Dec 09 PTR The Molecular change is in full swing. pg40 the pink puppy

Oh my goodness!!!! Ty, this was totally divine intervention!!! It's times like there when you know that there is someone up there looking over you. I am so glad that your brother is okay. I know you feel guilty because there are other families out there suffering, but you can't feel like that. God knows that your thoughts and prayers are with those that are having a hard time. I'm not an overly religious person, but I do believe in a higher power. I think that's what really helps during the hard times and lets you be grateful for what you have in times like this.

So strange, I have been thinking of you all weekend. I've been super busy, lol I never have any plans and last week I had something to do like every night. Friday I went out with my girlfriends and to my surprise I had some wonderful mail waiting for me!!! Mickey mail and Ty mail!!!! Thank you so much, it was a wonderful surprise. And let me tell you, your Reese is one very talented little girl!! Well I guess she's a young lady :) What a powerful voice, even when she was sick!! Both of your children are talented! And I LOVE my shirt!!! Now I have to figure out what day I want to wear it. Maybe my second DHS day!!!

Again I am so glad to hear that your brother is safe and thank you, thank you, thank you for my shirt!!!

Ty!!! I was a bit behind over here too! I want to give you a great big hug and say how happy I am for you that your brother is safe!

I have a brother but no sisters. My DH has a brother and two sisters. So, when we started dating and spending a lot of time together, his sisters became the sisters I never had. DH is the oldest, so they were my baby sisters. Well, four years ago this past August, the older of the two sisters was killed in a car accident. She was the only car in the accident. It felt like someone took my heart, ripped it out of my chest and stomped all over it! So, I can imagine how you felt with the THOUGHT of possibly losing your brother. Jessie was 23 years old. It is so hard and such a shame! It was a terrible experience for my kids. The youngest was only a year old so he will only ever know her from what we tell him. The older two were very close to her and had a very hard time dealing with it. I talked to her the day of the incident and she had asked me if she could pick all three of the kids up and spend the day with them. I was thrilled to have an afternoon to myself and of course said yes. I often think about the fact that had it been about 15 hours later, my three kids would have been in the car with her. They may have survived, but the image they would have been left with would be horrible. Anyway, sorry for the hijack, just wanted to let you know that I understand your feelings and you have no need to feel guilty! Hug and love your siblings whenever you can!!!!

As for the dog...that's pretty funny! Hugh Hefner's girlfriends just did that to their dogs on the Grils Next Door!!! LOL Pretty funny!

If the planning cd gets here in the same amount of time as the travel docs we are all waiting for, you'll get it next year!!! LOL

TY, she's pink, That is hysterical!!!! I would kill my son if he dyed my dogs. Himself ,,, Okay my dog never. I can't wait to hear the comments when you walk her. How can I get a vid of the kid rockin I'm a rocker girl at heart and would love to hear them. Very cool.

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: OMG!!! I would have heart failure if someone did that to spikey! I can kinda see the funny side like you said 'cartoon dog' but the poor little cutie!!! and poor you, although, taking her for a walk will be quite amusing with everyone looking at her
The pink is starting to grow on me, but I haven't takwn her for a walk yet, I had her outside when the mailman came and I quickly picked her up and put her in the house, I'm just not ready to have a conversation about my pink dog.

Hi Ty! :wave2:
I followed you over here from DizneyDawnz PTR. I just subscribed and I loooove your story at the begining about Marzi. :cloud9: So sweet! Like your name, we also have a Ty in our house, but he's my son, not a girl. Did your mom really name you Ty?
I especially love that your mom is a specialist in fart songs, she and my DH would get along swimmingly, he's a fart song extraordinar, shoot he's a anything song extraordinar for that matter, he makes up songs for just about anthing! :rotfl: We call him Mr. Incredible....well, because he looks like Mr. Incredible and, well, he is Mr. Incredible. He even drives a little blue car that he practically has to unfold out of,(he's 6'5-250 lbs.) he calls the car the "Turd Azul."
Can't wait to catch up on your report. By the way, you dont look old enough to have teens, and your one year younger than I am! Sheesh! Where's the justice! See you here and over at Dawnz. :thumbsup2 Gotta go read!
Hi Millie, welcome, my PTR isn't as funny as DisneyDawnz but there's always alot to talk about here. thanks for coming over and reading.
I've never thought of my mom as a fart song specialist, more like a fart song wierdo, but I'm sure she will appreciate the proffesional title. Knowing her it will go to her head though, she'll probably have business cards made up for herself.
Ty is just my nickname, My brother couldn't say Tracy, he always called me Ty and it stuck.
YOur DH is 6'5? that's alot of man to love on, wow I guess Mr Incredible is a suiting name, I call my DH Gus Gus, cause he has a tummy like Gus Gus does, he hates the name.
Turd Azul:lmao: We went through a financial set back about 12 years ago, Kent had to get rid of his truck, he came home with this little red car, we named it the princess car, it was so girly, I felt bad teasing him about it, I mean he got rid of his truck to ensure our families survivial, but really a bicycle would have been more manly then the car he came home in. I'm glad to say we only had the princess car for about a year,he finally got a bigger then necessary truck, He had to rebuild his testosterone level.

I totally agree with you, it was divine intervention, Matt said God didn't want him yet, I said
No, God still needs you on earth, we all do."
Hurray for Mickeymail, I want Mickeymail, still waiting....
I'm happy you liked the shirt, I painted one for me and I thought my fellow Kermit lover needed one too. It was fun making it.
Thank you for the compliment about my kids, I am so proud of them, neither their father or I am musically talented, I can't sing and the only instrument I ever played was the clarinet, my mom sings and plays guitar so I usually give her the credit, her mother also sings, she used to sing on the radio back in the day, the music talent gene skipped a generation, my sis Bo and I got nothing, we were jipped.

I am so sorry about your sister, that is so awful. And yea, it is scary to think your kids could have been with her. Every time I pass an accident my brain starts going nuts with things like If I hadn't stopped to get that ice coffee it could have been me, I realize that God works in mysterious ways, but sometimes I wonder why things like that have to happen at all.

I quit watching the girls next door after Holly, Bridget and Kendra left, it's just not the same anymore. But anyway, I think they can get away with a pink dog in Ca, here in Broguevill, not so much.

Very cool.
Reese came home with the pink dye about 2 months ago, I wouldn't let her dye her hair, so I don't know if this was payback, or her not wanting the dye to go to waste.
If you'd like a DVD of the kids, just send me a PM with your address and I will send you one.

That is one foxy pink dog!
Ya know Falula kind of has a little extra pep in her step now, she thinks she's sexy I'm sure.

This is the time of year that UPS delivers packages to my house. I get so excited each time another box of Christmas presents show up, today I thought was the beginning of that. I heard the UPS truck and I got all excited. I run out to meet him, he hands me a box, and it stinks. I look at the label, it's from the trapping company Kent orderds from. I left the box on the porch and came in the house. "Merry Christmas Kent, your pee in a bottle came today." Never in my life had I seen someone so excited over pee in a bottle. "Don't open that in the house dude.!" so he runs out to his shop, his box full of bottled pee in hand.
Kent calls it lure, you spray it around the set of your trap. so I ask him what lure is made of, and he tells me, urine. So I am right it's bottle pee, you can call it what you want, bottom lineis you just paid money for a bottleof pee. This particular bottle was fox pee, he has other bottle of animal pee too, raccoon pee has the worst smell, I made the mistake of being in his shop when he opened a bottle. I dry heaved.

What gets me is I am ridiculed about my love for Disney, everytime a day passes and I don't get my Mickey Mail, the family humms the funeral march in total mockery of me. I get all kinds of excited when my new DIsney stickers come in the mail, or I happen to get a new Disney shirt, jammies, watch, jibbit. They laugh at me, they call me wierd. But it's totally acceptable for Kent to to skip with glee when his bottle of pee shows up.

Anyway, that wasn't what I wanted to talk about in this post, (or any post really)
I have started decorating for Christmas, Kent said it was too soon, and it is, I normally would start until the week before thanksgiving, it's always been a tradition in our family growing up to have the house all Christmasy for Thanksgiving, My Dad loved it to look festive while we ate Turkey, and he wanted the tree to stay up until after the New Year. I have kept that tradition for my family.
Now in Kents family, the tree would go up a few days before Christmas, and they might even finish decorating it before Christmas day, it was never a big deal, they enjoyed Christmas and family, food, presents, but decorations weren't that important to them.
So Kent and I have to a compromise for my early decorating this year. I can only do one room for now, so I chose his room, the redroom, the study, the cabin room, The room of death, it has many names. I chose this room because being so early in the season it's the room I can get away with the most. I decorated the 8and1/2 foot tree in simple country, basically bows I made from left over material from Reese's pipi longstocking costume, rusty bells, red berries and pine cones. It's Christmas, but rustic, that way not screaming Christmas but just giving our minds the idea that's it's Christmas.
xmas003.jpg

I wish you could see the twinkle lights, also one of my favorite decorations is the german sled my Dad gave me years ago, he also gave me the snow shoes on the wall, he is always looking for old rustic things for this room for me, he's an awesome Dad

xmas004.jpg

In this picture you can see why I call it the room of death, kent hopes to add a bobcat to the wall this year.
I love this room, it's very cozy in the winter, this is also the room that has our woodstove, we were trying to make it look like a trappers cabin, I think I need to paint the ceiling, or something. It looks like the walls are wood, but really that's a paint job, I love faux finishes, I did this is our bathroom too, only horizontal instead of vertical.

I can't wait to start decorating the rest of the house, I am so into the Christmas spirit right now it's crazy.

I would give a good whack to anyone who did that to my dog!!! (My dog being a completely white fluffball). I once saw this dog on the show, Dog Whisperer (I love Cesar Millan, despite his silly Mexican accent. He does wonders with dogs) Anyway, the one episode I saw was about this woman who had dyed her dog a bright pink. Even brighter than the colour of Falula. The woman even dressed her up in little outfits and put booties on her. The whole nine-yards. I'm just thinking, at one point does a dog become a child? Seriously.... It's A DOG! Not some child's play thing. It's no wonder the dog had behavioral issues. I would too if someone dyed my fur pink! Okay, rant over.

How did you come up with the name Falula? The only time I've heard that name was in the movie "Cool Runnings" with John Candy. That movie is hilarious. Just wondering if there's any relevance....

Oh! I was in Wal Mart a couple weeks ago and I found those pj's you were showing off several posts back. I could not, to my dismay, find any Muppets ones though. I searched and searched too! Was not meant to be I guess. :sad2:

LOVE the decorations but seeing those animal skins kind of takes away from the "holly-jolly"-ness of the room. I'm not a fan of hunters, trappers, or anything that has to do with hunting for sport. I'm an animal lover what can I say.

I do put sweaters on falula, but only in the winter, she is losing her hair and is lways cold, it's really out of neccessity, not to be cutesy cutesy.
I got the name Falula from an episode of friends, Phoebe had to sign for a bed for Monica and didn't know her middle name so she put Falula, I just thought it was hilarious, our poor dog is hardly ever called Falula though, she is Lulu, little lu, fats malone. little. tooter, falooten tootin, and now Pinky has been added to the list.

Sorry you couldn't find the muppet jammies, out of the 3 walmarts around here, only 1 carries the muppet set, wierd huh?

I agree the room isn't very holly jolly with all those furs on the wall. I too am an animal lover, but I grew up the daughter of a hunter, always having duck, buck or elk for our meals, fish too but most people don't have a problem with fishing. I could totally understand hunting and only shooting what you plan to eat. I couldn't grasp the concept of trapping an animal just for it's pelt, Kent can be pretty convincing though, when he told me that many animals starve to death because of over population and what not, but it wasn't until I saw a fox with mange that I realized that there is give and take when it comes to trapping. I can understand both sides. I have a friend who will not come to my house because of the furs on the wall and she quit talking to Kent, she won't allow her kids to come here either. It's sad, I do feel bad for her cause I know it hurts her feelings, but then again she abuses the system and gets food stamps by lying about her income and how many people live in her house. In the winter when Kent doesn't work much because construction slows down, trapping is a huge source of income for us. She tells us we're robbing the land, but I feel she is robbing the people. I know it's all just a matter of opinion but I don't put her down for the decision she makes or how she feels she needs to feed her family, she shouldn't put us down for ours.

Ok I'm stepping off the soap box now.

Of course I love the lodge look and the tree is totally cute.Cory said he's gonna try to sort out the decorations while we are in Disney so when we get back I'll get it all together I like to leave it up till valentines day I figure it took all that time to put it up I should really get to enjoy it. I'm not much into the hunting thing and Dan gave up his guns when we got married but he is a fisherman and his family all hunt, I don't like deer meat or really much wild meat just wasn't raised with it my moms idea of fish was fishstick and she hasn't eat chicken in 50 years so not much variety in our lives growing up, we did learn about other cultures when we lived in Berlin,Germany and The Isle of Crete yup my dad was Air Force for 21 year I wae born in Bremerhaven, Germany so your story hit home with me. BTW how do I pm you to give you my address?????:confused3:confused3

Nobody should abuse the system like that. There are far more people out there who need those stamps without lying about their income. That's just plain untruthful if you ask me. If trapping/hunting is a source of income for Kent, than that's reasonable, as long as it's in moderation ;) Sorry, the animal lover coming out in me again.

I love the Christmas decorations. I've started to listen to Christmas music, it just makes me happy. If I could get away with Christmas decorations now then I would. LOL I think that my Thanksgiving guests would look at me very strange if I broke out the decorations now. I'll put it all up on Black Friday. The month of December goes too quickly, I understand why you have them up now!!

PS- I really like the finish on your walls. I never would have guessed it was paint, I really thought it was wood!!

HaHa! You are on the ball! I am hoping to get my decorations up before leaving for WDW!!!! We'll see! But, my tree for sure will be done after we get back...my sister in law is staying with our dogs and cat and I don't know if she will remember to water it daily??

I love your room! It really has a woodsy, outdoors, hunting feel.

Oh I don't know about that....I'm certainly enjoying your report so far, I think I've only made it to page 10, so I still have some catching up to do. ;)
I've never thought of my mom as a fart song specialist, more like a fart song wierdo, but I'm sure she will appreciate the proffesional title. Knowing her it will go to her head though, she'll probably have business cards made up for herself. As any fart song specialist should do, der!

Ty is just my nickname, My brother couldn't say Tracy, he always called me Ty and it stuck. I love it, my dd10 couldn't say Tyler for her big brother so she called him Ty-Ty, and it's stuck ever since and she's the only one in the family allowed to call him that. :lovestruc
YOur DH is 6'5? that's alot of man to love on, wow I guess Mr Incredible is a suiting name, I call my DH Gus Gus, cause he has a tummy like Gus Gus does, he hates the name. That's halarious! I love it! Do you ever say Zup! Zup! to hurry him up?
Turd Azul:lmao: We went through a financial set back about 12 years ago, Kent had to get rid of his truck, he came home with this little red car, we named it the princess car, it was so girly, I felt bad teasing him about it, I mean he got rid of his truck to ensure our families survivial,This is exactly why my dh got the little blue honda....Ahem! The Turd Azul he ended up with, you gotta love a man who looks out for his family. but really a bicycle would have been more manly then the car he came home in. I'm glad to say we only had the princess car for about a year,he finally got a bigger then necessary truck, He had to rebuild his testosterone level.[/SIZE]
Thank you for the warm welcome. :goodvibes

I am loving your xmas decorations and the room looks perfectly like a log cabin at xmas

HOLY CHRISTMAS TREE!!! I am ubber jealous! Shamus would divorce me (before we're even legally married...) if I started decorating! However, the star stocking-hangers are up on the mantel and he hasn't said anything... Oh I LOVE  LOVE Christmas!!! We're getting our real tree on Black Friday or that Saturday. I've got a friend staying at the house and the only requirement is she water the tree daily!

AHHHH!!! I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!

P.S. - Pink dog - love it!!!

Don't apologize for being an animal lover. Kent's trapping is in moderation, that's why they have seasons for it and game wardens. He follows all the rules.

I love the Christmas decorations. I've started to listen to Christmas music, it just makes me happy. If I could get away with Christmas decorations now then I would. I love Christmas music too, it can lift a sour mood instantly. I've had the Christmas music going in my car since before Halloween.
The faux paint finish was so cheaper then wood paneling. It cost me 30 dollars to paint that room, and that includes the special paint brush I used. I painted a faux stone finish in my kitchen using a stencil, most people thinks it;s real stone.

HaHa! You are on the ball! I am hoping to get my decorations up before leaving for WDW!!!! We'll see! But, my tree for sure will be done after we get back...my sister in law is staying with our dogs and cat and I don't know if she will remember to water it daily??
I normaly would not have started my decorating so early, but I know once I am back to work I won't have the time or energy to do it all then. Feels good to at least be getting somethig done, even if it is way early.

I love your room! It really has a woodsy, outdoors, hunting feel.
Thanks, that is what I was going for. I love the look of a log cabin, maybe someday I will actually get to live in one.

Thank you for the warm welcome. :goodvibes
You are more then welcome, I am just so happy to have you here.

I am loving your xmas decorations and the room looks perfectly like a log cabin at xmas
Thank you so much. It really is a caozy room, I love to sit and read by the woodstove, especially on a day when I am snowed in which happens at least twice during the winter.

P.S. - Pink dog - love it!!!

a pre marriage divorce, we wouldn't want that to happen.
I love real trees, every year I say I am going to get a real tree and then I never do. I love the smell of a real tree, for now I just have to fake it with candles.
Pink dog!, I have washed her twice and it's faded a little, I'm ready for her to not be pink. I found purple dye in Reese's room, I hid it, I don't need a little purple dog next.

My TA called today, my travel docs are in. I am going to pick them up tomorrow. I am so excited, that was the last step in waiting for the trip to be really real.
Janis had some stuff go down, I don't want to spread her personal bsuiness here, so without too much detail, what happened was she got some news that made it so she wouldn't be able to leave for the trip until the 5th of Dec, missing our first 2 days at Disney, it was stressful for a few days. We got the trip insurance and come to find out it covers everything but the reason why she would have to delay, actually in my opinion I think it was a loophole on their part to keep from having to pay out any money. We didn't get the insurance through Disney, our TA said this other insurance would be better and covered more for less. Not so, but we got word tonight that it is going to work out in Janises favor, she won't have to delay her departure at all, her and mom still can fly down together. I am so happy it worked out because she was going to miss AK, I only have 1 day set aside for that park so I was trying to rework the itinerary so she wouldn't miss AK, now I can just keep everything the same.
I have been trying to get my packing together and all my little surprises done before Monday. (I'm hoping to be back to work by Tuesday) I have made us shirts, I was going to do the tye dye Mickey shirts, but couldn't seriously aford to spend any extra money, so I went with what I had at home, I found a Christmas Mickey clipart I liked, printed it out, traced it onto my projector (Thanks to my Dad working for the school distrcit everytime they upgrade I get the old, and a light projector really does come in handy) anyway, I traced it onto the projector then shown it on the wall, hung the T-shirt up and traced the image onto the T-shirt. Then I mixed my every day ceramic paints mixed with textile medium (textile medium will turn any paint into a fabric paint) I painted the image. (Nic this is how I did your Kermit shirt)
SO anyway, I have 2 of the Christmas Mickey shirts done, 2 more to go, and it only cost me $8, Jaoanne Fabrics has a sale right now, 5 shirts for 10 bucks.
I also got us each a little stocking at the dollar tree 2 for a dollar to be exact, I am filling them with gum, mints, lipbalm, Which I got some Disney ones today, not princess ones, but ones with Mickey, Goofy etc..etc... with great flavors too. I also got mini glow sticks and a Mickey pen for each. I am going to surprise them and lay it all out while they are asleep, then in the morning I will act all surprised like Santa must have come. I'm just a dork like that.
so I am at 20 days, this Saturday I will be in the teens. whoohoo:woohoo:
Reese has a show tomorrow night, Saturday I am putting my other tree up, Sunday I will probably finish the other 2 shirts, Monday is my Ortho appt and hopefully Tuesday I will be back to work, then it's 9 days until Thanksgiving, I will be working Black Friday and probably that whole weekend, then it's a just a few short days until Disney. Plus I still have physical Therapy during all that, time will be a flyin!
See how that all works out? I don't think I have any down time between now and Disney. Only sad thing is I won't be able to stay up late dising anymore.

I have cluttered up my photobucket account with all kinds of non DIsney pics so I am going to go an erase alot of the pics on it before my trip. I need an empty photobucket in order to put all my new Disney pics on it.

I was wondering how you made my shirt. LOL I was staring at it and Greg was like, what are you looking at? I was just in amazement. I totally thought you did it by hand. Needless to say you are very talented and I not surprised that your kids have an amazing talent too.

Everything is getting so close. Didn't it feel like we had all the time in the world and now it's closing in so quickly. I'm so excited to see you on Magical Express. Since it is so early in the AM I am thinking that there may only be one bus for all the guests. If not, I will definitely see you in the ME hang out area!!!

I want to see pictures of the second tree. I have the Christmas music on full scale now and I put a Christmas tree scented plug in in the office!!! It's so close now, and I have so much to do between the holiday and the vacation, I know it's going to fly!!!
