DDP *Updated* More Help Please!!!

Hiya

Ok I have just priced up disney dining plan through tcd, at a cost of £320 each,

Now can anybody tell me is it worth it?

I do enjoy the character and sit down meal etc, so can you do say crystal palace for breakfast? then ltt for dinner? and how many credits for each

the only down side being we would have to buy 14 day passes instead of the annual pass (but then it does save money in a wa any way)

I am a bit confused really

We got back last Sunday. You get loads and loads of food. So much so when a couple of our friends came over we used 2 of our counter service tickets to get them a meal each, and we still had one left over!!

As an example, for 3 of us, me, DW and DD(13):

Spoodles over $160
Le Cellier (twice) each over $150
Yacht Club over $140

Will be putting together a trip report this weekend detailing what we ate.

One warning. Book online as early as you can for the TS restaurants (you wont get in on the day). We booked all ours nearly 5 months in advance; got the last table at the time we wanted on two, and had to choose another time on two others.

Had the dining plan last July and I feel that it is totally worth it. We did have a few snack credits and CS credits left. It was good to be able to try so many different restaurants. You definately get a lot of food!!!

Ok this is what I found so far, I believe this is he entire list of places we can eat, so do you get 1 cs 1sdit down and one snack token a day?

• 1 Table Service (starter, main course, non-alcoholic drink)
• 1 Quick Service (main course, non-alcoholic drink or full combo meal, i.e. main course, side dish and soft drink)
• 1 Snack (ice cream, cookie, popcorn or soft drink, etc.)

Meals can be used in any way you choose and two table service meals may be exchanged for one meal at a signature Disney restaurant. Plan must be purchased for all persons in the party age 3 and up, for the total number of nights in the Resort.

Mushumadness - I got a printout (I think it was from Disney World & Orlando the Unofficial Guide site) listing all the places taking part in the DDP including whether they were snacks, CS or TS or signature meals. However, one or two disagreed with another printout I got from allears. Just poke around the sites, its what I'm doing. I've got about half a ton of paper with the menus printed out so we know where to eat I did begin to wonder if we'd done the right thing. Its costing us nearly £1200 for the four of us for two weeks, but hey its one more less thing to worry about when we're there knowing the food situation is sorted. Its made me cross reading the DDP board about people moaning (mostly Americans I think) about how to make to most of the plan when they all seem to be going when it free in August/September. Give it me free and I'd be laughing.

We love it.

We worked out we saved $400ish, and left some snacks behind.

Added bonus is the tax and tips are included. they took 18%.

And i here the snacks have changed they offer more choice, dole whips i got one on my last day, yummy.
