Dec 1, 2005 Wonder Cruise?

Unfortunately, no Walmart near here! I think the lowest I've seen here is about $2.35. In the past 3 days we've traveled about 5 miles though!! I'm stayin' put! Saving up for some of those umbrella drinks!!!

Wow--I can't imagine a place without Wallyworld. Sounds like a little slice of heaven :)

We spent a getaway from the kids night two weeks ago on the Riverwalk in San Antonio--Walked forever (did the entire loop) trying to find a place just to get a cocktail. Ended up giving up and going to bed early at the hotel. That's the last time we travel without a bottle of Johnnie Walker Red. We'll definitely have one packed for the Wonder pirate:

LOL - I don't think many think of Staten Island as a "slice of heaven." It's fine for us though. We don't have many chain stores, but go figure we have 2 home depots! :confused3 No Target, Walmart, etc. Have to go over the bridge to NJ for that.

Sorry you couldn't find a drink! One thing I know for sure - there are plenty on board the Wonder!!!!!

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc We're paid up! Now, I'm really excited because there's not a chance we are cancelling (well, due to lack of funds anyway)!!! My sister was visiting for a few days too so we have been talking about our trip non-stop for the past 3 days.

Can't wait to sail with you guys!!!

I'm getting pretty stoked too :)
I just saw that Frederick's of Hollywood has their Pirate Costume marked down to 19 from 54 and I'm having a hard time restraining myself... Save the money for the cruise, save the money for the cruise....

I wanted to ask you if you've seen War of the Worlds? I LOVE that bridge in it--I was thinking it's just something Spielberg came up with for special effects, but apparently it's real (Boyanne bridge or something like that). I was talking to Mr. FFerret about it and he said he'd hate to have that in his backyard. I think it's gorgeous (and, no, I don't have this weird thing for bridges :) )

A Fredericks of Hollywood costume huh?? Now, at least I know there will be some FUN people on this ship! :teeth: I now have to save for the spending $$ - YIKES!

I did not see War of the Worlds yet nor did I hear that they used the Bayonne Bridge in it. We just went over it today. I cannot see it from my backyard thank goodness, but if you stand in the middle of the street in front of my house, crane your neck above the trees, and the sky is clear, we can see part of the top of the Verrazzano ;) . I will have to go pick up a bootleg of the movie this weekend (since we cannot afford to go to the movie) and check it out - I'll let you know!!

K

P.S. No flaming on the bootleg please, I've only purchased 2 in my lifetime :goodvibes

Ack--do NOT get the recent DVD version with C thomas howell--we saw it last night and the stench still lingers... The Spielberg production with Tom Cruise is the one with the bridge. Truly outstanding flick--don't let your little ones near it though. It's still on the big screen so it'll be probably around Christmas when the DVD comes out. I know what I'm asking Santa :cool1:

YIKES!!! Although, may I say congrats on having enough to be charged 5 times ;) .

I hope you get this all worked out soon. That happened to us once before although not with Disney, it was with the company we used in January for a timeshare package. Ate up alot of my $$ until it was cleared.

Well, I finally had the payment issue cleared up yesterday. I think I will wait to the weekend and make my final payment.....that will fill great.

I can't believe we are in double digits!!!

I can start making my ADRs on Saturday...that makes it seem more real.

Congrats PixiePop!!! I didn't even realize we were in the double digits already. I start my ADRs on Sunday I think. I have to double check. Are you also checking in on the 27th? My TA gave me 9/28 as the ADR date.

Getting excited!!

We are actually arriving on the 25th and will be staying at POFQ before moving to the Beach Club on the 27th. I just realized the other day that we are in double digits......I am getting so excited!!

Gotcha! We also arrive on the 25th but will be offsite until the 27th. I can't wait to make my ADRs!

We arrive on the 25th as well, 2 days at Pop then off to the Beach Club on the 27th. I just paid the cruise bill, ordered our MVMCP party tickets, we have the CP package purchased and will be up at 655 to make adrs on Saturday! MD.

Woohoo! Double digits!

happy ferret dance

We're coming in the the 27th as well--ASM hopefully by late Sat afternoon. Poly on Sunday.

****

Just saw on Fox News that Nassau recently got soaked with 3 FEET of rain!!!!!!!!

Here's to our cruise leaving the frist day of hurricane OFF season :)

Today Mr. FFerret's confirming with the boss that we do indeed get the days off for our vacation; tomorrow I'm getting the Visa out :)

I will be up at 6:55 with you......hopefully we will both get the ADRs that we want!!

Good Luck :cool1:

Are you doing it so early because you want breakfast in the Castle? I don't think I'll be dialing that early, but my ADRs aren't really in the most popular places so I'm hoping I'll be OK.

Is anyone doing any character meals? I need advice on one for the last breakfast before we cruise. I'm thinking Crystal Palace, but we will be having dinner there before MMVMCP. Maybe Chef Mickeys?

We're going to do Chef Mickey's on our Epcot Day for breakfast--hmmm--think that's the 29th. Also Crystal Palace on MK day--Wednesday. Probably for lunch if there's a big difference in monies compared to dinner. Haven't eaten in either before and am looking forward to it. Also Ohana's on Monday night :)

Not planning on doing the MVMCP just because of the extra it'll cost, but we do plan on taking advantage of the other parks the MVMCP nights--hopefully it'll keep the crowd level down.

I wasn't going to even attempt the Cinderella breakfast madness again, but since we have DU for our TAs I think I'll take advantage and see if Jason can find us a slot :) To all my fellow cruisers hoping for bfast with Cindy I'm sending y'all best wishes and pixie dust!!!!!
