Still waitlisted....how long will this take ? I rush to the computer every morning to see if I got a day and no such luck. It is going to be a long year!

I'm doing the same thing. Every night when I get home from work, I login and check my point total to see if my night has come through.

I did get a one bedroom for Dec 2 but it is standard view. Now I'm just waiting for savannah view. If that doesn't come through, I can live with it.

Add me to the list. We have a 1bdrm at VWL but just waitlisted today for a 2bdrm at VWL. We decided to take friends. Wish us luck! And to all of you who are waiting!!

We are waitlisted for a 2 bedroom at BWV for December 1-6 with the 3rd and the 4th being the nights with no availability.

How do I check the status? Can you do it online? DVC says they only send you notice via regular mail. Do you call, and if so, how often? At the 7 month mark or more frequently?

You can check your point total to see if it decreases, or your reservation to see if the new days are added, that is what I do. Some people do callbecause we just can't help ourselves, and feel that the early bird gets the worm. Good luck! That is a great week to go!

Thanks. My son will turn 2 that week, so that's why we wanted it....that and all the Christmas decorations!

I booked a reserve trip in case the wait list dates don't come through. It's in the considerably less enthralling month of January. But the point total is exactly the same, so....I'd probably be better off calling at this point.

My son's birthday is also that week and we went to WDW that week for 6 years. He loved being there for his birthday! Have a great time!

I have a ressie already, but it is for a 1bdrm and now we would like a 2bdrm, so we are waitlisted for that. Wish me luck!

I think that at 7 months, if I can get any resort for 12/7, I will move the first 1/2 of my trip to that resort and then maybe modify my waitlist for either BCV or BWV. However, I am contemplating making a cash reservation just to ensure a fall back position.

Just to say I have cancelled my waitlist and am just going to wait till the 7 month window and see what is available then.

Well, so that my mind is at ease, I broke down and booked a cash reservation for the night of 12/7 so that at least I will have something. There wasn't any member discounted or AAA rates available so I had to pay rack rate! However, I am sure that at 7 months I will be able to book something, so this is just for my state of mind. Also, if AP discount rates are announced, I will change to that.

We're going to wailist for Dec 5-8 at VWL for a studio. We're also hoping to get a studio at VWL in Feb for our honeymoon (Dfiance's request).

Are you going to wait until the 7 month mark or will you be waitlisting soon (so that I can put you on the correct list)?

I am sitting tight until the 7 month window to see what movement there is and if nothing may try for SSR or OKW as an immediate booking if not will waitlist for those two resorts for entire length of stay.

Well...I just cannot decide what to do about my waitlist. I am waitlisted for a studio for 12/28-1/2 at BCV. They had one more day available in a one bedroom and I am thinking about calling today to switch and waitlist for the one bedroom- but this will put me lower on the list (I think) I just thought more people would probably want to stay in a studio compared to a one bedroom.

Any thoughts?
