I was wondering how you made my shirt. LOL I was staring at it and Greg was like, what are you looking at? I was just in amazement. I totally thought you did it by hand. Needless to say you are very talented and I not surprised that your kids have an amazing talent too.

Everything is getting so close. Didn't it feel like we had all the time in the world and now it's closing in so quickly. I'm so excited to see you on Magical Express. Since it is so early in the AM I am thinking that there may only be one bus for all the guests. If not, I will definitely see you in the ME hang out area!!!

I want to see pictures of the second tree. I have the Christmas music on full scale now and I put a Christmas tree scented plug in in the office!!! It's so close now, and I have so much to do between the holiday and the vacation, I know it's going to fly!!!

Oh Thank you so much for your kind words. I love to paint, I normally paint ceramics, I have been working on Santas of all nationalities for my mom, she collects Santas, I give her 1 or 2 each Christmas, I'll have to find somepics of them to post, I kind of stopped painting for a bit when I got into scrapbooking, but I had so much fun painting the shirts I want to get back into it.
It is so hard to believe that we are less then 3 weeks from departure, I felt like I had all the time in the world especially since I have been off work since July, now I feel like I haven't any time to get it all done. I am super stoked about meeting you and Greg at ME. As of right now I am going to be wearing jeans and a T-shirt with a lime green diser logo on it. so watch for that. IT would be so cool if we are on the same ME bus. We can sing fart songs in rounds. just kidding, it would be way too early in the vacation to subject Janis to that, I have to slowly break her in.
As soon as my second tree is up I will post pics of it, I don't think I am going to do a third tree this year, normally I do one in all snowmen, but time is not allowing that, at least not before the trip.

I'll get pics of the shirts and my second tree up here soon. I am excited for the Mickey shirts, they are turning out so much better then I had imagined. I'm thinking on adding bells to them but wondering if eventually the noise of all 4 of us jingling all day will annoy me.

I am looking forward to going back to work, I'm afraid they are going to have retrain me, my brain has been on idol for too long and isn't funtioning properly anymore I am trying to rework my sleep patterns, so far it's not working, I will try to go to bed at a decent hour but I end up laying there wide awake for hours, so then I just get up and get on the disboards, then I get hooked on a TR and stay up till 4:00am.

Thank you, I so want to get back to work, I think I am ready but I know I won't be able to do a full shift, I'll just have to leave it up to the Dr though. I'm most afraid for black Friday, there is no rest on that day.

I got all my travel documents today, I left the house about 1:30pm got to the mall by 2 and had documents in hand by 2:15Pm, and then my TA told me to have a magical Vacation.
While I was at the mall I got my mammoth crocs, black with black woolish material. they were on sale for $24.99 I had budgeted for $40.00 so yay. Then I wnet to Spencers and got my son new lip rings, and found a Trivium T-shirt that was on his Christmas list, it was on sale for $8.98 gotta love clearance. They had lots of Muppet shirts, I almost got an Animal Tshirt but changed my mind.
Next I went to Bath and Bodyworks, they have a redlicorice lipgloss I want so bad, (I have an addiction to lipgloss) I walked around the store holding it for a bit, then put it back, I will just put it on my christmas list for Kent to get it for me.
I then went ot charlotte Rouse so Reese could point out gift ideas for me, I think I will just give her a gift card to that store, same with Pac Sun. We went into Victoria Secret I wanted to get some travel size lotion but decide I really didn't need it, left that store empty handed as well.
Then came Hot Topic, I got Jim 2 more shirts, another Trivium and an As I lay Dying, I looked at their liprings and was happy that I got them at Spencers, they were 5 bucks cheaper there. The guy waitin on me at Hot Topic looked just like my ex, it was hard to look at him, just felt wierd. Reese even commented on it after we left the store.
By then we had been at the mall for 2 hours, my knee was swollen and it hurt to walk, I was meeting Jim and his friend Jingles at Target so we then headed over there, didn't browse the store at all though, we just got a Mango slushie at the snack bar. mmmmmm goooood!
Jim showed up, I gave him his lip rings but I had gotten him 16 gage and he needs 14, the 16 would be too small, I hated the idea of having to go back to the mall, so I just gave him the receipt (after I scribbled out the Trivium T-shirt purchase on it) then he Jingles and Reese (she ditched me) left for the mall and I left to go home. My knee was throbbing so much it hurt to drive.
I didn't go straight home though I stopped at th Capehorn shopping center to get me some Khalua for my trip, as I'm coming out of the liquor store I run into (literally) Reese boyfriend Devon, so we chatted a bit, he was excited for Reeses show that night. After we parted I called Reese to to tell her that if she hadn't ditched me she would have been able to see Devon. She freaked out.
Reese: You talked to him without me being there? Was he alone? Who was with him, What did you talk about?

Me: Just that we had to go out and get some ointment for a rash you have, but don't worry I told him it wasn't contagous.

Reese: (shrieks in to the phone) MAWM!! you didn't!"

Me: It's ok I told him not to tell you that he knows cause you were embarrased by it.

Reese: Tell me you are lying. You didn't say that really did you?

Me: No, I would never do that to you.

Reese: I swear Mom!

Me: I know I;ve heard you do it! And you should quit!

Reese: Yea, ok, Bye!

Me: Love ya, mean it!!!!

I got home, Kent had made some Fried chicken, by 6:00pm I was so tired and my leg hurt that I couldn't make it to Reese's show, she said not to worry there would be plenty more. So I get on my jammies and settle in for a night infront of the T.V. after a while Kent asked me if I was going to open my box. I was like what box? Umm the one on the counter that says Ty on it. I had thought it was another box full of pee for Kent so I never bothered to look at it closely. Well sure enough it is addressed to me from a special Dis friend. I ripped into the box and it was full of Disney treats, Pens stickers a notebook and luggage tags, I was so giddy, I was laughing and crying at the same time, my tiredness left me even. Thankyou Nic, it made my day.
I got on the phone and called Mom and shared with her what I got, "See Mom, my Dis peeps are so nice and thoughtful, she is so excited meet them all.
Then I called Marzi, she has a cold right now so we didn't talk long, she just got a new German shephard puppy and named her Sasha. She's got less then 3 weeks to get her fully house trained. I told her about my Disney surprise I got from Nic and she was so happy for me too.

Reese, Jim and Jingles got home about 10:00pm, she said the show went pretty good. Jingles is sleeping over, he is my weekend child. I've known him for about 5 years now and just learned his real name last summer.

I am in the teens now. 19 days how excited am I?

I am resting teh knee as much as I can, I am getting a new smaller brace on Monday, just to keep it stable when I get back to work. How is you rknee holding up?

I got my second tree up today, it took all day, I kept sitting down to watch the Top Model marathon.
I am alittle OCD about my trees, the lights have to be perfect, the angel has to be center, I did as much as I could until I couldn't reach anymore, Kent didn't want me on the ladder, (He didn't have to twist my arm to stay off of it) so he finished the rest,

The Angel is not centered!!!! He said it looks fine but my eye keep sgoing to this Angel that looks like she's about to topple off the side, it's tricky puttting that angel on, I have trouble every year, you have to mush and smash and bend the brances until she sits nicely, he said he will fix it later, so I decide to relax. I turn the lights off and I see that he didn't take his time with the lights either, see how the lights are glowing like plutonium on the bottom of the tree and then see how they barely exist at the top? That is going to ruin my Christmas mood.

Kent said when he gets back from his trapping trip, he actually leaves in less then 2 hours, he will completely redo the lights and angel, which will be a pain because I will have to take the ornaments and bead garland off first. He made me promise not to touch it until he gets back, he even locked the ladder up so I can't use it. I can wait a week, it's only a week, that's not so bad. I wish I weren't so OCD about my tree and lights, it drives everybody including me nuts, I usually have to hang the garland 4 or 5 times until I like it. I don't like the wires from the lights to show so I usually do a layer of brabches then wrap the lights around them and keep going till it's done, Kent said he knew how I liked it so I trustd him to do it without me hanging over his shoulder. Men! That's all I got to say abou tthat anymore!

I am almost done with the last 2 Mickey shirts, all I have left now is to do the black out line, paint the ears and add the glitter paint. But here is oneof the finished shirts

I like it alot, and it was so much fun to paint.

And this is my Kermit shirt. It was a little easier to paint then the Mickey, If I have time I might just paint me another shirt, but I'm not sure which character I want to do. I guess I will just look at some clip art and if anything pops out that I have to have I will give it a try.

Your tree is beautiful, but I do understand what you mean by the lights, it's the one thing I dread most about decorating the tree, everything else will come together but I hate doing the lights. Sooooo my DH does them for me. Having said that.....I also have to have them done to perfection, if I'm not smelling some sort of plastic burning then there aren't enough lights on the tree, dang it!
I haven't put anything out for Christmas here because I'm just as big a freak about my fall decorations as I am about Christmas.
I loved the shirts, you out did yourself and everyone will want to know where you got them. Will you wear the kermit one with your p.j. bottoms, or is that for the park only?

Sounds like the experience with your leg the other day wasn't so good. Have you conceded to getting a scooter? I know that's probably not what you want to hear. What's the doctor or PTist say about you walking around a lot on it and getting in and out of rides all day?
I'm worried for ya girl. Let us know what the doc says.

Just popping in to say you have some crazy stories to tell, lady!!! BUT I am enjoying them! Pink dogs, the Christmas room of "death" TWO or THREE Christmas trees, Teenagers, gee -- if that isn't that enough to keep anyone on their toes! But honestly, your one tree/cabin room does look very inviting and cozy. I can't believe you already have Christmas going!!! I have to wait a little longer, two weeks, day after Thanksgiving, then it is all over! Gotta get it done before we leave for Disney so I can enjoy it!! Great reading your PTR, fun stories!! Love the 2nd tree Ty, I do see the light issue and I know what you mean about the lights being just right. We have a revolving Christmas tree stand and that means all sides have to be right, I can't stand it in a corner, if the back side isn't right, It has to balance all the way around. I drive Danny crazy with just one more strand of lights, no, just one more, ok maybe one more.
Those shirts are adorable, nice job, very professional looking!!!! btw did you get my pm with my addres for the kids dvd. Would love to see them, sorry you missed Reese's show hope it went well. I do still have my kilns though. How cool. I learn something new about you everyday. Right now I'm getting ready to do a craft show. I am so swamped, but I wanted to take time to come talk to you for a few! If this show goes well, we are going to start doing more. Maybe I will get that trip next year after all!!!!!

I love the Christmas tree. I tried to see if I could put the Christmas decorations up for Thanksgiving and Greg said no. He said that everyone would think i was a nut job having Thanksgiving dinner decorated for Christmas. I agreed but only because my time is running out and the decorating would be a huge overhaul. I'm still trying to get the finishing touches done on our apartment (hanging pictures, getting my curtains up) we've only been there since February so I figured it's about time.

Reese's show according to her was just ok, I don't know if that was just typical one word answers that teens give or if it truly was just ok, I feel bad for missing it though.

Resisting the temptatin to shop has been hard, only because it's Christmas, I'm usually not a big shopper anyway, but I can't buy for myself until the kids Christmas is all done, it makes me feel guilty. And funds are little tight because of being off work, I did borrow from my disney fund to Christmas shop some, but it's still all good.

I will finish all my Christmas decorating when I get back from Disney, the hard time consuming stuff is done though, I still like to put out my nativitys and figurines.
I wish you lived in America too, you could help me do my christmas shopping! I hate shopping alone at christmas.

You sound like my sister Bo, she loves her fall decorations just as much as her christmas decorations, she even decorates in the bathrooms. I might put out a Christmas hand soap in the bathroom but that's it.

Wow, I just said in my last post that I'm not giving in to a scooter yet, but then I read your post and see that we could have scooter races as much as this appeals to me, (I love a good race) I only race for pinks sister! (please tell me you got that joke)

My Mom said if worse comes to worse and I absolutley can't walk anymore she will spring for a wheelchair, she is looking into renting one for the whole week, I really think it will be a waste of money if you ask me.

I fixed those tree imperfections, well the light imperfections anyway, there wasn't much I could do about the angel, that will have to wait for Kent. But I couldn't stand the lights being all wrong, I tried not looking at them, I even tried just not turning the lights on at all, but I was watching Christmas shows on T.V. and had to have the lights on.

Glad to hear that your knee is doing better, but sorry to hear the anit-anfalmitory makes you sick, can the Dr. switch that for you? If not I would at least ice your knee in the evenings when you get back from the park, I plan to do that as well, I hope it well for the next day.

I have to wait a little longer, two weeks, day after Thanksgiving, then it is all over! Gotta get it done before we leave for Disney so I can enjoy it!! Great reading your PTR, fun stories!! I love christmas, it is still a bit early for me to have my decorations up, I just needed to get them done early on acount of going back to work soon and my Disney trip, the kids tell me I'm am just making excuses for being crazy, oh well, it's a good excuse anyway. I'd rather be the crazy Tree lady then the crazy cat lady.
When is your Disney trip? Where you staying?

Love the 2nd tree Ty, I do see the light issue and I know what you mean about the lights being just right. We have a revolving Christmas tree stand and that means all sides have to be right, I can't stand it in a corner, if the back side isn't right, It has to balance all the way around. I drive Danny crazy with just one more strand of lights, no, just one more, ok maybe one more.
Those shirts are adorable, nice job, very professional looking!!!! btw did you get my pm with my addres for the kids dvd. Would love to see them, sorry you missed Reese's show hope it went well. How's your knee doing? don't over do, you need all you strength for Disney. It's getting so close and I'm hoping I can get it all done.

A revolving tree? That would be the death of me, I would probably fuss with it forever and never be able to enjoy it. I always say I want a real tree, and every year I put up my fake ones, I think it's because I won't be able to get a real tree perfect, especially the lights. I love lights, I want to be able to read by the light of the tree.

Wow on your trees! Very christmassy. I love Christmas bu haven' put a tree up for yearssince my mom passed on. But I love seing other decorations.

Sounds like you are heading back to work? But I read that your knee was still bothering you? Are you going to be ok walking at WDW? The "slow" RideMax plans are always on the table.

Do you ever feel like puttin gup a tree? I love looking at other peoples decorations just as much as my own, I like to drive around and look at houses all decorated outside, some of the light displays are so amazing.

Yea, I am headed back to work real soon, I'm excited, I'm tired of being home all the time.
Disney ill be fine, I have alot of sitdown stuff planned and mid day breaks at the resort. And if need be I will park my butt in a wheel chair.

I just rented UP. I loved it, it was so funny and super cute. Good luck with your PJ shopping, there are lots to choose from.
