DD's prom pics

DD's prom was last night. The girls were lovely, the guys were handsome. We went to the grand march - and definitely long classy dresses were the "in thing" not too many pastels. Colors were definitely "bold" this year.

Loved her hair!!!

Doing it all again next weekend...DD's boyfriend goes to a different school - and his prom is next Saturday.

My DGD went to her own prom last weekend, now is going to another one this weekend with a friend (he's a guy, not her boyfriend, just a friend). It's nice to see them get double duty out of their expensive prom dresses!!

I think it's great that the girls are wearing boldly colored ballgowns-- hate when I see the girls in short, more cocktail-style dresses. Women have plenty of opportunities in life to wear cocktail dresses! After prom, when do you wear a big fancy ballgown (except maybe for getting married)??

My son leaves for his prom in less than 2 hours. Somehow a son getting ready for prom is not as exciting as a daughter! I will try and post some pictures tomorrow.

Those dresses are so beautiful! Good for them for going for the princess look- Too many of the girls at my own prom were wearing dresses that were much too revealing, IMO. I don't mind backless dresses, but these were over the top.

Oh well. Your daughter looks beautiful and I love her dress!
