We are back home and pretty much unpacked. Hubby has the 5th load of laundry in and we just got back from Sam's Club. Our re-entrance to the real world has occurred, but we still want to be in our happy place! Thankfully we will be back for either Thanksgiving or Christmas, depending on my work.

Hubby is going to work on uploading pictures the next few days. We got about 600 on our Photopass Plus, so we have to add borders to those.

A quick preview - we had some awesome meals - Be Our Guest QS 2x, Wolfgang Puck Express, 1900 Park Fare, and T-Rex (lasagne was wonderful!), amazing experiences - Pirates & Pals Fireworks cruise, Keys to the Kingdom tour, and Wonderland Tea party (our daughter has already asked to go again). We will rate all 13 TS meals and countless QS meals and snacks - then you will see how much my hubby gained from the 13 day trip!

First day at Disney - Star Wars Weekend at Hollywood Studios

Our first stop was a popular snack - Mickey Pretzel & a Diet Coke

This was a good use of a snack credit for us on our first day, but we rated it as a 3 out of 5 - Ooohhh

Dinner at Pizza Planet

I had my favorite - a cheese pizza with a Caesar side salad.

This hit the spot for me this evening, along with my Diet Coke! I rated this a 4 out of 5 - Oooohhhh.

My hubby had the Antipasto Salad.

He said it was alright and rated it a 3 out of 5 - Ooohhh.

For dessert, we each had a Darth Vader Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake.

This was a very rich, delicious cupcake, if you like chocolate and peanut butter. We ended up sharing one of the cupcakes and taking the other back to the hotel for later that evening. We rated this a 4 out of 5 - Oooohhhh.

Star Wars Weekend at Hollywood Studios & Wishes Dessert Party

We watched the Storm trooper show at 7:30 am before Hollywood Studios opened. Then, we were at the front of the crowd trekking to Toy Story Mania. After getting fast passes and then riding in the standby line, we headed for pictures with Jedi Mickey and Princess Leia Minnie. After that it was 9:25 am and time for our breakfast.

Play & Dine Breakfast at Hollywood & Vine

Our daughter loves the Disney Junior characters and always enjoys this breakfast. We took pictures of our first plate, but forgot to take pictures of our second plates.

Here is my husband's plate. He said the muffins were a 5 out of 5!

I was starving and started eating my scrambled eggs. I love the buffet scrambled eggs at Disney - these did not disappoint. I was also very excited to see Make-Your-Own-Burritos on the buffet, which breakfast burritos with scrambled eggs were a 5 out of 5 in my book.

Overall, we rated this buffet as 3 out of 5 - Ooohhh. It is a decent breakfast buffet with a couple great items. It works for us with our daughter at this age. If the characters of Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins are added, it will automatically go to a 4 out of 5 for us.

Late Lunch at Backlot Express

We had a late lunch in the nice, cool air conditioning of the Backlot Express - which is one plus for it as a counter service.

My hubby had the 1/3 lb. Angus Onion Straw Bacon Cheeseburger with fries.

I had a 1/3 lb. Angus Bacon Cheeseburger with French fries. Another plus for me was the drink fountains with unlimited Diet Coke for me!

Hubby had another Darth Vader cupcake and I had the marble cheesecake. Both were okay, but just too sweet for us in the heat.

Our daughter had the kids' meal with chicken nuggets, French fries, and applesauce. She rated it as a 5 out of 5!

We rated each item as a 3 out of 5 - Ooohhh - for this quick service meal. It served its purpose, but nothing outstanding - except for the Diet Code refills and air conditioning!

Afternoon Snacks

We had a couple afternoon snacks to beat the heat.

Our daughter had her first Mickey Premium bar ever - I know this is here 4th trip and we just got her this first bar. Trust me, she is not deprived!

I had a nice refreshing frozen lemonade! These snacks hit the spot and were a 5 out of 5 - Ooooohhhhh - very refreshing!

Wishes Dessert Party
We hopped over to Magic Kingdom for the Wishes Dessert Party. We had a great table for the party and got there early for lots of treats.

Here is the first plate we shared. My husband and I's favorite were the succulent chocolate-covered strawberries! We ate a ton! We also liked the green tea (I think) crème brulee.

We also tried a few other desserts - cannoli, peanut butter tart, and an apple dessert.

Our daughter liked the ice cream and loved the fruit! The pineapple is not showing in any of these pics, but we had several helpings of it. It was definitely a 5 out of 5!

Overall, the view of the fireworks and the chocolate-covered strawberries make this a 5 out of 5 for us - Ooooohhhhh!

1900 Park Fare breakfast

My daughter and I went to 1900 Park Fare last October for the first time for breakfast and dinner. We loved both the meals and decided to go back with my husband this trip. Our server brought us Passion Fruit juice, which my husband loved and gave a 5 out of 5.

I had my usual oatmeal, some French toast, scrambled eggs, and chocolate pastry. They had cheesy scrambled eggs on the kids section, which were amazing - definitely a 5 out of 5 in my book!

My husband had French toast, a pancake, sausage, and the breakfast pizza. I also tried the breakfast pizza after my husband raved about it. We both gave it a 5 out of 5!

My daughter loves her fruit and toast, so that is what she had and was quite happy.

Finally, after I raved about it since last October, we each had some strawberry soup. It is like heaven in a bowl. We all agreed we loved its sweetness and gave it a 5 out of 5!

1900 Park Fare breakfast is one of our favorites now. It right up with Tusker House for us. We rated it a 5 out of 5!

Les Chefs de France

Our daughter fell asleep in stroller, which was one of her only really good naps in her stroller in the parks this year. So, hubbie and I planned to continue with our Les Chefs ADR and have a nice romantic meal at Les Chefs. The staff was wonderful and made a spot for our daughter's stroller at our table. Then, our very attentive server brought our drinks and a very fresh baguette.

I ordered the Prix Fixe lunch, so I ordered Soupe a L'oignon Gratinee (French Onion soup) to start. It was good and had nice flavor - I gave it a 4 out of 5.

Then, we had a visit from our friend, Little Chef. He was quite cute and one of the reasons we came. Unfortunately, our daughter was still sleeping, but we enjoyed his visit. Thankfully, our daughter did not even realize that she missed Remy!

For our entrees, I had the Gratin de Macaroni (Macaroni with Gruyere cheese) and my husband had the Crepe Florentine. I was very excited for the Mac & cheese, because of my love of cheese, especially Gruyere! Unfortunately for me, the nutmeg in this dish greatly overwhelmed the Gruyere cheese for me. I only ate about a third of my dish - the nutmeg was just too strong for me. I gave my dish a 3 out of 5 because of the nutmeg.

My husband liked his savory crepe and gave it a 4 out of 5.

For dessert, I had the crème brulee. It was alright, but not outstanding - a little too burnt for my taste. I gave it a 3 out of 5.

My husband had the Profiteroles au Chocolot. Thankfully, my husband shared with me. My husband loves cream puffs, but these pastry puffs were very dry. My husband rated them a 2 out of 5, but the ice cream and chocolate sauce saved the dessert. The chocolate was decadent and definitely a 5 out of 5!

Overall, I was really looking forward to this ADR. Unfortunately, I was not wowed for our first time and we gave Les Chefs a 3 out of 5 rating. Our server was very attentive and Remy was quite cute, but the only food we rated a 5 out of 5 was the chocolate on the dessert. Maybe it was an off day, but I don't see us giving it another chance for a long while, unless our daughter wants to see Remy.

Late dinner/snack at Everything Pop food court

We came back earlier from the park in order to get to bed for our early ADR Chef Mickey's the next morning. We stopped at Pop's food court and shared the following...a kid's cheeseburger meal with...

a side of carrots and French fries, plus an extra side of French fries...

Yes, that is me dipping my French fries in sour cream - I love it! We also had a cheese Danish - Yum!

This snack hit the spot, but was not amazing. The burger was a 3 out of 5, but the French fries and Cheese Danish brought it up to a 4 out of 5.

Chef Mickey's
We had a 7:20 am ADR for Chef Mickey's. We checked at the Concierge desk at Pop Century the night before to see if we needed to get a cab to the Contemporary. We were told if we would stand at the Magic Kingdom bus stop about 6 am or 6:15 am, then an early morning ADR bus would come. We got to the stop and right about 6:20 or 6:25 am the bus came - it was perfect! We got to Chef Mickey's a few minutes early and we happy, because we wanted to try to make rope drop at MK. Here is the first plate of food.

My husband had French toast, sausage, scrambled eggs with salsa, tater tots, and breakfast pizza. He really liked the breakfast pizza, so I tried it too.

I tried the breakfast pizza, which I liked too. We both gave the pizza a 4 out of 5. I also love the donut holes - Yum! I usually love Disney scrambled eggs, but these were terrible - cold and chewy - I rated them a 2 out of 5.

We were also given our first anniversary treat from our wonderful waitress - our daughter was loving the cupcakes and sprinkles at 8 am in the morning! We took a few minutes and wrote out a Cast Member recognition card for our waitress - she was very attentive, efficient, and so friendly!

While we had great service and good character interaction, I think we will take a break from Chef Mickey's for a few trips. Overall, mostly due to the lacking of food, we rated this meal as a 3 out of 5.

Magic Kingdom - a new Snack
We made it over to Magic Kingdom for the Welcome Show and the front of the crowd. My husband and I walked with purpose and pushed our daughter's stroller down Main Street and to Enchanted Tales with Belle. We were the second family there and had a wonderful first time! My husband was a suit of armor and our daughter was a dancing plate. It was wonderful! After going on Under the Sea and meeting Ariel, we headed over to meet Gaston. We also tried a new Snack, LeFou's Brew.

I fell in love with LeFou's Brew and had 3 more as a snack credit during our trip! Yum - I rated these a 5 out of 5 each time! Oh, how I want one right now!

Be Our Guest
I took my LeFou's Brew and headed back to Pop Century to meet my mom and mother-in-law. By the time I got to Pop, they had been able to get into their adjoining room beside us. We stop to get their mugs and refill mine, then headed back to Magic Kingdom. My husband and daughter took one for the team and waited in line for Be Our Guest while the moms and I came back to MK. The line went quick, so he actually had to let a few families go ahead of him before we got there.

I ordered the French onion soup as a snack credit. It was alright, but not as good as Les Chefs. I rated it a 3 out of 5.

I also ordered the Croque Monsieur, which I absolutely loved! It was amazing this time and the second time I had it on the trip!

My husband had the braised pork, which he said was alright and rated it a 3 out of 5.

The moms each had the vegetable quiche and salad. They both enjoyed it and gave it a 4 out of 5. We thought all of the entrees were quite good and a great value as a quick service meal.

My mom and I each got the chocolate cupcake, which were amazing, outstanding, rich, decadent...I could go on and on! Of course, we rated this cupcake a 5 out of 5.

My husband and mother-in-law each ordered the strawberry cream cupcake, which they both really liked. They each rated it a 4 out of 5.

Overall, we loved the food, atmosphere, and drink refills at Be Our Guest. It definitely earned a 5 out of 5 from us - we loved it so much that we came back later in the trip. I tried to talk my husband into a third lunch there, but he wanted to try other places. Be Our Guest was one of my favorite quick service meals - delicious and a great value!

Snacks at Magic Kingdom
We shared a few snacks during the rest of the afternoon and evening.

My daughter and I shared a chocolate-covered pretzel stick rolled in mini M&Ms. We tried one last trip and decided to have another. We gave it a 4 out of 5.

My mom and I also shared a Sweet Cream Cheese pretzel, which was just as good as I remembered it. My mom loved it too. The pretzel was rich, so it was perfect to share! We rated it a 5 out of 5.

For dinner, we shared some quick service meals at Pop Century's food court, but I didn't take any pictures and nothing stood out in my mind. It must not have been too great or too bad.

Breakfast on the Go & Lunch at Sunshine Seasons

My husband, daughter, the moms, and I just grabbed a few items for breakfast on the go and apologize in advance for my lack of pictures today. I think we were excited for the moms to have arrived the day before and starting slacking on picture taking. My hubby and I shared a breakfast bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese several times during the trip - usually eating it in line for the bus. I also see a Cheese Danish (my favorite) in the back of the picture - yum!

I will give this breakfast a 3 out of 5, because it was good on the go but did not stand out as extra special. Though, my Cheese Danish is always at least a 4!

We had a great morning at Epcot, which included the Behind the Seeds tour. We love it! Our 4 year old daughter did a great job on the tour and had fun, too. We were not hugely hungry and knew we were having a huge, early dinner at Via Napoli, so we shared a few quick service meals at Sunshine Seasons. I could only find pictures of the desserts, which was the best part anyways!

This was my key lime pie, which was awesome and I really didn't have to share this anyone. Only my mom likes key lime pie and she was happily sharing a wonderful cheesecake with my mother-in-law. We rated the key lime pie and the cheesecake as both 5 out of 5. The moms also shared a vegetable flatbread with potato salad, which they said was fine and rated a 3 out of 5. My daughter, husband and I shared a cheese and fruit tray and a Pizza Panini. Both were fine, but nothing outstanding - we rate a 3 out of 5.

My husband shared the strawberry shortcake with my daughter and they both loved it - rated it a 5 out of 5. Overall, the desserts made up for the entrees and averaged out to a 4 out of 5 for this bit to eat.
