I really need to change my sleep habits, every night I say this is the night I will go to bed early, no dissing till 6:00amm I gave myself until 2:00am today, then it's computer off.

Reese went to another open mic night tonight. I love watching her do her thing, she is so comfortable up there on stage, I don't want to sound conceited about her or stuck up in anyway, but really if that girl does not end up famous then something is totally wrong in the world.

She did a song she wrote called "Your silence kills me" the crowd really liked that one, and when she was done the lady behind me said "Oh my God, where does that tiny girl get such a powerful voice." It made me feel so proud to hear the positive feed back from people who didn't know Reese was my daughter.
Then Reese did A Jimi Hendrix cover tune "Hey Joe" She got a standing ovation after that one.
When the show was over a guy gave her a card and said "I like your music and your voice is amazing, call me and let's get you started making money."
Basically from what the card reads, he show cases talent and starts out paying $30 per showcase. I'm going to check it out tomorrow and see if it's on the up and up, make sure he's nut a nutcase preying on innocent musicians and maybe stealing their songs. I hope for Reese's beneifit this guy is ligit. She wants to make it in music so bad.

Now onto Disney
The trip is 100% paid off!
Feels so good to not have to think about that anymore, flights are also booked and paid for, now all we have to do is wait for the Disney mail.

I went and ordered my free Disney DVD planner and my customized maps. I get them every trip.

I have over $110.00 saved in my money jar, Kent tossed in $20 in there today, for no reason other then he loves me. (I think I'll keep him around a little longer now)

I finally let Jim get his permit, he has been driving everywhere, it's so wierd seeing him behind the wheel. It makes me feel old.

Awww yay for Reese, i'm so pleased for her and I hope this guy is trustworthy and helps her get a step closer to her dream

Hey, is there any way to tape her and put it on youtube or something. I would LOVE to hear her sing!! And I love the song "Hey Joe" good choice on Reese's part!! And I hope everything works out with the talent agent guy. I have faith that Reese will make it big. If you want something bad enough the Gods find a way to make it happen for you!! (I'm not very religious but I do definately believe in a higher power and the strength of prayer)

She has a show this Saturday, (she's sick right now, but hopes to not have to cancel) I could also include some stuff of when she sang in Jim's band. "The Offspring of A Revolution.

This will be my 3rd set of park maps, I plan to one day frame them and put them in my Disney room. I also ordered the DVD planner for my mom, she doesn't know this, she'll just get a surprise in the mail one day.

I'm telling you nothing feels better then paying a trip off. Having flights all taken care off seals the deal wholey.

Reese's "in" with the industry looks a little fishy to me now, I went on their website and it looks like you have to pay to advertise your music/band and then once you get so many hits he will showcase you and reimburse the money you paid. I think I will call him directly.

I hope she gets the big chance too, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen with this guy. When Reese was in Jim's band they had a manager who booked shows for them and made them the house band at his place of business, but he no longer has the business, his band has taken off around here, bu the did offer to have Reese open for his band if he ever get's a booking that isn't a nasty bar.

Yup, Kent's a keeper. I need to hurry and deposit that money in my Disney account, it's too easy to spend a 20 bill, I keep looking at it and thinking of all the stuff I could get with it right now. But like Madilynsmomma said "gotta save to spend"

I do feel old having a kid that is driving and going to graduate this year. I think Disney keeps me young, but dang, seems like just yesterday I was bringing Jim home from the hospital.

Just some rambling tonight. Once I go back to work I won't be able to Dis as much as I do now, at least not pull all nighters.

Physical therapy kicked my butt today, my leg is hurting and swollen, but that's cause I'm working muscles that haven't worked properly for a while. The PT said he doesn't think the Dr. will release me for work yet, he said he knows that Dr. and he is very concervative. I left thinking, that I am doing great and will probably start work next week. I had a letter from the PT to give to my Dr. but it is full of abbreviations, letters, numbers, letters mixed with numbers, so I called my sister BO who is a PT herself and had her translate for me, and she said from the sound of the letter I won't be at work next week either. I have a way with words, I bet I can convince my Dr to send me back next week.

Reese is really sick today, she came home from school with a fever and body aches, she keeps going from being hot to being cold, so I want to take her to the Dr. tomorrow but she is fighting me on that. So we compromised, if she has a fever when she wakes up, we go see the Dr.

Kent got busted by the cops today, his truck inspection is past due, the check engine light keeps coming on, so he has his uncle hook it up to see what is wrong, and it pointed to something with his gas tank, so Kent fixed that, his uncle turned the check engine light off but he has to put miles on it before he can take it in for inspection again, well the light came back on again today, he was on his way to his uncles garage when the copper got him. And I wasn't there to take a picture of him getting a ticket. They found the problem though and Kent has replaced that part, but he still has to put miles on the truck again before he can take it back in for the inspection. But I told him months ago when the light first came on to get it taken care of before it becomes a huge problem. Did he listen to me? Heck no, I'm just a girl!

I have a scrapbook party this Saturday, I had planned to finish up my Disney album from 2007, but I finished it yesterday, so I don't know what I'll work on, maybe I will finally start on the kids music scrapbook?

Anyway, this is my favorite new page.

It took me a while to do this one, I had a brain fart and couldn't come up with any ideas, but then just like that an idea popped into my head.

The pirate tutorial was such a fun show, he pulled kids out of the audiance to participate which made it all the cuter. On my first trip we skipped all the shows too, but now I know better.

I don't like when my babies get sick, but that is the only time they let me "baby" them. Reese always wants me to lay down with her when she's sick and play with her hair till she falls asleep.

I used to make up songs and sing them to myself, in my mind I was awesome!

I do hope to get back to work soon, but I am wondering if I should ask the Dr. if I can finish up my physical therapy first, I guess it will be up to him, he will know what is best for me.
You are so right, Kent is the typical man, when will he learn that I am always right? I actually made us shirts a couple of years ago, his shirt said "Mr. Right" and my shirt said "Mrs. always right"

Hi Everyone,
Thanks again for your well wishes for Reese. She is doing so much better, she has a sinus infection and bronchitus but the Doc gave her some anitbiotics and within 24 hours she was feeling 90% better. She still has as she calls it her man cough, but even that is getting better. I wouldn't have called it a man cough, I think she sounded more like a walrus but I would nevet tell her that. As soon as I found out she was sick I started taking airborn, I can't afford to get sick when it's so close to me going back to work. That's all I need, be released for work just to have to call in sick.
I told Jim to take airborn, he wouldn't and now he is sick too. Just with a cough, so far no fever.

It has been so cold here. Record low temps. it's ridiculous. My little dog is shivering all the time, I had to get out her sweaters for her. Poor thing.

I have a friend who has never been to Disney. This April her youngest DD is having a cheerleading ompetition down in Fl. so she decided to do Disney while they are there. She called me and told me she is so overwhelmed and doesn't even know where to begin. So I met with her and we started in the most logic place first. Resort. We came to the conclusion that her large family of 7 would be better off at getting house off property, I never tell people to stay off property, but really, her and her DH plus 5 kids. I mean yea, Disney can accomodate them, but they have a budget to stick to, so of course since she is staying of property they can't use the dining plan, bu tthey still want to make some ADR's. So anyway,I have plans to meet with her this week and help her get things all sorted out and maybe come up with a touring plan. This is going to be a Christmas present from santa for her youngest DD, I sent her the link to the free planning DVD and to customize your own maps, so she is going to put that in his stocking. He is going to be so surprised. Everytime I go to their house we play Disney's scene it and Joey always wants me on his team. (cause he knows we'll win) He has looked through all my Disney albums and even watched some of my vacation footage from there. He's always saying he wants to go to Disney. I can't wait till he finds out he gets to go, I told Laura to record the look on his face, I have got to see it.

As of today, I only have 45 days left on my countdown, it seems so close yet so long to still have to wait. Some days I am calm, and other days I am going crazy inside. I'm not allowed to talk Disney at home anymore, it doesn't stop me from talking Disney, they just get up and leave when I mention it. Falula, my ever loyal doggy lets me talk Disney all I want, she is such a sweetie, I wish I could bring her.

Mom is super busy taking care of her mom, her sister is getting ready to move Granma to Fl. Mom is heart sick, she has been the main care taker of Granma for forever, that's why her and Dad retired in Michigan. But it is to the point that Granma needs someone with her 24 hours, Mom wanted to Move her into mom's house, but mom lives in a tri-level and stairs and my Granma don't work well together, my Granma can trip over her own shadow. So any way, Mom spends her whole days with Granma, and when when gets home she is tired, I usually talk to her every day, but I have only talked to her twice this week, I miss my mom but I know she needs to care for her mom right now. Granma is moving to Fl mid November to live with my Aunt Miki.

Tomorrow I go see the Ortho Dr. and find out when I can go back to work. But I am really excited to go to a few stores and get some more stuff for my trip. I want to go get the Mammoth Crocs, but I think I will wait for 1 more pay day, and in the mean time pick up some smaller items. I need to start my Christmas shopping too. I did manage to get Reese a bathing suit at Target. At first I thought it would be wierd to give her a bathing suit for Christmas, but hey it was on sale and I know she will love it.

Well I have rambled enough so I guess I will head to bed now.

I just got all caught up! Sorry that Reese was sick! Glad she is feeling better though. We have been circulating a cold around our house for a few weeks also. It sucks!
