If you've been on the DDP in 2009 -- what do the receipts say? Does anyone have a recent receipt that you can photograph or scan? I'd like to see one.

At the bottom of your receipt, it's suppose to give you a breakdown of how many meals you have left. Do they still do this? How does it breakdown your remaining meals? Have the receipts changed their format in 2009, or are they the same format as previous years?

Yes, it still shows remaining credits on the bottom. We were at the Contemporary in January 2009...sorry, I can't scan on my computer, but looking at a receipt and it says "4 DLXE CPNS REMAINING" which I assume meant 4 Deluxe Credits remaining since we were on the Deluxe Dining Plan

I don't have any of my receipts left but when I was there in March the bottom of the reciept would show how many credits left of whatever kind of credit I had just redeemed. So if I had bought CS meals, my receipt would show how many CS credits were left. I had bought TS meals, my receipt would show how many adult and child TS credits were left. Same for snacks. Make sense?

Thanks! Regarding CS, does your receipt itemize how many CS adult & CS kids meals you have left? Or just the total CS meals for the whole family?

It will say xx CS credit remaining - they are not or have ever been separated by adult or child.

This is what disappointed me in my fellow DISer's more than anything.

After studying up on the DDP for over a year, and then finally using it on our last trip, I was shocked that at the bottom of each receipt it clearly stated "CPNS" as in COUPONS. Nowhere in Disney World are they referred to as CREDITS. They call them coupons. I guess I was just surprised that no one on these boards had ever made mention of that before.

And whats the difference?? :confused3

I have another ?? Do the receipts show the price for each item 'bought' or just the use of the credit?

They list the price of each covered item as $0.00.

If you want to do a cost analysis, you'll need to take notes as you go.

Thanks - interested to see how much we will save so will remember pen & paper!! or better still, photo the menu boards!!

If you want to track your costs/savings...

In the stack of receipts they bring you - it will be several - there's one that you sign & return to them that has all the actual menu prices on it. The one(s) you keep do not have prices for the items covered by the dining plan (but will have prices for items you ordered OOP like a beer or an appetizer not covered.) So make notes on the receipt you keep before returning the signed receipt, or you'll be doing it all from memory.

Which, of course, only applies to TS receipts. For CS or snacks, you'll never see the intermediate receipts.

Very true. I noted all our TS costs on the '$0.00' reciept we got for our records, but for CS meals I used the AllEars menus to get a rough estimate of what we saved on CS meals (don't forget the % tax as well)
