DDP Plan with Two Reservations

Hello Everyone.
I have a question about the DDP for DVCers. I have my own reservations under my DVC points and linked it to another reservation from another member to extend our trip. I asked MS for the DDP and it was added to my part of the reservations, however, they can not add it to the linked reservations. Can anyone advise as to how to have the DDP for our entire stay?

The other member will have to add the DDP for you since you are using their points. And it will probably be two separate reservations. Did they say you would have to check out and check back in?

No, the reservations are linked so I do not have to check out, than back in. I will stay in the same room the entire stay. I have done this many times, but never have done it with the DDP.

Call back and speak to a supervisor. If it's linked and is the same exact resort and unit type, I'd think you can get it on the entire thing. You'll only need to check in once and have to get the DDP for the entire thing. In reality you likely won't have the option of getting it for a portion unless you unlink the reservations.

Last year I booked nights 1, 3 & 4 and a member friend booked night 2. They were linked and we got the dining plan for all 4 nights.

Thank you for the responses. I will call them back and try again. I had spoken to one CM before who said it couldn't be done, and a second one who was not certain how to do it and didn't want to mess up the linked reservations. Since some of yours experiences suggests that it is able to be done, I will try calling again.
