How has the debarking process been on the Wish? Wondering if we can make a 11:18 flight (yes...I know its not recommended. Just looking for recent experiences). Would we have time to grab breakfast at Cabanas, walk off with our luggage and Uber to the airport? We have TSA precheck. What time would we need to be walking off the ship? Thanks.

Just got off this morning. Was a nightmare - over an hour wait from hopping in line to getting past customs. Believe we started the process at 9:22 and were in an Uber at 10:35.

Yikes! I would have guessed that most would have been off by 9:22!

When we went on the wish in sept the line to get off the ship wrapped all the way around the grand hall around one of the lounges never seen it like that on any of the ships not sure what the delay was. The customs lines were long on the fantasy last week

I had friends who sailed two weeks ago. They did Express walk off but they mentioned something about only the Main Dining rooms being available for breakfast and no Marceline so I would think if you did Express but skipped breakfast you should be ok for the 11:18 flight.

Thank you. Do you remember about what time you got in line to leave? Trying to see if there’s a “sweet spot” - maybe just before the first breakfast finishes up?

I believe express walk off usually begins around 7:30?

Way too early in my book. We barely made a 12:35 pm flight despite getting to MCO by 10:15 am. Security was a nightmare at MCO.

That sounds about right. The time varies based on when the ship is cleared. I've listened to the express walk off announcement from our balcony at around 7:15 several times while packing to leave the room.

The other positive is, getting off with all the other people who are gunning to get off and get going usually means everyone is moving quicker.

if you want to carry off yourself and forgo breakfast, we got in line around 6:45am for express and they let us off by 7:30am. There was maybe 10-15 groups ahead of us. We breezed through customs and were at our car rental in the garage by 7:45am. We were heading to Epcot so we wanted off as early as possible. :rotfl: We were on the 9/19 sailing. The express line was pretty long by 7:15am.

Good to know. We would like to avoid getting in line that early. Getting to MCO isn’t quite as exciting as a day at Epcot! :P

So what you're saying is, if express walkoff would require my eight year olds to be responsible for a roller and a backpack each, maybe just have the leisurely breakfast and get off the ship later?? :rotfl2:

Hubby and I would totally be express on our own, but boy do those kiddos slow you down! Plus, check in at Poly isn't until 4 or later, so we might as well enjoy one last complimentary meal.

We’re cruising the Fantasy out of Miami in April. I plan to get my last breakfast after that cruise!

Edited - the Dream! We were going to go on the Fantasy and decided on the Dream

As a FL native might I recommend for your flight out post cruise to go to the orlando airport site a spot with MCO RESERVE. Its free of charge. If you remember fast pass in the parks that exactly how it works and it expedites your wait time for TSA.
It is available everyday for flights scheduled to depart before 3pm.

You can reserve your spot the earliest is 7 days prior to departure. However you cannot do it same day.

In August, we grabbed breakfast at Marceline Market right when it opened at 6:30 - and did the express walk-off carrying our own luggage. We were on a bus by 7:30 and on our way by 7:50. Our flight was at 12:30 and we were at the airport and through security in plenty of time. I'm sure it varies for everyone, but we found we had plenty of time.

We were on the same cruise! We tried to leave a bit earlier than you—about 8:45–but it was just as bad. Huge winding line looped round and around the entire ship, and another huge line in customs. We did not get out of the terminal until close to 10.

what was nice about Disney is that they let us wait in that hallway until they called Express. I've been on other cruise lines when they won't let you linger around the atrium.

Monday was terrible. We just barely made our 12:35 flight. If you do the 11:18, do not try to go to breakfast in the morning. Express walk off.
