Keep busy. I was a bedside nurse during my worst break up and I picked up many extra shifts. Ex had nothing to do with work so there were no reminders there so it was very easy to get engrossed in my patients and their care and forget about the sadness plus I made a ton of extra $$.
If you can’t pick up overtime at your job, then volunteer.
Keep busy. That’s my best advice. And once in awhile give into your sadness and cry. Then play Gloria Gaynor’s song “I Will Survive”.
