DDP no appetizer.. kids meal?

ok, we've done the DDP in the past and loved it.

We've gone when the kids got to pick any appetizer on the menu (2006)

We've gone when they had certain choices to pick from (carrots, salad, soup)(2007 2x)

Now how do they do it since there is no appetizer??

Do the kids just get the main meal and dessert?

As per the 2008 Dining Plan brochure, guests ages 3-9 are still permitted an appetizer off of the children's menu.

The kids still get an app which worked out well for us because often they didn't want them so we were able to get things like the Le Cellier cheese soup without paying for an adult serving.
