We are using the DDP on our upcoming trip, but I am a little concerned about how DD9 will do with this. She is not a big eater, so childs portions are fine, plus we are doing a lot of buffet and family style dinners where she can pick and chose. My concern with with CS meals. She can only eat so much mac and cheese (she is not a big meat eater) so I am wondering if you are ever allowed to pay the difference for a CS adult meal. For example, on one menu I saw that the kids meal was $5.99 but her favorie vegie burger is $1 more on the adult list. Could I pay the difference and let her get the veggie burger?

My initial reaction is no but it never hurts to ask! I don't think anyone is going to be able to give you a definitive answer. Even if one CM let them do it ... another may not you do it.

Hope for the best, be prepared for the worst. I have found that CM's in general will try to work with you.

The TS and snack credits will be enough to get your monies worth. Worse case take the child's combo for the drink, dessert and "side" dish and just buy an adult burger. Although not usually on the menu Disney CS restaurants have a price for geting the CS entree without the fries.
