Debit on my CC from Disney

I've just had my credit card statement in and there is a 30 euros charge marked only as CRO taken on 25 February. Now we were there from 23 to 27 December and I've no idea what it is for. I phoned the cc and it was them that said it appeared as if I had bought tickets from Disney which I didn't and as far as I remember I paid for everything with euros.

My question is would I have been asked for a cc on booking in as I can't remember giving it and certainly didn't charge anything to the room or have anything delivered. I have to phone back the cc on Monday and they will check into it further for me if I can't remember or find any receipts for 30 euros.

If I have given my cc on arrival the only thing I can think they may have charged me for is I had to get first aid on the day we left due to getting a huge splinter through my hand from the bannister in the Cheyenne. A rather good looking fireman was called and he removed it and bandaged my hand. My name was taken and the CM who was translating took my room number but no accident form was filled in.

Can anyone who has used their cc let me know what is on their statements from using in the hotel or if it shows up as a specific shop or restaurant? The amount works out at £23 odd so not a lot of money but its bugging me as to what it is and its so long ago now I can't think of anything that would have cost exactly 30 euros.

Stupid question coming up but I just noticed someone using the initials CRO, what does it stand for please!

CRO - Central Reservation Office

We've given a credit card imprint when checking in but have never charged,
Hope you get this sorted. :)

I believe it stands for Central Reservation Office.

I've used my credit card at various different shops, restaurants, counter service places at DLRP and it's always listed as DLRP (not sure of exact wording) then the actual name of the shop, restaurant, cart, fast food eatery.

This sounds very odd ~ and why charge it now after all this time?? :confused3

Hope you get it sorted soon. :wizard:

Curioser and curioser! I think I'll phone the Cheyenne direct in the morning and ask them, thanks for the help I'll let you know how it goes.

Disney once charged something double to my brother. He emailed them through the website and got his money reimbursed.

Parc Boutiques and the address Marne la Vallee show on my CC statement for shops inside the park, I can't find a statement from where I used the hotel charge card at the moment.

Hope you get it sorted, strane it's taken so long to come through, mine from Nov. showed up on the very next statement.

If you mean the bill from the hotel with all your purchases on it I have one.
It shows all the purchases you made ,in what shop ore restaurant, the date and even the time you used your card.
When you check out of the hotel the manger always checks the bill with you so there will be no problems later.

Hope this is what you mean.

I have always had the shop & address or the hotel come up on my statement when I have used my credit card.

I hope you manage to get it sorted:thumbsup2

We've never had any probs but hope you get things sorted out:)

cue embarrassed smillie :rolleyes1

After a fraught phone call, first of all to the Cheyenne and then to CRO where I got no-where and they wouldn't let me speak to anyone, said I had to email or write I just had a thought that it will probably be the 30 euros for the shareholders club

Because I was short of time I had phoned the shareholders club line and did it over the phone then faxed through the details and they faxed me back a temporary letter to use instead of a card. My card arrived the day we got back and it all seems so long ago now no wonder I couldn't remember when it came through on my cc dated 25 February. Just a shame it came through on my card as CRO and not the shareholders club. I'll check my older statements just to make sure but thank you everyone for your help!

:dance3:

Phew! Thank goodness! (But we always think the worst don't we, then feel silly  I've done it myself;) )

I'm glad you have solved the mystery:goodvibes
