The 30 day mark is coming up on Nov. 5 or 6. Hopefully people will start to firm up there plans and things will start moving. Pixie Dust never hurts!

I just canceled a December 20 reservation for a Studio at SSR. Hope this helps someone's waitlist! I actually canceled it because I found a great "room only" cash discount so I thought I would save a lot of DVC points and spend a little money. It's weird that SSR has been booked for many months yet I can call the Walt Disney Travel Company and book a cash reservation for both Friday and Saturday nights in December with no problem. I really don't understand the inventory process for determining "DVC rooms" versus "cash rooms" but it doesn't seem fair, especially at a resort which is 100% DVC. I wonder how many DVC members are denied a room while the other cash rooms sit vacant? Doesn't make sense to me.

I want to stay positive... I do... everything came to place already but the DVC wait list..

started with a drawing board....

hoping that mom would decide to visit.. that happend 2 weeks ago she is coming end of November...

we are so short at work... and one by one my days request off have been feeling out and last night I got the past part time gal to work for Friday the 12th...

was contemplating aboutt ickets for my mom... since I have an AP... I counted all my one day pass from previous dining packages.. and I manage to come up with 8 base days...

now all I need is this... Oh DVC Goddess if you are reading let all our wait listed be granted

OH, please............. we have been crossing our fingers for a BCV studio for the night of 12/12 (Friday) to keep from having to move over to VWL that night.

We have been waitlisted since the day that SW came out with rates in June and the flight time on our original departure date would have made us leaving at 3:30 am on the ME. So we decided to add one more night to get a better flight time home on Sat 12/13.

I guess I learned my lesson to book an extra day. I had originally booked our stay in January but failed to think about SW changing flight times.

Since the waitlist is only for 1 night, we still have hope. I can handle the move easier than my mom, who is 80 years old.

They had no cash discounts or AP rates available either.

I called tonight to see if anything had opened up at BWV. Yes, I have a waitlist but you never know.

Unfortunately, there wasn't anything open for a studio or 1 bedroom. Oh well, the waiting continues.

I called today too. I am waiting for a 2br at BCV, BWV, WLV or AKV from 12/18-12/25. I currently have a 1BR at BCV and a studio for my mom at SSR.

I hate that I had to waitlist it for the entire timeframe, rather than day by day. I am willing to move resorts, if we could string a few days together, but it is looking less and less likely. For a 2BR, they only has single days available at OKW & BWV on the 19th and BCV on the 20th.

The member services guy I talked too, said best bet of it opening up is just shy of the 31 day window, because people will cancel to avoid points going into the holding account. So, I am going to wait patiently until mid-November and then call again.

Our waitlist just came through for 12/28 BWV 1br garden too! So excited to add on to the other 3 nights I've pieced together for New Year's! Now if the 23rd or 25th would open up for the studio we added on to our 1 br at VWL so grandma can come too!!!
