Deals on renting a mini van?

We are planning a Disney trip for June 5th through June 12th. We are renting a car and need a minivan. I'm seeing good deals on cars, but nothing for minivans. It seems like you pay a premium for a minivan, I'm wondering if that is because Orlando is a family destination so they are popular? We are flying Allegiant and the cheapest I've been able to find is $330/week plus tax when bundling it with my flights. Everywhere else I've checked is over $400 for the week. Does anyone have any tips or coupon codes for getting a better deal on a minivan? Thanks in advance!

You are looking to soon. The closer to your trip the prices will decrease. I always book the Tues before my trip because rental car co. release their last minute specials. Take a look at the Jan 2013 rental car thread. You will see that when that thread was started many months ago folks were quoted high rates but as their trip go closer the prices drop by a lot!!

I get $286+tax @ Dollar through the widget on rentalcodes.com for your dates for a minivan. Like the previous poster mentioned, you should see lower rates as the date gets closer, although it doesn't ALWAYS happen.
