read MM online but it was nice to finally get it in the mail!!

SHOPPING SHOPPING AND SHOPPING!!!!


My mom and I went on a shopping spree today!

I had no intentions of spending $68 on tanning but it happened. I might cancel it after a month, especially with having to have surgery but I figured it can give me some color before we go to FL so I don't fry! I also washed and vacuumed my car and got some healthy/beauty supplies at the grocery store!

I had no intentions of buying as much as I bought but oh well! My mom convinced me that a VB mini hipster would be a great addition to my VB collection and to use it traveling. I caved. We went to the VB store. The lady said that 3 patterns would be going on sale Friday and to wait if I wanted one of the patterns. I didn't but for nearly $12 off, I'll take one of the sale patterns. I also wanted a small wallet to put in the mini hipster and came away with this sale item:

It's more or less a fancy change purse but with just a few CC in it plus some cash, it will be fine for traveling to WDW! My mom is going to go back to the VB on Friday to get the mini hipster for me since she's a SAHM now

Then we went to the mall. I got a bday gift card from VS to use so I got some new items for the trip! My mom always says when you go on a trip, it's totally okay and necessary to buy new undies and shoes!

Finally we stopped at Old Navy...that is where it all went south. I was there to look at some pants and get flip flops..$168 later

I got a shirt wear for St Patty's day, $5!

When I got home, I started matching up outfits. Some of the bottoms, I already had!

This is the outfit that I'm not sure about. I hate hate hate matching with green and brown shorts but let me know if you think it looks okay!

That finally ended the shopping spree day!!

I was reading reports on Dis about getting your hair in corn rows at the resort Salons. I thought that would be something cool to do on my birthday before our CM ADR at 10:35. I'd do a 1/2 head so it shouldn't take more than a 1/2 hour I would think. I did read that the bands they use are not so great so I went to Sallys and bought my own just in case!!
(pure rubber bands, not the ouchless ones)

That's pretty much it! I know I've been saying I'd post Mousekeeping Envelopes but other things have come up but for sure next weekend I'll be posting about that and hopefully have good news about Cirque Tix and a hair appt!!!!

Man, Old Navy just sucks you in, doesn't it? I have the same problem. I go in there to buy one thing, maybe two, then come out with two bags full of stuff.

However, I have to admit that I love having new things when I go on vacation.
