DDP vs. OOP??? Which was the better deal? RESULTS ARE IN!!

Thanks for your reviews & pictures! I really enjoyed reading your thread.
My daughter (7 y.o.) and I are going on a long weekend trip soon and we got the DxDP. I didn't do the calculations ahead of time so I wasn't sure if it would be worth the cost. Looks like we wasted some money by doing the Dx, but I will enjoy knowing that everything's paid for. next time I'll remember your thread & reconsider!!

Well, don't think of it as wasting some money. You CAN maximize the use of the DxDDP and come out ahead of what you paid. But my issue was that we don't normally order 2 appetizers and 2 desserts at every meal.

I'm sure if we had gotten the DxDDP, we would have eaten differently - more food - so the calculation would be different. Remember, I was comparing what the cost of the DDP would have been compared to what we would have normally ordered. I am sure if we had done the DDP and added up all the receipts, we would have come out ahead with the DDP.
