I've just booked our flights for October and then went to double check hotel prices on the Disney website - only to discover the offer for free QSDP with a moderate hotel has disappeared!

I booked the same holiday with free dining in 2009 in June, and so was shocked to see the offer had disappeared so quickly. Does anyone know whether this usually happens and is relaunched later in the year or if things are different this year?

You would think with the prices being more expensive these sort of offers would stick around to encourage people to visit :(

The offer as been running since around september 2010 and ended on 31/03/2011

The 2011 free DDP deal has been on sale for about a year now, it has been widely advertised the offer would end 31st March. Most have now removed the details but one still here.

I doubt it will be offered again this year but you never know with Disney. They are now on with next years free Dining offer. Sorry you missed it.

hmm i feared as much - having waited until June to book in 2009 I was hopeful the offer would be extended again, but no such luck. Now have to reconsider whether it is actually worth staying on site as the hotel prices have also gone up this year.

Thanks anyway!

Just found thread from 1st April 2010 saying it had just been released, it was very early last year, just as it is again this year for the 2012 offer.

They seem to be wanting to attract early bookers with the deal now and not offer to late bookers. I have not looked at the US free dining offer is that still running? might be worth looking into.

no doesn't look like it... thanks for the suggestion though. Think I'll hold fire and look out for any offers over the next few months, and if nothing comes up I'll have a look off site.

Free Dining 2012 is now on offer...

And for Virgin at least, needs to be booked by the end of November this year, so even earlier again than the 2011 free dining having to be booked by end of March 2011.

Sorry you missed it :sad2: Hope you manage to find some other deal to reduce the costs.

This is same as previous years, the original offer has to be booked by Nov, they then decide how the economy is going and extend if needed. This is taken from VH this time last year.
"All bookings must be made between 01 Apr ’10 – 01 Nov ’10 for stays completed between 01 Jan – 17 Feb ’11, 01 May – 02 Jun ’11 and 01 Aug – 15 Dec ’11"

Free dining has already been offered in the US for this year and had to be booked by December.

People are hoping it will come back but I wouldn't like to guarentee anything especially as the summer discounts just released are less than last year and only cover the deluxes.

Thanks for that, I thought it had been offered but then saw that thread.

Free dining is out by pin code at the moment and the code watch addicts on the main boards are waiting for some form of public offer at the moment which is expected (or at least hoped) to follow shortly so it may be worth holding on a little if this could be an option. The pin codes are covering dates up to mid August at the moment if that helps at all.
