It's almost the New Year and the fireworks have started... poor little poppet, he's terrified by the loud noises! We've wrapped him up tight, we're giving him lots of cuddles, everything we can do... but in the end, all we can do is be there for the little thing.

I guess I'm a scrooge or maybe a Karen 😃. But glad it is pouring here.

My dog has become increasingly fearful of fireworks and thunderstorms as she’s aged (almost 11 now). Last time I went to the vet they have me some meds to give her and also suggested a thunder shirt may be helpful. I kind of forgot about all the chaos tonight. It’s no where near as bad as summer weekends, but there probably will be some explosions. I should probably put her shirt on maybe around 9. Thinking about the meds….likely to be short lived maybe I should just see if the shirt works without medication.

We have herbal remedies and a thunder vest, but sadly he's hyper sensitive and people around here seem to love blowing up small patches of the Earth's surface...
