Dec '10 TR:I Will Not Stop Stalking ADRs Until I Get To WDW!(MARCH TR LINK) 3/26

Gosh, I was so far behind, but I'm caught up on the March trip and will get caught up with December. How exciting for you to go to POFQ! I absolutely love that resort--it's so nice and quaint!

Man, Old Navy just sucks you in, doesn't it? I have the same problem. I go in there to buy one thing, maybe two, then come out with two bags full of stuff.

However, I have to admit that I love having new things when I go on vacation. :rolleyes1

I agree! I went to empty the basket I had started online since I just bought all the stuff in the store lol. The only thing I wish they had but didn't was navy flip flops. I guess I could have looked at the Mens but I didn't!

I love new things too!

I'm starting to read yours now too! I think the last one that I was sub'ed to was your solo trip and that got trashed so now with the show again!

love that mickey drawing :wizard:

What a bunch of great stuff you got

I do like the green and brown combo. Looks fine in my book :thumbsup2

I was at Old Navy a couple weeks ago and I thought they had really cute summer clothes out. I didn't buy anything for me, but I did get quite a lot for my boys. I like the green and brown outfit, as well.

Oh and the VB looks very handy for WDW tickets and things. Looks like a very successful day of shopping!

Yay for finally getting your Mickey Monitor! I got that little picture too. It's really cute.

Looks like you got some good finds on your shopping spree.

Your trip really is coming up fast now!

Great update! I love shopping for trips - sometimes, I think its half the fun. Looks like you got some good things at Old Navy! Is that a white tank with the green and brown shorts? I think it looks fine, although I agree about matching things with brown. Even though I know it matches, it never seems to look right to me :confused3 Funny I don't feel that way about black.

Hope you get good results from the doctor. Glad it wasn't as bad as you thought it'd be! And hoping your kiddos are having a good week at school - happy kids = happy teacher!

Thanks!! I have no idea what it was called but it was $200+ and it had like the WDW characters on it. I think the ones I remember seeing were the balloon type bags and princess ones but this had just standard characters and I think it had a zipper. I spend enough on Coach but I get those at the outlet..I wonder if WDW every puts the DB bags on outlet w/weekly 30% coupons like Coach?! :rotfl:

I think this was the bag but I'm not sure..http://www.disneystore.com/bags-tot...oney-bourke-large/mp/1264549/1000291+1000765/
i know wouldn't it be great if they had a big sale on the D&Bs? I guess they are selling so well at full price, they don't have to give any discounts!:rotfl:

love your pics of the view from the room, what an amazing view. i just love the WL at Christmas- the lobby is bustling and full of holiday spirit! :santa: can't wait to hear how the view of the fireworks from the back of the castle were, i've never seen them from there.

so glad the bloodwork was easy. i used to hate needles too, but i've gotten used to them- heck, i had to give myself shots every night (3 different ones) while going through fertilty treatments. DH had to give me one my butt each night too- a 1.5 inch needle- now that one hurt!! i had to ice the area down to numb it first each night. so needless to say, a little needle no longer scares me. :rotfl: So sorry on the tonsils surgery- but it is pretty standard and i am sure you will do just fine!!!

yeah for the MM- i got mine too! love all the new stuff- i also am an Old Navy fan, but i haven't been in a while. i am trying to lose some weight before i buy anything else clothes wise. i put on like 15 lbs after our 2009 dec trip and haven't lost it yet. i am getting serious about working out and watching what I eat (I don't 'diet', since i know it is a lifestyle change, not just a temporary fix). hopefully i can drop the weight fast and get out shopping again!!! heck, just being able to wear some of my current clothes that are tight would be nice. :lmao:

I've missed it somewhere, what are you having surgery for?
I think your totem pole picture is cute.
I love your VB pictures. You had a awesome shopping spree!
Your post reminded me that I need to get some white tanks before they are all gone.

Ooh love all the stuff you bought at Old Navy! I love that store, they have a tee shirt that I've been meaning to get with stars on it (I love anything with stars!) and I keep forgetting to go back, and now I'm sure it's probably gone. :( I really need to do some shopping soon, they have really cute capris out right now!:thumbsup2

And the VB coin purse is adorable, I love that pattern!

Thanks for sharing the Mickey Monitor stuff! The entire time I was a AP holder I never got one! Maybe they don't mail them outside the U.S? :confused3 Awesome drawing too! You really scored!

Love the shopping photos!!! Old Navy is realllllly easy to spend lots of money at. I just got back from a mini-shopping spree myself. Those outlet malls are evil!!!! But the prices are right so what can ya do.

In my earlier reply, I completely forgot to mention your surgery! That really stinks! When are you going to be having it done?

I fractured my ankle - bad - in high school and had to have surgery the following morning. I kept telling my mom I was nervous about the "amnesia" :confused3 Clearly the meds they gave me that night were doing their job  What I was actually nervous about was the anesthesia, waking up in the middle  Turns out I had nothing at all to be worried about. My mom gave me a kiss, they wheeled me into "prep", put a cap on my head, shot some stuff into my IV and started wheeling my into the OR. I was out before I even got to the door  6 months later I had to have one of my screws taken out (of my ankle ;)) and I was laying on the table and they asked me what high school I went to. It's a 2 name high school and I only managed to get out one word. So, I'm sure you will do great when the time comes! Enjoy the pain meds and the soft, liquid food.

I was so happy! It made me think of you when I opened it since you posted yours!! Can't wait to start packing!

I did! They called and left a VM saying everything came back normal! I thought they would at least tell me what the levels were for everything to know but I guess if it were a borderline concern then they would have but said everything was fine and call back if I had any questions. :thumbsup2

Thanks! I was trying the whole weight thing too but I figured even if I lose some, I'll just throw everything in the dryer and our dryer seems to be really good about shrinking things :rolleyes1 Good luck with the weight! I've been going to the gym and trying to watch what I eat. Lunch is the hardest because I always seem to be hungry even though I eat the same lunch with the kids but my flaw is the bad snacks that I chose when I got out with another teacher! Today I brought some pretzels and got a drink which made me feel good! :thumbsup2

My tonsils and adenoids yuck!

Surgery is on April 14th! They said right now it's at 9am but it could be earlier or later depending on other patients since it goes by age..younger kids go earlier in the morning due to the fasting..yuck!:sad2:

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?! HOW HAVE I MISSED THIS?!?!?!?! :scared1:

I guess it's because you started while I was still at Disney. I completely missed this TR! I feel terrible!!!

Yay for going in March! I am going back to do some major catching up!

Good thing for chapters right?! I love love love when people have chapters esp. if I come late or miss a bunch of updates! Enjoy!!!!

2 WEEKS TO GO!!!

HAPPY THURSDAY DIS FRIENDS!!!

A SHOUT-OUT TO MY BROTHER...

HAPPY 24TH BIRTHDAY TO HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe how old we're getting, geez!! He would always tease me when we were little because for 16 days he's only a year younger than me :rotfl: My mom always felt bad when we would open gifts so whoevers birthday it was, the other would get a sticker book for something to do while the other played with new toys/games :)

IN OTHER NEWS...2 WEEKS TILL THE TRIP!!!!!!!!!!

Not much to update on. I haven't had a chance to call for the hair braiding but I will maybe tomorrow after work or on my lunch. Bro got his schedule from Universal and is off Thurs, Fri, and works a morning 8 hour shift so he'll join us at Ohana. I asked if he'd like to see the 6pm Cirque and he said ya so I guess we'll call about that this weekend. I'm not sure if I want to chance getting tix when we get there with it being Sat, 6pm, and spring breaks.
I'm also excited because this means we won't have to take DME to the resort. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against DME but you're all hyped up and then sit on a bus for 30+ mins before it pulls out and then make several stops till you get to the resort. It will be nice to get in and go!
I'm guessing he'll join us at the parks on Friday since he's off. "Everyone's fav choco shop at DTD" gave him some comp tix till they find out if he needs to do traditions to get his ID or if they will sign off on it since he took it in Aug for the CP. If that's the case, it looks like we'll be getting some more endless/waitless rides on TT at Epcot :rotfl:

In other news..I got my surgery date for April 14th. I'll be off 2+ weeks from work which I hear is a smart idea especially when you are a teacher!

My Praxis test is next weekend!!! I'll be studying hard core this weekend!

Other than that, that's it for now! I'll be back this weekend to update the TR and PTR with MOUSEKEEPING ENVELOPES!!!

STAY TUNED!!!!!!!

*****EDIT: I went online to check out what Cirque tix they were showing (seats) and the only thing they keep showing me is section 204 (middle section) but the very last row. They are $65 each with my AP and I know that the theatre is small but is the back row still worth it?! We saw a cirque in Pittsburgh last year and we were in a balcony area and couldn't really see a thing. I know this is different but all the other times I went, we were in the lower section a few rows from the stage. If I call and all they offer me is LL section 204, is it going to be worth the $65 or wait till another trip??!!

Good luck on the Praxis! Study hard. You'll be fine. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. :thumbsup2

Two weeks! Where is the time going? You must be siked though. You better get packing!

2 WEEKS?!?!? Are you packed yet, girlie?

I wish! Normally I would be or at least have a packing list made up but with my test, my bribe is to take the test and then make the packing list! I figure, when I get back next Sat night, I'll still have Sun, Mon, Tues, and Wed to get things put together. In Dec, I packed the night before which was :scared1:. I won't do that again!

Good luck on the Praxis! Study hard. You'll be fine. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. :thumbsup2

Thanks! 9th time is a charm?! After this one, I'll take it on computer in Cincinnati. I guess since Oct, I could have taken it on a computer but failed to read those details! I'm having lunch with my college roomie after the test next week (in Pittsburgh) so at least I'll see her since it's been since Sept/her wedding! After this one though, if I do fail, it will be nice knowing I can take it every 30 days here in Cincinnati on computer and get the results right away (and won't have to travel 5 hours + hotel + gas+ food to take it)! 166 is all I need!!!!!!!

No, not packed, not even a list...no color codes, no crazy fonts, no nothing. It will be my gift to myself when my test is over but I WILL NOT PACK THE NIGHT BEFORE! March weather is way better than Dec. Shorts and Ts/Tanks will be fine and since I'm not wearing much of that now, it will be easy to pack!

I've also been tanning too so hopefully no sunburns :rolleyes1

2 weeks so exciting :cool1:

happy bday to your brother :wizard:

That is awesome you can take the test online

However, hoping you won't have to :thumbsup2

Good luck :goodvibes
