Have you ever gone to WDW solo and found it a wonderful place to reflect on your life, ie: what has hapened in the past and where it is going?

I have not had a solo trip in almost 10 years, So much has happened to me in that time frame; loss of both parents, oldest DS's marriage, 2 grandkids, youngest son's graudation from HS and now in college, loss of a 17 year relationship, loss of 2 well loved pets.

It all hasn't been gloom & doom. I have managed to take at least 1 WDW trip a year, sometimes several. I have a job that I love to go to. I'm in good health. And just in the past couple of weeks I have met the most amazing man! :lovestruc

So I am looking forward to my solo trip next week, just so I think about things and be at the Happiest Place on Earth.

Who knows what the future may hold? Perhaps my next trip won't be solo! :)

I wish you an amazing time on your solo trip!

My very 1st solo trip will be happening next week as well - On Wednesday, Nov 10th. I will be at the MK for one whole day, all alone - as a 'side trip' on a vacation for my birthday. I am staying at the resort for one night as well. I am hoping that just that one day and one night on my own - in my 'happy place' will help me to just make sense of the last year - My husband and I getting married and going through our 1st deployment, as he is in the Army. I feel a little stressed about it all - hoping one day can help.

Christine,

I will pray for his safety!
