Haven;t been in a while...have the DDP Deluxe plan.
This will be the FIRST vacation with dd (9 y/o) and I will take since my husband's death, which is just about a year now. I would like to make it as special as I can. ;)

I could really use some help.

I saw your post and wanted to help... but your post doesn't say what it is you need help with.

I'll help have you made any dining reservations yet? and what are your exact dates.

Sorry. LOL.
12/24 - 12/29.

Are there special themed Buffet's or hotel restaurant on the DDP?
I know I need to make reservations like YESTERDAY...do I need to make reservation for every day I am there or do some not need reservations?

Thanks, guys.

Yes, it is going to be very crowded. I would make them ASAP. We are going to be there at the same time, Dec 24th - 28th. We just booked our ressies about three weeks ago. I immediately started to make our ADRs and we were not able to get the places and times we wanted. We had to make some compromises. Good luck.

Some good choices with a nine year old would be Sci Fi Dine Inn in the Hollywood Studios, or 50's Prime Time Diner.
At magic kingdom, since it is just two of you, you could try to get Cinderellas Royal Table and Liberty Tree Tavern, as Liberty tree tavern will not have any characters at the dinner meal after Jan 5, 2009.
Animal Kingdom has yak and yeti, if you and your daughter like chinese food. There is also Tusker House, which is a buffet.
At Epcot there are a lot of choices. If at all possible, try to book a dinner so that you can see the candlelight processional. Believe it or not there were still some tables left just yesterday (I made a reservation for a friend).
Just call as soon as possible, let the dining line help you with suggestions. If you are willing to eat at off times, like early breakfasts and late dinners you should be able to find reservations!
We just changed from regular dining to deluxe dining and had to make several more reservations. We are a party of 5 and got several meals we wanted and a few we figured should be o.k.!!
There is only one I am not happy with and will keep calling to try and find a cancellation some place else.
A lot of people seem to cancel and so openings do occur!! Good luck and I hope you enjoy your trip and your Christmas! (((((((Hugs))))))))) that is such a wonderful idea to make your first Christmas alone with your daughter special and memorable!!

Which dinner res at EPCOT can we see the CP at, or is it ANY of the restaurant at Epcot.

I think I did pretty good considering its XMAS week.
I got LIBERTY TREE TAVERN, 1990 PARK, DONALD'S SAFARI, CRYSTAL PALACE,PRIME TIME and SAN ANGEL INN for the CP.

Took forever, but the Cm was MORE than helpful. =) :cheer2:

You did great now hop over to the Theme park board to find out which park is the best to visit each day. It will be very important to have some kind of schedule the week you are going.

if you possibly can try to get the Coral Reef my kids loved it there and the food was delicious.
