Dec 1, 2005 Wonder Cruise?

Yes, I am trying to get Cindy's for breakfast or lunch. Also, I am going to try to get the new pirate cruise that leaves from the Yacht Club.

I have had Crystal Palace for breakfast and the food is good. We had dinner at Chef Mickey's before and really enjoyed it too. I don't think you could go wrong with either choice.

We are also going to try for O'hanas--we have never been there and it seems like it will be a lot of fun.

DU is our TA as well and Merrie will be trying to get our ADRs too, but I thought I should try for the tough ones too and just cancel if we happen to get two.

Hi all~

Well, I got all of the ADRs I wanted--I got CRT for Lunch (2nd choice), the CM told me to call back tomorrow and there might be an opening since they only release a small amount of reservations ahead of time.

Pixie dust to my fellow cruisers...I hope you all get the ADRs that you want. :wizard:

Did anyone's rates go down this week? I just rechecked our cruise dates to see if there were still rooms available (there are quite a few) and our category 4 has dropped about $85. I just emailed my TA to see if we can get in on that. It's not much, but hey - I'll take an extra $85 off this pricey trip :)

I did see also that the early dining time is no longer available. So, I figure the cruise isn't that lightly booked either.

Anyway, hope everyone's plans are going well. Making my ADRs tomorrow morning for the land portion - hoping to get everything I want!

I booked directly through Disney, so I guess I can't get the lower rate. We have main dining time 6pm, but I had heard that they were staggering times for dinner as a pilot. Does anyone know if they are still doing that? If so, when will we know what time our dinner will be scheduled. I did note, that there were some rooms left....I wouldn't mind not having a sold out ship.

Good luck on your ADRs, I still have to try to book the pirate cruise on Thursday.

My TA is looking into it on Monday when she gets off her hurricane cruise. I would imagine that a call to Disney reservations would be a way. Again, it's not much. $85 from our almost $5000 vacation is not a ton of money.

Good luck booking the pirate cruise!

As for the dining times I saw that for one restaurant we will eat at 6pm, 6:15 at the next and like 6:30 the last. Or some variation of that. I guess they are trying to have less crowding in the walkways with all 3 restaurants opening at 6 or 8:30.

Hope the food is good this time around. We liked it alot last trip! Not gourmet, but we wouldn't have liked that anyway. Just good, upper class restaurant good.

How did you find out the exact times of your dining? My confirmation sheet only says main dining seating.

Yea, $85 from an almost 5,000 trip isn't much...but hey every little bit helps.

Thanks.

Actually, I got the dining info from some other posts and threads. I'm not sure what will happen when we get there, but it seems they are using 15 minute intervals for opening the 3 restaurants. We have main dining also. Last time we didn't find our rotation until we got into our stateroom. There were tickets on the dresser for each night's dinner. We presented them when we entered the dining room each night.

I LOVE going "out to eat" every night on the ship! I'm so looking forward to making it to dinner each night as last time we didn't make it 2 of the nights because of stomach issues and the kid's falling asleep (we booked late so we had the late seating).

OK ADRs were all available. We are set! However, I called for the fantasmic package for 11/28 and the only dinner time I could get at Brown Derby was 3:30pm. I'll keep trying for a later time, but this is also our Boma breakfast day so hopefully we can get by with just the 2 meals.

Good luck to everyone else!

Yea, good for you. I am glad you got what you wanted. Hopefully a later time will open up for you later on.

We got all of our ADRs too, with CRT for lunch instead of breakfast. Both the TA and myself will be calling for breakfast on our "real" 90 day mark to try again for breakfast. MD.

I didn't notice a cheaper rate --

Was hoping the disney cruise line place had a cheaper price than what we paid, but it looks to be more expensive. If they do go lower then I'll send my DU TA a quick email. We paid 3,515 for the following (includes an instant $100 DU rebate), here's what www.dcl.com charges for the same:

November 27-December 4, 2005
(Ship: Disney Wonder)
Stateroom: 2 Adults and 2 Children (Ages 5 and 7)
Total Price: $ 3,755.52

It's a four day land, 3 day sea--CAT 6 at Poly.

I've also placed the remainder of the bill on my Disney Visa. OUCH! But at least we get six months to pay if off with no interest. Now if only the silly cruise ressie dates would come so I can book that rasul bath! We're probably going to forgo Palo's.

We're in the process of getting dinner/breakfast ressies at WDW; wish me luck :)

Well, I have to apologize for thinking the prices went down. I was under the impression that I paid $4997 and then saw it was $4913. Actually we paid $4773 so the prices did go up. Please excuse my brain fade - it's been hot here!! :sunny:

Anyway, I'm glad we got the ADRs done with.

Good luck Ms. Ferret on your ADRs and your rasul bath - that one sounds like fun!!

We are probably lower on spending money than anticipated for the cruise so there will not be many extras for us, but I will enjoy hearing of your experience (if it's not too hot to share :teeth: ).

Happy planning all!!

Good luck on your ADRs FFeret. I have one more to schedule on Thursday.

Anyone care to share where they are making some of their ADRs? I am always curious to see where others make their reservations.

Well, we're usually just doing TS once a day.

We will have dinner at Marrakesh, Cinderella's Castle, Ohana's and Brown Derby. We will do Boma for breakfast once, and Crystal Palace on the morning of the cruise. For CS we will visit Pizza Planet, Cosmic Rays and the fish & chips stand at Epcot. I'm going to try for breakfast in the room or, if I get lazy, from The Mara foodcourt.

I think that is it. Anyone else care to share?

For TS : CRT, O'Hanas, Liberty Tree Tavern, Chef Mickey's, Hollywood & Vine and Cape May Breakfast on the morning we leave.

For CS: I am not sure all of them, but plan on : Beaches and Cream, Earl of Sandwich, Flame Tree Barb- b-que'

we will probably just see what happens for the rest. We are not big breakfast eaters, so will probably just grab something quick in the mornings.

We are doing: CRT Breakfast (tue), O'hana Dinner(sat), Crystal Palace Dinner(sun), Chefs D'France Dinner(tue), Mama Melrose Lunch(mon), Brown Derby Dinner(mon), Teppanyaki Dinner (wed) and Cape May Breakfast (thur).

I managed to get two CRT breakfasts and one CRT Lunch, so I will be cancelling a 935 breakfast on 11/29 and a 110 lunch on 11/29. If anyone is interested in snagging these let me know and we can coordinate.

MD.

Now, if they would just release park hours for Nov we'll be in business. Maybe next week!

Yes, the final piece....park hours....come on park hours.

deez1966: I tried to get CRT lunch for 11/29 today and was unable to get it. Are you still cancelling your 1:10 CRT lunch for that day?
