DDP and Disney Gift Card????

Has anyone actually paid for the DDP with a Disney Gift card at check-in??? I know you should be able to now but just want to make sure.

I haven't used them yet, but I emailed DVC with this question. The person said that you can use it to pay for the DDP at the front desk when you arrive.
