Death to this attraction!!

This will probably just repeat many of the attractions already mentioned but I would definetly look into updating or doing away with the following attractions:

1. Sounds Dangerous (Disney-MGM): It is a poorly designed show about a subject that can obviously be done a lot better. The Sounds of the Rainforest at Rafiki's Planet Watch at DAK is better as a completely auditory attraction. And that is sad. This is compunded by the fact that Sounds Dangerous is in a prime location for a quality attraction.

2. Stitch's Great Escape (MK): They just need to gut the idea and see if they can use the space for a totally different idea. The only good thing about this attraction is that it sucks poor hapless people that dont know any better into it so that lines are shorter at other rides.

3. Snow White's Scary Adventures (MK): Does not do the movie justice at all. Plus, it succeeds in scaring the crap out of its target audience insuring that they dont ride it again. What is the point?

4. Pocahontas and her Forest Friends (DAK): I like the message the show is trying to put forth and the animals are cute but man... it just pales in comparison to the show goin on right beside it (Festival of the Lion King). They need to either retool the show or just nix it for good.

The following attractions should all be kept but are in dire need of some rehab:

1. Country Bear Jamboree (MK): I like the feel of the show but the audio is absolutely horrible and the animatronics are dated. If they spruced this up, this could get back to being a major attraction, especially for the younger crowd.

2. Star Tours (Disney-MGM): With the amazing world that is Star Wars, its sad that this ride is the only thing out there that takes advantage of it. They need to update the ride video and amp up the adrenaline - this is Star Wars!

3. Space Mountain (MK): Would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have this converted to a single track, more intense, but smoother ride. Adding in a rock soundtrack (Like Rockin Space Mountain in Cali) would enhance it even more.

4. El Rio del Tiempo (Epcot): Ok... this IS getting rehabbed and I hear they are adding the Three Caballeros to it. So, we will see how this turns out.

5. Magic of Disney Animation (Disney-MGM): Needs to get back to the heart of Disney animation and not the lame films it has been putting out lately. The show with Mushu is almost a complete distraction from the point they are tryin to get across.

That little extra - Now if only Disney would make 4 for a Dollar a regular attraction with their own theater where they could perform various Disney hit songs all in accapella... that would be awesome.

:cheer2: I love love love this group - we look forward to them each time we go to B&B.:dance3:

Also, let's ditch stitch - what a dud of an attraction. I didn't know I liked Stitch character until I saw the movie last week. He and Lilo are so cute, but the so called attraction in MK does not do them justice.:headache:

How can anyone think of doing away with IASW:confused: - it is a must do for every kid I know who goes to MK. When my daughter was 2 and went on it for the first time, the look on her face was priceless - so much wonder and awe. She is 6 yrs old now, and all 3 of my girls would not visit MK without a visit to this classic ride. It is also a nice respite for us tired adults, especially during hot weather, a nice, slow, cool boatride, off of our feet.:)

IASW is my sister's favorite. It was the first to have a wheel chair boat so that a transfer was not nec. I think stich should go, it is borrrrrrrrrrrrrring. I also thought it was alot tamer than Alien.

Just rehashing some.

MK – Stitch and Swiss Family Tree house

MGM – Sounds Dangerous

AK – Chester and Hester (literally… anyone named Chester or Hester gets shown out of the park)

EPCOT – Do something with the Wonders of Life.

I HATE Dinosaur! Not because it is scary...because I really don't think it is scary for adults...but because it jerks and throws you around so much, it is painful! Never again! I wish it would disappear!

I would get rid of Test Track but hear me out every time that I go to ride it it has a breakdown or malfunctin that results in 4 hour waiting periods or them sending us away to another attraction and telling us to come back later.

Stitch and the Race Trac, what a long polluted wait that is!:sad2: Oh, and re-vamp the Tiki-room!

I have fond memories of going to it at the 1964 Worlds Fair in NY with my grandmother! DS loves it now too.

I agree death to STITCH! It is really awful!

I'll be honest, I used to be one of those "snooze through the country bear jamboree" kinda people, but I just recently bought the WDW trivia book vol 2 and it has an interesting tid bit in there about CBJ:

"Did you know that CBJ was affectionately known as "Walt's Last Laugh" among imagineers because he reviewed sketches for this attraction prior to his admission into the hospital preceding his death."

That just changed my whole view of CBJ. Every time I sit through it I think about Walt and I have a good time listening to the attraction.

Also, ditch stitch and bring back my mr toad!!!

This is the first time I've used this so I'm hoping I'm doing this right. I've been to Disney many time but I have to admit Stitch is the worst ride I have ever been on. If one ride should go it should be Stitch

I think the Jungle Cruise should be redone to be themed after the Jungle Book Movie. It could be an intermediate speed coaster that was low altitude like Sher Kahn sneaking through the trees. Use Baloo, King Louie and other along the way. You could still keep some of the theme of Jungle cruise, but make the animatronics modern. I also say Stitch is a failure. The ride could have been a great dark ride in a different venue. The small room available for the ride would be better suited for a space ship ride where you viewed the ride like a movie. It would also fit in better with the other rides in the area. The race track needs to go. I'm not sure if it would work in that space but I would like to see Disney build a ride based on the speeders used in Return of the Jedi. It would be cool zipping through the trees. Maybe something like that could be done at MGM to add to the Star Wars theme. Oh well it all costs money. If we are all still riding the current rides then WDW has no reason to change them.

Stitch was the absolute worst! That chilidog belch is beyond disgusting!

They should have left ALIEN ENCOUNTER the way it was. I personally enjoyed it, and miss it. I'd love to see it return.

Mind you, Stitch's Great Escape isn't as bad as many will say....(lots of folks scream as if it's the most horrible thing that's ever been devised in modern civilization, right up there with nuclear weapons, the holocaust, and chitlins)..but I think they could have worked one of my favorite characters (Stitch) into a ride, show, etc in a whole lot better way.

Definitely Stitch.

I had read on here that Stitch was terrible, a waste of time, etc but we decided to ride it anyway because I figured it couldn't be THAT bad, right??

WRONG. There was no wait at Thursday's P&P party so we got right on. Only 6 other people were on the ride. I was personally very bored and annoyed by the ride. I will be skipping it next time.

My DF made a good point when we were there in December. He thinks the race track should be made more into a Cars theme. They could make the cars look much cuter like other cars from the movie, and they could pipe in Lightning McQueen's voice like your actually on the race track. If you hate it..his idea, not mine!

I think I now have to make a SIG banner for my new campaign.

The ... "Ditch Stitch" campaign. (Brought to you by XS Tech) :)

I love Stitch, and his ride is a lot of fun. IASW is so bloody annoying, but it's a classic. Living with the Land was actually pretty fun and interesting and got us hungry for our dinner reservation we were waiting on.

The Seas with Nemo is veeeeeeery poorly done though. They should really get some better writing going on it (and the voices from the movie!).
