Can I use DDP at the Boardwalk pool for counter service? Also, for counter service at the Bakery would we get a Beverage, sandwich, chips and dessert?

I don't think Leaping Libations accepts CS credits. Not sure about that though. I didn't try.

Counter service includes either combo meal, beverage and dessert, or entree, beverage and dessert, so expect to be able to get just three items at each CS eatery. The BoardWalk Bakery menu shows chips as an additional charge item, not part of any of the Lunch Specialties.

You can also go to the pizza window at spoodles. I will say having done the dining plan at the BWV the sandwich sizes at the Bakery are enormous. You won't miss the chips. Especially with the excellent desserts. Hope that helps.

Earlier in the year we had several threads about that, and I believe the final result was that the BoardWalk Pizza Window no longer accepts CS. It will offer Dining Plan patrons soft drinks, but not pizza.

I felt very limited at the BWV's last summer with the DP. Now the pizza window isn't included? Yes, the bakery has some great dessert options but for real food the BW really is limited for CS. Thank goodness it is so close to Epcot.

I fully agree about feeling limited at the BWV. I didn't know that the pizza window stopped taking a CS credit. That is a bummer, the pizza is pretty good. The lack of dining options at the BWV is one of the main reasons I am not staying there in september. I opt for places with a better food court or atleast more convenient dining options.

We stayed at BWV last month and had a great time on the Dining Plan, not feeling limited in our choices at all. Being able to walk right into Epcot and Disney-MGM Studios was excellent.

Hi Bicker!
You are always so helpful!!
I hope you don't mind me asking you a question? When you were at the BW what did you do for a CS meal at the resort or surrounding area without going into the park? The day we arrive I want to eat at the resort for lunch because we have a TS dinner at CSH at 6pm. We don't want to go into a park for that lunch.

With Epcot and Disney-MGM Studios so nearby, we never had the need to have a CS meal back at the hotel. We had one CS at Tangierine Cafe, one at Seasons, and one at ABC Commissary. (We also ate at Cosmic Rays and Tusker House. Of the five, we had absolutely great meals at ABC Commissary, Cosmic Rays and Tusker House.)

Can you have lunch at Beaches and Cream across the lake at the Beach Club with the DDP?

Isn't there a food court/market at the Beach Club now .... think it's called Beach Club Marketplace. There may be CS options there.

Yes, but they are a TS not a CS. You can eat at Hurricane Hanna's at the BC pool, that is a CS. We always have a car, so we often will zip to a food court at a moderate or value resort to grab a CS meal if we're not in the park. CSR is a good choice, but Pop is pretty close.

The Beach Club Marketplace has CS options - salads and sandwiches. Similar fare as the Boardwalk Bakery. No burgers.

Is Beach Club Marketplace on the DDP? I didn't see it listed there.
