Not doing so good on my packing schedule. I wanted to be completly packed tonight. But, I have yet to finish even getting the kids things in the bag. I still have washing to do. I honestly feel so far behind. I just got in from the stores. So, hopefully. I will get most of the kids stuff done before tomorrow.. I always do this. Wait until the last minute.

The only thing that is keeping me going. Is knowing I will be going to disney in 8 days. Leaving all the stress, and the cares of the world behind. Thank you again debra for posting, the countdown. Today, I really needed to see it.

How is everyone's planning and packing going?

My 6 yo son, Omicron, has already packed his bag with all of his stuffed animals he wants to take with him. My daughter Chi, has made a packing list (actually several of them, she is OCD like me too). Our other kids are not OCD and dont care what they pack or what they have when they get there.

I have made lists plus have added things to my disney box. I keep this box in my laundry room that i can throw things in when i find them. It came from Disneyshopping when i purchased matching t-shirts earlier for this trip for $3.99 each, so it actually has 'Disney' written on it. Lately I have been throwing in light up toys, kids wallets, lanyards, squeeaze breeze bottles, and other stuff that I want to be sure to bring.

Other than that I haven't packed a thing. October is iffy weather-wise so we will likely bring warm and cool clothes. Maybe I will know better around the 5th of October.

It's funny that my boss is going thanksgiving and he is so not the disney type. Every day I ask him, so do you have any ADRs? touring plans?, etc and he has no clue what I am talking about.

I think I am about to buy a new van. Well it is used but it is new to me. I know with the gas the way it is - almost every gas station in the county is out of gas here - you may think I am crazy to buy a big van but it is one my family really needs. It is a ford E-350 XLT 12 passenger van. I am so excited Still negotiating with the salesman but I think i will take it even if he doesn't budge anymore (but dont tell him!) So far I have talked him down $2000. Wish me luck.

Hey guys, just wanted to say how much fun it was to get to know everybody and how greatful I am that we all wanted this swap. I will be leaving tomorrow morning and this should be the last post until I return.

That is such wonderful news!! We are in the market for a van too!! I figure in April. We will bite the bullet. I am thinking of getting an Odyssey. I think..

Love the Odyssey, we got one in 06, and I was kicking and screaming all the way there, I just did not want the van

But, all in all it is the best purchase we have made in a long time!!!
