I discovered that it was a great deal more entertaining to fast forward the entire show. We have it on TiVo and just FF. We can see the $ amounts and don't have to deal with all of the commentary.

They should change the name of the show to "TV's Most Annoying Game Show Contestants & their Annoying Families."

The 3 contestants on the show so far have all been incredibly annoying. I enjoy watching the show, but these people (host included) are so phony.

ETA: We keep trying to see if we can get the million. Not yet, but I just got $750,000!! Too bad it's not real. That would be 'Merry Christmas' for sure!

I can't believe you all like this show. What is the draw of it because I certainly don't get it. You go on stage and get offered free money but don't take it? There's no skill or intelligence involved. What's the point?

The point is that it's fun. Not everything has to involve skill or intelligence to be enjoyable. I would also argue that there is a little bit of intellgence involved. You need to understand probability if you want to know what your chances are.
