Hi Everyone!
I've looked at the sticky about snacks, but am just wondering....
According to the Disney website:

One (1) Table Service meal
Includes a choice of 1 main course, 1 dessert and 1 single-serving, non-alcoholic beverage, OR 1 full buffet. Dessert is not available with breakfast but may be replaced with 1 additional single-serving, non-alcoholic beverage.
One (1) Quick Service meal
Includes a choice of 1 main course, 1 dessert, and 1 single-serving, non-alcoholic beverage, OR 1 complete combo meal with dessert and 1 single-serving, non-alcoholic beverage. Dessert is not available with breakfast but may be replaced with 1 additional single-serving, non-alcoholic beverage.
One (1) Snack
Includes 1 medium fountain soft drink, 1 20-ounce bottle of soft drink or water, 1 popcorn scoop, OR 1 frozen ice cream novelty.
Character Dining (except Cinderella's Royal Table Experience= 1 Table Service Meal
Disney Signature Dining/Disney Dinner Show/Cinderella's Royal Table = 2 Table Service Meals

Are all those great OTHER snack choices still available? We did the DDP last year and were amazed by all the choices. Also, please clarify...tip is NOT included anymore? I thought I read about that here....
Thanks!!

Just there 1 week ago still many, many snacks still included, just snacks that can be shared like a box of donuts , tub of popcorn or large bag of chips are not allowed.
Yes you have to pay for tips and apps. this year and for a family of 4 like us it was $25-$35 per meal.

Table service tips are no longer included in the DDP. On the basic dining plan, you must pay for your own appetizers if you wish to order them.

You can get a wide variety of snacks, but they must be single serving items. Anything meant to serve more than one person (boxes of donuts, bags of bagels, 2 liter bottles of Coke, half quarts of milk) have been eliminated as snacks for 2008.

This might be a really silly question BUT....

Besides printing off the list of snacks on this website how do you know what is included and what is not?

Do they let you know?

Also, can you order anything you want at the TS meals?

There are a few exceptions at the TS meals but they are very few and far between, and usually concern the fact that you will probably not be able to order a price-fixed selection that includes entree, appetizer and dessert (which makes sense because you don't get an appetizer anyway on the basic plan). Some "dessert samplers" that are meant to serve more than one person may also be disallowed, or can be ordered only by two people (you couldn't order them for one person using one credit).

Snacks, as a general rule, are usually any single-serving item that costs under $4. Some places have the DDP snacks labeled; at others, you might have to ask about specific items.

When you walk up to a counter to get a snack there will be a small box with a Dining Plan Snack symbol to let you know that it is in fact covered under the snack plan...There are tons of things on the snack plan...Our favorite is the Ice Cream Sandwich from Sleepy Hollow in the MK...You will find most snacks around the parks and resorts on covered on the plan...Almost every day I will get the apple slices w/carmel dip from our resort cafe as a snack on the plan...You will be so happy with your selection....Not to worry about the selection or how you know if it is covered...Just look for the small symbol next to the item on the price sign...

Yes, you can order any entree and and any dessert you want from the menu when you are using your TS credit...There is no items that are not allowed because of price...So you can order the lobster if you want...It is what ever you want off the menu...

The only issue is with kids...They must order from the kids menu when there is one available and most places have a kids menu...This goes for counter and table services.

GREAT information!!!

Glad there will be symbols and didn't know we could order anything at TS so thanks!!
