Dec 09 PTR The Molecular change is in full swing. pg40 the pink puppy

Oh, I forgot to mention that I can't believe your co-worker was such a snot about you not coming back to work. People just need to mind their own business.
Oh, I need to echo this as well.

Sadly, this type of idiocy is prevalent even at WDW, and unfortunately even on these boards at times. Have you ever been or traveled with somebody who uses an ECV at WDW due to a hidden disability? I am one myself, and believe me... some of the horrible looks and comments people have given me are absolutely appalling. :sad2:

I know right now everyone at work is getting on my nerves. They all seem to be doing stupid, rude, and really, you did not just do that, sort of things. I just want to be in my happy place where everything is special and the cms are polite and they are waiting on me, asking if there is anything they can do for me,and they are serving me dinner and I don't have to clean up afterwards. I keep telling myself soon, soon, soon. We can do this together. Btw love the pjs and the socks. tooo cute I was gonna tell you the same thing about the pink ones being capris. I have to do that all the time I'm 6ft tall and they don't make pjs in tall.:confused3

My mom is gonna have to use one this time. My family is going the 2 weeks before we go and my mom needs knee replacement surgery on both knees, bone on bone very painful but looks normal. I understand completely. She is very independent and hates the idea but she will not miss out on Disney for anything. Geeee wonder where I get it. Btw JoJO talked me into the gorillapod and the one that fits my camera was $40 free shipping. I just couldn't help myself.

I forgot to mention that too. LOL people like that just make me want to rip their arms off and beat them over the head with them. Sometimes when people are speaking and I just can't stand to listen to them anymore I imagine there heads getting really really tiny and their voices getting higher and higher like that part in Beatlejuice. Anyone, anyone...:confused3 I know it's a super old movie but someone has got to know that party I am talking about.

I REMEMBER! :rotfl: I have a boss who whines a lot (and I DO MEAN A LOT!) and when she gets to getting on my nerves, I just hear in my head "wonch, wonch, wonch, wonch" like the teacher on Charlie Brown who speaks, but you can't understand her. I like to laugh at my own jokes - gets me through the days! :rotfl:

I am glad that the ECV's are there for people who need them. It would be a shame for anyone at all to miss out on Disney World and the EVC's make it easier on the body to enjoy, though a hassle for getting around, especially in crowds. I try not to judge b/c like you said, some people have hidden disabilities, so you never know who needs them and who doesn't. But I will say, if anyone gets an EVC and they don't need it, then shame on them, because they may be taking one from someone who really needs it.

See, I am 5-6, but I have LONG legs, so sometimes things are just a tad too short and then when I wash them, and they are WAY too short. So, since Capris have come out and flood pants, I don't have to worry about that anymore! :thumbsup2 It's wonderful, really! :yay:

I get in my car and this lady starts honking at me. "Really? Did you think I was going to pull out in front of you? I saw you and your big ocean liner you're driving."

I drive over to WalMart, this place is a mad house, I see a car close to the front pulling out so I put on my blinker and patiently wait, and wait, and wait, until "Really? are we going to make backing out of this spot an all day event? let's get a move on it, you're steering wheel is not going to break off."

:lmao::rotfl2:

Oh my gosh, that post was hilarious! Not that I'm laughing at you, of course not! But the way you describe everything is just a riot! It's like the "Murphy's Law" day or something out of Mr. Bean. Glad to see that your day ended up successful with those Disney purchases. By the looks of things, I should be checking out my local Wal-Mart for some of this stuff!

That co-worker of yours is probably just jealous. Good on you for giving her a mouthful in return :snooty:

Morning and evening at the same time!

I wanted to say I am glad Reese i sbetter and I am really proud of you for having the trip paid off.

Hope you are healing better honey. :goodvibes
Morning evening right back at ya.
Thank you, Reese is so much better now, just a little raspy, but she says it gives her a sexy singing voice now, hopefully she won't be like Phoebe on friends and wants to stay stick now to keep the sexy voice. (tell me you saw that episode)
I'm so proud too that the trip is paid off, do you now how many Java Monsters I gave up in order to save money? Geesh at least 3.

:scared1: but where oh where is your DTD shopping time?

Oohhh noooo i've just realised you're not in epcot on the 4th for the drinking around the world :sad1: Ty you've got to come meet us for a margarita! :sad1:

I'm glad Reese is better and it serves Kent right for not listening to you again! When's he gonna learn :lmao: The weather is getting colder now isnt it, time to dig out the jumpers I think. I still dont know what to pack for disney :confused3 just gonna stalk some weather sites for a couple of weeks before and see what sort of temperatures they are predicting.

Awww thats so kind of you to help out your friend like that, their little one is gonna burst with excitement! Let us know how it goes :yay: YAAAAAY for being at 45 days :woohoo: You'll soon be under a month  Dogs are wonderful arent they and such good listeners  I hope everything goes well for your mom & granma, the changes must be very hard  Good luck for the doctors too
Don't hyperventilate, I have DTD shopping sheduled for the 4th, the same night that we are in DTD for our planet hollywood ADR. That is why I am not able to make it to Epcot. I am so sorry. I will be having my drinks at Epcot on my birthday, December 9th. Probably about 6:30ish...hint, hint.

It was cold for a while, now it's nice again, T-shirt weather. I think you will be ok at Disney with long pants and T-shirt, have a jacket with you in your room. I only needed a jacket in the early mornings on my Dec 2007 trip. I then either tied it around my waist or got a locker. Jeans or shorts would have been fine, you won't freeze in shorts but you won't over heat in jeans. I am going to check the forecast before I go just to be sure though, as wacky as the weather has been, it'd be my luck I get there with spring clothes and a winter snow storm hits.

I'm meeting my friend Laura tomorrow to help her start her Disney planning, I think we are going to tackle the restaraunts and their menus.

My word is Seriously. Like, Seriously you did not load the dish washer, put the soap in and actually forget to turn it on!?!?!?! It works just as well as Really does in any situation!! LOL I know exactly what you are talking about!

I am so glad you got some Disney magic to brighten you day!! I love your PJ's and I think I will have to see if the Walmart by me has them. I've been looking for a good pair of Disney jammies.

I'm sorry you won't be going back to work soon. I know it sort of sucks being home and it's boring and daytime tv really just sucks, but November will bring you closer to your trip, which you have had planned and cleared forever. So don't feel bad or worry about going back to work and then leaving again for vaca. Disney is a no guilt kind of trip, you should never feel bad about going and you definitely shouldn't feel bad since you have worked very hard and saved for a long time for this trip. (that's as much a pep talk to you as it is me, and anyone else who has ANY guilt about disney LOL;) )

Really? seriously is your word? :lmao: I like seriously too, but really rolls off my tongues easier.

I love my new PJ's I just got new muppet ones at Walmart yeasterday, I want to post a pick soon, I love them so much cause it says The Muppets, and it's got Kermit all over them. I even yealled "Get the frick out (I said frick, not the cuss word) OK, so I yell, "Get the frick out, it's the muppets"

It does suck being stuck at home, TV really stinks, I have rented the first season of Dollhouse on DVD to keep me busy, I also rented the first season of True Blood, but I finished that in 2 days. I still have to say Lost is my favorite though. I like the True Blood Books better then the shows.

I didn't have any guilt about Disney, I have had 3 trips fall through, so I am stoked that this one has made it to the paid in full stage. I am worried however about how my coworkers will react when I get back to work and 2 weeks later I leave for vacation. I had to cancel my 2 beach vacations and 1 trip to the mountains because of my injury, so it's not like I have been living it up at home, and the first 3 weeks of my injury I basically lived in my bed, only getting up to shower or take care of necessities. I just know that people are gonna be PO'd.

I am a HUGE "really?" user!! I think that word comes out of my mouth in a day almost as many times as "the" and "and"!! LOL

That girl from your work...REALLY? Mind your business! She probably ran over to BB&B and gave a report too!

Too bad you couldn't go back, but on the bright side, you will now go back and only have to work two weeks then have off for Disney! Glad the new guys approved your dates!! Keep resting that leg!

I love those Mickey pj's! Are they flannel? They look super warm and comfy!!!
Really is awesome. You can do so much witht the word really. It's one of the few words that can be used as a question or a statement.

Yea, the girl from work, I mean REALLY?! I was so tempted to say "Nobody likes you." but I didn't want to be hurtful, I just wanted to be sarcastic.

I'm ok with not going back to work now, I was shocked at first, but If the Dr. doesn't think I'm ready, I'm not going to question him, I mean he's never come to my job and said "Ty, is that how you are supposed to fold towels?" So I will keep resting and doing my PT and I am sure I will be back to work by mid Nov.

Aww, poor Jim! Here's a great big get well wish for him!

I'm glad you finished my TR, but I'm sorry I made you cry! Thanks for the hugs! Even seven months later, they are appreciated.

Are you referring to the meltdown at House of Blues in DTD? Where Mitchell decided to let it all hang out and everyone in Disney World that day had a moment of silence for the death of my patience??? :rotfl:

I loved your "Really?" installment. It sounds like the perfect bad day. But leave it up to Disney to turn it right around for you!!! I had someone do that spot stealing to me at Walmart once, too. I had my grandmother (sick with pancreatic cancer) and was waiting on a close parking spot and someone whipped it in and got it from us. Yeah, they were young and healthy and could have easily walked the distance from the parking lot to the store, but no they made my elderly, sick grandmother do that. They didn't even care. :furious:

Then that lady's comment about the shopping cart. What a Bi - er, I mean witch.

Love the Christmas Mickey pajamas and the pink ones, too. You know if they shrink, you can always just say they are "capris". :rotfl:
Don't worry about your TR making me cry, it was just so real feeling. I got the feeling from you that you were at your wits end and felt alone, that made me cry, IT might have been House of blues at DTD, but I remember a meal at TTS that I felt bad for you as well.

The perfect bad day, that could be the title for a Lifetime network movie of the week. It seemed like the majority of my bad day happened while I was behind the wheel.

I guess I could use the pink ones as capris, bu they are really thick and fuzzy, winter material, I would freeze if I really used them as capris in the winter and theyd be too warm in the summer, well there's always spring and early fall, I guess I'll keep them. You talkedme into it.

Awww heck honey, what a day you had  I'm sorry for all the troubles you encountered and all the problems that came your way - I would have slapped that woman at work, glad you gave her a mouthful back :thumbsup2

Those disney purchases are just, really, really, REALLY great!!! I'm totally jealous of the pj's - they are so cute

You know, i'm thinking I might use your 'really' word as a great phrase tomorrow! I've had a rubbish day at work and feel like i'm gonna explode because I'm that wound up but I think i'll go in work tomorrow and just keep saying 'Really?' then they'll think i'm interested when actually i'm thinking 'do I really care - am I really bothered - are you really such an annoying little twit - do I really need to work here - I really need to look for another job' I feel better already! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the hug. It was such a lousy day, until I found my Disney treasures, then the day picked up and I was all smiles. I totally love my Disney jammies, I have 6 pair of Disney jammies now, too much?...:confused3 Of course not.

Go ahead and use the really word, but you have to add a bit of snarkiness when saying Really? It's like a question and statement together. Or if it's truly intended to be used as though you give a rats @ss (when you don't) Then you have to raise your eyebrows and give an overly sweet smile.

Really? Really? That's my favorite phrase too! It is used on a daily basis. Like today when my son texts me to tell me a girl in school put him in charge of the powderpuff football team and needed money for a coach shirt! REALLY!?! Then the little twit pay for it! I'm po!

So happy Reese is feeling better! That swine stuff is scary. But onto the dryer/hairspray/hot water thing! Really!?! You know it sucks when the grow up and move out, but since my daughter has, I have socks, underwear, clothes, etc. When she lived here I actually put a lock on my bedroom door!

Do you still have my address? I would LOVE to have a CD of Reese. With an autograph please! I so hope things go for her, how cool would that be.

Love the jammies, they look pretty warm. I can't wait for you to get to Disney World. You are my hope for a vacation this year. Since I can't go, I will live it through you!

So you have 4 more weeks off? That is 4 weeks of straight dissing! At least you will be prime and ready for all that walking. Got to get those crocs and get them broke in!

If you go next year, is it with the family? Or solo?

I will try not to take so long to get on here and post. Between school and my crafts I am swamped.
Talk to you soon!
Really? It's your favorite phrase too? We areso much alike, why aren't we neighbors, how come we haven't been outlawed by any establishments? How come we haven't even freakin met in person? I mean Really?! But Really! YOur son is in charge of powder puff football, I bet he is lovin life.

So you are saying once Reese is gone, I get back my personals? Cause I hate going into her room every day looking for my eyeliner/hairspray/socks/brush etc...etc... or I need to get a lock for my door.

I do still have your address, it actually made it to my address book and not just a piece of paper taped to the wall. I will definitley get you a DVD of Reese, she is still not able to sing but she said maybe by Friday she can sing.

So it's up to me to give you a great vacation, since you're going to live it through me and all, that's alot of pressure. Do I have to dance naked on a bar in order for it to be up to your standards? :lmao: just kidding...no really...do I?
I will do my best to make you proud.

Yup 4 more weeks, I guess I can do that. I have PT 3 times a week, so I guess you could say I am kind of working.

Kent has been talking to about taking me to Disney in October, he is toying with the idea but hasn't committed. I asked him if you and your DH went would he go for sure and he said, I don;t know, it's possible, I guess so."
Then I asked him how he would feel if I went alone and just met friends there, he said well "Disney is not my favorite place to go, I want to go somewhere with you for our anniversary, so I thought Disney."
So I don't know if it's a solo trip or a Me and DH trip. Either way, it would be awesome to meet you. PM me and tell me what you're thinking.

This is a little segment we like to call: "REALLY?! With Seth & Amy" - I love SNL and they have fueled my fire into using REALLY in an over dramatic manner!

REALLY? That woman REALLY thought your blinker was there to direct her to the golden spot? REALLY? Fighting over a carriage?

OHHHH and the co-worker - come on - REALLY?

Hope today trumps yesterday :goodvibes - REALLY!

P.S. - I guess it is payback time... I have now added those jammies to my "To Buy" list! Then I go over to JoJo's PTR and see she bought a Cinderella Carriage pearl cage... looks like I need to of those too! (one for me, one for Madi)
Wow, SNL does a really segment? I haven't watched that show since Cheri Oteri left, I'm gonna have to check it out. I wanna know if they do really as good as I do really, I'm not bragging or anything but... REALLY!?

Your use of really was really REALLY! Godd Job!

I guess I need to go to JoJo's PTR and see her cinderellla carriage cage thing.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I can't believe your co-worker was such a snot about you not coming back to work. People just need to mind their own business.

Okay, I'm done! :thumbsup2
Oh yeah, she was a super snot, and the funny thing is, when she is at work she doesn't really work, she's good at looking busy, but she is always busy doing nothing.

The chick stealing your parking spot TOTALLY reminded me of the scene in "Fried Green Tomatoes" smashes her car into the one that stole her spot, just because she had more insurance. :lmao: I was half expecting you to reenact it!
I love that scene, I wasn't mad enough to smash her car, and honestly I didn't expect her to move her car at all, maybe she saw Fried Green Tomato's and was afraid I would smash it.:confused3

I have seen Beetle Juice, that is too funny, I have never imagined that though, normally when I can't stand to listen to anyone anymore I just walk away, If I'm not able to walk away I pretend my phone is vibrating, "Oh it's my kid, sorry I have to take this call." I guess staying and listening is more polite, but really imagining their heads shrinkinh, I would lose it, I would just fall on the floor laughing, and what if they were telling me about their great aunts elbow reconstructive surgery, "Ya know, Aunt Elsie was never very coordinated, and when she went to put her underwear on her foot got stuck in the crotch and she just lost her balance and tipped right over, her elbow hit the corner of the bedside table and helped break her fall, but I had a he!! of a time putting her underwear on her before the ambulance showed up, if I had known they were going to make her take them off for surgery I would have let her go in the buff and just tried to cover up her delicates with a blanket...blah blah blah.

:sad2:
I know, just because somebody looks perfectly healthy doesn't mean they can walk without pain. People should just mind their own business. That rots my socks.

We all want Disney! We want it bad. GO to the happy place in your mind.

They should make PJ's in tall, who do we write to to complain about this? Don't tall people deserve ankle coverage while sleeping? I'm 5 51/2 let's just '5 "6 (with shoes I am) I would totally buy tall jammies, cause it seems like mine always shrink.

YOur mom has the right set of mind. Who cares what others think, enjoy Disney anyway you can.

JoJo talked you into the gorilla pod? I thought if anyone would talk someone into buying anything it would be Jen (MadilynnsMomma) she is rough on the bank account, or maybe that is just with Disney purchases such as, adding an extra day or going to MVMCP. Oh wel, JoJo has been a shopping nutcase, she needs company.

:lmao::rotfl2:

Oh my gosh, that post was hilarious! Not that I'm laughing at you, of course not! But the way you describe everything is just a riot! It's like the "Murphy's Law" day or something out of Mr. Bean. That co-worker of yours is probably just jealous. Good on you for giving her a mouthful in return :snooty:

Murphys law day, that is exactly what it was, but honestly I never did anything to Murphy!!!:confused3 Why would I need to suffer from his law.

Run to WalMart now!!! Get the Disney Jammies, they are selling out fast. Oh Carp, I have just now become JoJo and Jen wrapped into one.

I would have liked to have given my coworker more than a mouthful!!

I will be back and post more later.

Jen I can't watch what you sent, my computer is waaaaay too slow for that, I can't watch any videos. I'm bummed because I really wanted to see it. I did watch an episode of SNL over the summer , it was a rerun, but it had a lady who said "Just kidding after every sentence, it was hilarious, do you know what I'm talking about? Is she on all the time do you know?

I wanted to post the picture of my newest jammies
elf001.jpg

I want to wear them now but I also want to keep them new for Disney. I can't wait. I am so super excited about my muppet jammies. I told a few friends and some family members, nobody seems to share my excitement. I hope they bring the muppets back, that would be so cool, think of all the new stars that could be on the show. I bet Beyonce would jump at the chance to do the muppets. Metallica would be my number one pick. Who do I call to make this suggestion to? I wouldn't even need credit for this grand idea, just put Metallica on the muppets and I would be a happy camper for years to come, not only would they get new viewiers from the younger crowd, but they would get viewers who grew up watching the show too. This is a win win situation here.

Those muppet jammies are super cute! :scared1:

And I would totally be a loyal viewer if they were to bring back the Muppet Show. I would love to see some of today's celebs on there, it would a hoot!

Ty, when you can, check it out! I can see and hear the "Just Kidding" girl, but for the life of me can't picture the skit... I don't miss those SLOW speed days, when I lived in a corn field...

Muppet jammies = SUPER CUTE!!! I too would sign a petition to bring back the show! Although, a lot of today's celebs are on Sesame Street and Yo Gabba Gabba! Who have we seen recently... Mike Rowe (Dirty Jobs), Jessica Alba & Jack Black have all recently been on Sesame. YoGabbaGabba IS the Muppets of today. If you haven't seen it, find it! It is a Nickelodeon/Noggin show and very trippy! Madi loves it!

I forgot to mention that too. LOL people like that just make me want to rip their arms off and beat them over the head with them. I know that movie!!! My daughter's named Lydia. We even call her Lyds for short (like in the cartoon version). Now it's one of her favorite movies. :cool1:

OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!!!! WHERE DID YOU GET THESE!?!?!?! I can't eait for your answer I must search the internet. I HAVE GOT TO HAVE THESE!!!!! I held back on the Mickey PJ's but these will be mine!!!

PS-I always get the newest season of the Muppet Show on DVD for Christmas. I LOVE IT!!! Let's start a revolution. VIVA LA MUPPET REVOLUTION!!!

Cute PJ's Ty! I know what you mean...I would WANT to wear them, but FORCE myself to put them away fro the trip! Therer is just something about being able to wear some things brand new on vacation!!

All caught up again! You have one super-duper active PTR! :goodvibes

Those Mickey PJs are adorable - flannel & winter themed. What more can you ask for? I need to get to my Wal-Mart and check it out. I would like those for my trip. Though, I am not crazy about my local-ish WalMart. The other one is closed on Sundays because of the Blue Laws. Really? yes, really annoying!

I hope your PT goes really well. I'm sorry you can't go back to work yet. I give you credit, since I would be going off my rocker. I would need to make lists upon lists to keep myself busy. I have list-ism, a disorder for making way too many lists in the vain hope I'll actually get something accomplished. :rotfl2:
Tell that girl from work to mind her beeswax and thank whatever she prays to that she doesn't have any mobility issues.

Is Reese better? I hope so!

Remember for the help you are giving to yoru friend, that the online dining opens at 3am EST. :thumbsup2

Ooooh, I will not even mention New Jersey in the same realm as Taxachusetts and Pennsyldrainya for taxes.
It's absolutely-freakin-incredible!! I finally got my real estate tax bill YESTERDAY (yes, they are very extremely late) due to Nov 1 and no grace period. Umpft. :headache:
And I pay taxes to 2 different cities since my property is on the city line. That's NJ!

Yes, Tony's Town Square was the day that Mitchell decided he'd rather make bread missiles to shoot at my father across the table than eat and be a good little boy!

And we had just gotten off Splash and was soaked to the bone and my hair was a mess, so I tried hiding behind the menu . Mitchell was bored and not wanting to stop having fun long enough to eat and he let everyone know it. He refused to eat, wouldn't listen to me, and then I gave him his dessert early, just to make him hush and be happy.

That's when my sister asked me why he could have dessert if he had not eaten. I would have liked to have said, "mind your own business, honey and leave me alone. Not everyone is perfect like you and your little princess there" - but I bit my tongue b/c I've had enough family troubles over the years w/out adding to them!

Love those muppet jammies!!! I totally get your wanting to wear them now, but wanting them new and fresh for Disney. I've been there before!!!

Those people at work will have to get over themselves. You know yourself that you'd have rather been at work and not dealing with the pain and doctor's visits for all these months. They just think you're having a high old time at home, when you know better. You deserve this vacation and those people who are jealous about it will just have to get over themselves.

Oh my gosh I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE those Muppets PJ's!!!!!!!! I can never find stuff like that around here.....poo.

I say you work them in so they'll be all comfy and cozy for when you do go to Disney :goodvibes
