Sorry to ask another question but, does anyone know (appart from Virgin) which airlines and travel agents let you book this far in advance for Dec 08. Just wondered. Thanks!

Hi Emily,

I only know of Virgin - Thomas Cook are going to Nov 2008 and TCD or MyTravel to Oct 2008. I imagine it will be another couple of months before they go through to December 2008.

is it just flights you are looking for or Fly/drive or full hotel/car/flight?

i wouldnt mind comparing flights but also looking at packages to, staying onsite without car. Thanks

emily,
all airlines work within a "window" of around336 days ahead of a flight.
So from airlines direct, you won't get a price until 336 days from the date of your return flight.

Comapnies such as Virgin Holidays take your booking but don't effectivly "book" your seat untill the 336 day window, but they can give you a price before that date.
How they work out that price I do not know, unless they have an agreement with the airline??
